As practice has shown, it is politicians who impose war, without interrupting and controlling the people get rid of us themselves clogging the consciousness in the way of life education and understanding of freedom and movement. Russia helped, was left extreme, Russia is guilty that NATO was at the time of the conflict to hold the war and taking the opportunity to use the war against the people where there is a growing stupid people and not realizing where President Zelensky and near Germany where there is a connection and proximity with Ukraine to forget about the Great Patriotic War but the loss of human lives no one cares and at the moment, Zelensky, Trump and Putin did not negotiate. As for the war in Israel, the politicians made a mistake to favor the president of Israel to protect his people before the elections, the war to maintain genocide that should be concluded . People have forgotten about those times when they traveled around the country, and the authorities lived in their countries and did not organize the war, as now it is necessary to change the power in Ukraine and in general. We are waiting for a provocative war where there is no anger and genocide remained in the blood as under Hitler only under the cover of America and everyone lives abroad who has the opportunity, but you can not forbid people an additional income. Birth of children is made that to correct the dead people in Ukraine in Russia and in the world. America is the same people many of us, and the rich are capitalism where they destroy as in Russia and Ukraine some connection. The development of the country, not imposing evil in Syria, to satisfy life.
I have flown EVA from NY to Manila with stopover in Taipei about 20 times in evergreen Deluxe or Business class & never had a problem, every flight was on time or early, the staff was outstanding & food was FAR better than on any US carrier. The lounge in Taipei is great, large with lots of comfortable seating, good variety of drinks, alcoholic & non & decent variety of food. I have made this same trip on Delta & it can not compare, also have made trip on Philippine Airlines, it was better than Delta but far from EVA..

I have to comment because you made the mistake that many new business travelers make: you went to the lounge the staff told you to go to instead of the lounge you have access to. You could have accessed the Polaris Lounge because Eva Airlines is Star Alliance carrier and you are flying star alliance long haul. The Polaris Lounges are probably the best domestic business class lounge in the USA.
@@Fluuuv Yes. Any biz class passenger on Star Alliance departing internationally from O'Hare. It's good to take advantage of the best lounges on offer in your partner group, wherever you fly.
Also surprised that Sonny didn't recognize the wrapped pasta dish is a Cheong Fun. It is very common in many parts of Asia including Vietnam and can come with a variety, or no, fillings.
Hey Sonny, not even sure if you are going to read this comment but me (German) and my wife (Taiwanese) would love to see you making a food tour through Taiwan! It’s a beautiful island with incredible food! I know you have been in Taipei several years ago but you barely scratched the tip of the iceberg of the food piramide😁 Nevertheless keep doing the work you do! We enjoy it anyways! Many regards from Germany!
Can’t believe a lounge in Chicago wouldn’t have Chicago-style hot dog fixings (steamed poppyseed bun, neon green relish, mustard, chopped onions and tomatoes, pickle spear, sport peppers and celery salt-NO ketchup).
As a fan of his show, this is how I would sum up his food preferences in a few words: Sonny is super fond of juicy meat and has a peculiar distaste for fresh cucumber. He must be born that way.
Those Swissport Lounge sandwiches said "Bri Inc" on the labels. So I looked up Bri Inc, who operate in Missouri, Kentucky and yes -- Illinois where O'Hare is: "BRI specializes in the application and service of fluid pumping and treatment equipment and serves as a regional distributor of rotating equipment."
This really could be 2 separate series’. One for airline/airline food review, and the other for airport/airport food (and not just the lounge but, all of the airport food that is unique to that airport/city/country) review.
Wow, hope you had a great time in PR (I've lived here for 5y). Looking forward to the video. Eva is great -- since CX has gotten so expensive, most of my HK friends fly Eva and connect in Taipei now.
Thank you for visiting Puerto Rico. I am Puerto Rican and it’s so amazing that people go to our island and experience all the different cultures we have.
China Airlines business class flights to Taiwan from US are the best. Not including the meals on board are exquisite delicious Michelin collaborated meals, the midnight snacks offered are yummy as well. Spicy wontons and cheesy wagyu burgers (big burgers too, not sliders) just for onboard midnight snacks. Beverage and wine options are incomparable. I 've flown EVA a few times including just two months ago from San Francisco to Hong Kong through Taipei. Didn't get the business class treatment as was stuck in coach. I will take the coach EVA treatment over US carriers anyday as the food is much better even there. When I flew EVA back in the 90's when you would go to Taipei they wouldn't let out in the concourse during transit but keep you in a transit lounge similar to the one in Chicago in this visit. Main thing I remember about that was the food was probably worse than what Sonny got in Chicago and they kept the AC going at freezing temperatures.
Hey Sonny! At Chicago O'hare, you could've travelled to the B/C Gates and head to the United Polaris Lounge (as you have EVA Royal Laurel Class ticket), but overall, great video! Happy to see you back in Vietnam.

As a long haul airline pilot I can tell you the issue with your meal from USA to Asia, airlines are restricted to a few companies that provide the catering for the aircraft on the said sector, airlines can only offer requests on how the meal is made, yet the catering companies apply their own restrictions and recipes. American is notoriously bad for the meals it provides. This is by no measure the fault of EVA…

Before the pandemic I flew a lot around the world for my company, business class fortunately. The very best airplane food and the very best lounges where always the Asian ones! Ma favorite lounges on this planet are in Beijing China and Incheon/Seoul South Korea! The nicest flight I had was with a smaller Chinese airline called Hainan Airlines. It was a 10 hour direct flight to Beijing in a small airbus a330. The special thing about that plane was that it’s a pure business class jet. No eco seats on that flight. Because of that the personal as extra good and food perfect since they could use the whole storage for premium stuff. It was better than my business class experiences with Emirates and Lufthansa. Also the flight was only 1500 bucks, which is insanely cheap! My 11 hour Lufthansa flight to Incheon/seoul with Lufthansa was over 5000 and was worse!
UGH, yeah. I worked for swissport out of terminal 5 (international) out of o'hare. By contract for a few airlines. Was hired as a ticket agent. Ended up basically running a daily flight for royal jordanian, supervising ticket desk and the gate, training, load control, weight and balance, you name it. Also did weight/balance for ANA cargo flights. ANA flew me out on business class to Japan for a week of training. Royal jordanian did nothing, and swissport paid me the royal sum of $13.25/hr with no training. With the saftey of the flight in my hands..... so i am not suprised by your experience in the lounge.
At least with EVA out of SFO you get to use the United Polaris Lounge. Congrats on getting a pillow from the Hello Kitty Flight. I hate the breakfasts on EVA. I can't stand congee (or any porridge whether Eastern or Western) and their Western breakfast options are lackluster at best.
I live in Illinois, and that lounge sums us up in so many ways. Boring decor, boring and stale food, and just overall dreary. At the University of Illinois basketball games, they have these "high end" areas that you can pay and exorbitant price for, and they are exactly like that lounge. In other words, rich people in Illinois have no taste and they don't know better. Because they're from Illinois.
I can't imagine being in a plane for over 10 hours, especially with my youngest son. Even though he's 9, he's also severely mentally disabled and is basically a 4-1/2 foot tall toddler. The last time my wife and I took the kids on a plane, our older boy was about 3 or 4 and the youngest was actually a toddler. They both did really well, but we had to sit in the terminal for like 3 hours and just swapped in and out babysitting while the other went to the bar. We were pretty buzzed by the time we got on the plane and made it into a big, drunken game. When we got on the plane, we realized our seats were NOT all together but managed to get my wife sitting with the boys while I traded seats with a stranger to be in the aisle about 3 rows away. The stranger that I swapped seats with got a handful of free booze from me, and we both cracked each other up during the flight because I kept running over to help my wife out. He was literally on the flight to go visit his disabled uncle who was on his last few days, so we bonded over the shared experiences. I also bought him basically one of every mixed cocktail drink that they'd serve us on the plane and noticed that everyone around us was waiting to see what drink looked good so that they could order one. It was wild. People in coach on 4-5 hour flights get DOWN, son. By the time we were descending, people within our 3 rows were high fiving and racing to the bathroom, including a couple on their mid 80s that was unable to stop cracking up the whole time. I figured that I shouldn't get on too many planes again because nothing is really going to top that experience. My dad picked us all up from the airport and was dumbfounded at the fact that I was hugging people at the baggage claim while my wife just laughed about it all. Then he realized I was pretty much HIM in his 20s since I was pretty smashed and making friends everywhere I went lmao
Looking forward to the PR episodes! You're catching up to your buddy Mark on travels. You two are _the_ vloggers now. And all hotdog buns should open from the top. Side splits always fall apart 😂. Mayo all day. With horseradish. Nom.
I’ve done this flight several times. You are spot on with your review. Next time check out some of the other lounges in Taipei as they have better food options.
I just flew business on EVA from Taipei to SF and I agree w/ Sonny that the feel is nice but the vibe is dated, but the Chinese food served was eye-openingly good with a very inventive menu. I initially had envy as I watched my neighbor be served from the Western menu, but that changed pretty quick. It might help if the food is being catered from a kitchen in Asia (like where the beef noodle soup came from) as opposed to Chicago.
As someone of Tuscan descent, there is nothing more annoying than American cooks labeling random stuff as "tuscan" to make it sound fancy. Tuscans don't eat turkey and only recently started eating sandwiches at all.
I have flown EVA about 22 times & always had great experiences. Free upgrades from premium economy to business class. The food is always good & if you want more they feed you as much as you want. The staff is polite & the Women airline hostesses are pretty hot. Comparing to United's dog food & Deltas & Southwests whale watch attendants that are rude. I will always look for EVA when I fly in the states so I don't have to settle for steerage class travel.
you should have opted Emirates over EVA, then the title of your video would have been 5 star luxury travel from Chicago to Taipei on worlds best airline emirates
Recently flew from BOM-CDG and the first meal served (“snack”?) was a 1/2 teaspoon of potato salad, a cold vanilla cupcake adjacent pastry sans frosting, a cold roll (no butter, nothing, just roll) and a mango yogurt. I’m pretty sure someone’s picky toddler chose the menu. This was for premium economy / business, who knows what the folks on the other side of the curtain were served. 😂
Toronto to Taipei Then 4 hours wait And Manila 18hrs total flight time ----- EVA Air The service was fair To good The food was lacking However they had free Buns And cakes at the back of the plane We loaded up on those Note to anyone flying EVA Eat large before traveling
The Swiss lounge at o’hare is a mighty depressing hurricane bunker. It’s a shame. Hello Kitty pillow without a matching blanket will make all the little girl emotions inside a grown man cry.

It's annoying to me and I'm half Scottish
Sun roasted tomatoes make any dish Tuscan in the USA. 😅
Of Tuscan decent but not from Tuscany?? Kinda like the sandwich ?
So you're an American who thinks that you have a special connection to your heritage and pasta noodles being mislabeled bothers you? Okay.
@@metaforcesaber Yes. And if I was Chinese American I would have a problem with tuna casserole being called chow mein. Same thing.
Free upgrades from premium economy to business class. How do you make that happen ?
you should have opted Emirates over EVA, then the title of your video would have been 5 star luxury travel from Chicago to Taipei on worlds best airline emirates
Imagine paying 5k for you upper class seat/bed and a dude next to you is loud continuously making YT review videos....I'm bringing the plane down
Almost sounded like he pulled his teeth out with that salami sandwich LOL.
We need more airline reviews Sonny!! Make it happen or hire me to do so 🙏🙏
Toronto to Taipei Then 4 hours wait And Manila 18hrs total flight time ----- EVA Air The service was fair To good The food was lacking However they had free Buns And cakes at the back of the plane We loaded up on those Note to anyone flying EVA Eat large before traveling
Mayo on hotdog. A true food scholar.
Took EVA/Evergreen to Taiwan. Nice staff and pretty good food.
It’s always fun to watch his episodes 100% thrilling
The Eva Star Alliance Gold lounge in Taipei is much better than whatever lounge you ended up in. :(
fema camp of a lounge got me good
The bite from that second roll. 😂
The Swiss lounge at o’hare is a mighty depressing hurricane bunker. It’s a shame. Hello Kitty pillow without a matching blanket will make all the little girl emotions inside a grown man cry.
It was a $299 ticket until they saw that silly thing on your head!
Lmaoooo the dollar store of lounges😂😂😂
The beginning of the review is hilarious but wholesome lol. Sonny always entertaining NO MATTER WHAT 👍🏽
im flying to the philippines vis business class on eva this december. Im so effing looking forward to spending time im that lounge.
You guys got me there with "guest appearance" of Owen with his signature "Wooooowww"
I too am a fan of mayo on a regular hot dog. great vid again.
Please more of these flight food reviews. 🎉🎉🎉
will you be home for the holidays? The 43rd Hmong new year was November 25-26 at Saint Paul River center 2023. It gets as many as 40,000 visitors from all over. It might be a fun episode best ever food review show next year. Maybe a special hour long with other guest food reviewers that you have worked with.
I'm from chicago and I cant even be mad at all the commentary on ohare. He so right for it XD
Why have I never heard of Mayo on a hot dog lol. It's almost like a warm bologna sandwich 🤣
I absolutely love this guy! He s a great presenter and balanced comedian. 👍😊
Sonny is so cool and funny, I love every review he does !!
