For me, it was went Cinema Sins tore into a few too many movies I didn't like but I knew well enough to think things such as "wait, this is explained though" and "that's pretty much all those characters could do with the information they had"
@@DoomRulz Birdman, like Jeremy, is playing a character (or, rather, characters), an exaggerated personality loosely based on the narrator. Or did you accept that he sometimes looks like a Street Fighter character, has a dark future version and alternate timeline younger versions and references things that haven't came out relative to Past Birdman that have been released now in a hypothetical manner whilst playing the past version.
When Cinemasins started, the sins were things like continuity errors, mistakes, bad acting, and other little things that usually didn't ruin the movie overall. And the videos then were much shorter.
Now, a sin is just any moment that Jeremy has to ask a question about.
He's an arrogant bitch who nitpicks on pathetic " errors " that nobody in their right mind gives a shit about
Yeah, it's why I stopped watching. It was harmless entertaining details at first and then it became "tear into this movie with any possible thought" and just bitter cringe.

I've got friends who bought that whole speech hook line and sinker. Like, dude, you can't do what Joker does in this film without meticulous planning. It's kinda why he's Batman's opposite number.
I would believe this Joker is easily distracted into new plans as he thinks of them and abandons old ones in progress-but there definitely are complex plans that he made. Probably even on those whiteboards with string & arrows

for the first time, there's a mirror in which shows the cops and EMS
rushing to her apartment as she took a whole bottle of downers (xanax)
in a potential suicide attempt; hence the like "you're gonna have to keep me up allllllll night"
there's a lot more to it including Bob
with the opening / early scene showing a burned car crash result where he goes out
to see if a recall is needed. you see the front seat has a morbidly obese man burned to death
and his bodily fat was melted into the chair. the pieces of the shirt that survived the fire somehow
i guess for cinematic purposes, match what bob wears in the movie later on.
there's a LOT. even a website dedicated to the man theories of that movie alone.
that's why i said i'm sure there's a website debating this depiction of the joker and his unknown origins.
as well as many forums / blogs / etc.
It amazes me that after all these years, all these movies, comic books, TV Shows, etc people STILL haven't realized that Joker is an unreliable narrator. Including Jermey Scott.
Joker almost NEVER tells the events that happened in a clear, perfect way and same goes for him as a person. He always tells the story differently every time. He says he has no plan, but obviously does. This is one of the reasons why he is a good villian, as you never know what he may do next.
C'mon people.
That is a point that is essential to "Joker" movie narrative (especially the end).
I always liked the idea that Batman is annoyed at people who think he NEEDS the Joker. He's probably also annoyed at a justice system that keeps tossing Joker into an Asylum instead of a volcano.
Honestly it is inconceivable that Joker is not killed by anyone that's not Batman. Like maybe a guard who has his friend killed during a breakout, a worker who's friend/family was killed by Joker's antics etc. It is higher unlikely anyone would prosecute someone who killed the Joker.
Also, I don't think Batman is annoyed at the Justice system, it's his choice to not kill, if he instead wished the system would kill in his stead, it would be a bit hypocritical imo.
Batman in the Flash: Gotham is the safest city in America now.

I asked my 15 yo if he was familiar with Cinema Sins. He rolled his eyes and said yes. Then I showed him your channel and we both had a hearty laugh at how you took down every sin Jeremy gives movies. You’re doing the lord’s work.
Of all of the things that have happened, this surely was one of them.

The real issue with the bullet fingerprint scene is that there shouldn't be enough, if any, of a fingerprint on the actual bullet to get an ID. The shell casing is what you would get the print off of
But sometimes you touch the actual bullet, while you’re putting it in the clip, or in the barrel of the gun. If the joker was smart enough to pick up his own casings, then the only thing we really could try is getting a partial from the shattered round after re-creating the digital image of it
That's not actually true. There's plenty of magazines where the easiest way to load them is thumbing the rounds in at the (bullet)tip.

I love the two birdmen gimmick in your videos, it's a really cool idea that I think is underappreciated in your eww series.
Wouldn't say underappreciated. Those personas are kinda the reason these are so popular and he refers to them as characters during his streams. They're fairly appreciated. It's okay to just say you like something without saying it's underappreciated or underrated. Those words are so overused these days lol.
I personally wish he had more subs, viewers and support. So I do what I can where I can to spread awareness of this channel to help out. Wouldn't say he "deserves more subs" (which was the trend before underrated). That diminishes the accomplishment. He deserves the success he's earned thus far, and I wish him more on top of it.
Think of it this way, if you worked at a job making X amount of money. X amount was enough to be gainfully employed where your bills are paid, you can vacation and you off on weekends and holidays. You love this job. If I were to then come and reveal I make XY amount on money, and say you're underappreciated and should make more, at surface level it might seem like encouragement, but I've just ruined that job and entire experience for you. Either you gonna ask for a raise and get turned down, or you'll just wonder. Either way, you stew in it and no longer enjoy the job, watching to see why I get more and all that.

Gordon’s comment of “Five dead. Two of them cops.” Could just as easily apply to the officer Joker shot in the hospital. They wouldn’t know if Harvey did that or not, so Gordon might just have assumed.

26:55 I argue it's one of the things people purposely dismiss about Batman/Bruce Wayne. Part of his character (therefore his arsenal) is his lack of scruples to get the job done. He purposely uses a bit of AMORALITY to justify his well-intended efforts at Noble results. Going into business with a known criminal to setup an arrangement where you could get them is par for the course for understanding the LENGTHS Bruce is willing to go.
If Bruce Wayne was in Magic the Gathering, he would be an EASY Black/Blue Planeswalker for so many reasons.

This Cinema Sins video finally made me unsubscribe from them. Specifically the courtroom scene, where Jeremy sinned the fact that the gun was "somehow" brought there. In literally the next second Harvey explains that it got through the detector (and failed to fire) because it was plastic. Which Cinema Sins, obviously, refused to show.

5:09 also it's BATMAN'S BUILDING, it has so many hidden rooms and stuff yes he can get anyplace in the building with no one seeing him.
5:18 but it's not the SAME broadcast, each screen is showing a different angle, and Bruce is using Face recognition software to try to ID the Joker.
8:17 the safer path would have been to use the opposite side of the street that was not blocked and had no cars, then cross back over at the intersection.

that ARMORED SWAT CAR behind the one Dent is in could have rammed the destroyed and damaged firetruck to push it out of the way enough to let the other police pass -- I KNOW FROM 1st hand experience it can take the hit (will not continue on after the hit, but it would take the hit) as I was in one that rammed a Truck cab out of the way for other police cars to pass, being a former police officer and 911 first responder and all. Either way going UNDERGROUND was the worse tactical move in history of this movie it caused them to be in a "box" no way out but forward or back, no left or right turns in a tunnel, I found this scene funny - until I thought "wait the GCPD are corrupt, the driver did it on purpose."

I’m not part of the crowd who thinks The Dark Knight trilogy is peak Live-Action Batman, but it would’ve been really awesome to have seen them explore a Robin story with this tone / these actors

Jeremy and other people like him seem to have this problem with smart villians or villians who plan things. It's like there is something in the back of their heads that say "A villian can't be smart. They can't think, they always have to be dumb for the hero to win." So, when they see a well crafted and excuted plan in front of them, they will think of every excuse in the book to say "It can't work."

But there is. You can know how people think, study a person's movements, pay attention to how people will act, and then work on that notion. You just have to use your brains and the villians who do this are either geniuses, or like Joker who thinks he knows how people act (Please see the boat where he thinks he knows the people would kill each other)
I wonder if the people who think a villian can't be smart do so because they are scared that villlians being smarter than them means they know they couldn't win.

One sin that I'm surprised no one mentioned is at 35:18. That shot of Batman in the Tumbler is reversed. Notice his left hand is on the stick when we know the driver's seat is like every other North American car: on the left, so his right hand should be on it.
