On sin 33, about Marcus shooting the pillow. It was also already stated there is a ban on "doing business" on the Continental grounds. And the reason he didn't snipe the female assassin was because business is not allowed to be done on Continental grounds. If a dead body was found in John's apartment, they could assume John broke the rule and he would be in even more danger, or it could endanger residents of the hotel who didn't break the rules.

@@LilRedDog What's worse, a failed ATTEMPT at killing, or actual killing on the premises?
Let's say Marcus was figured out as the sniper. Marcus had made an attempt, but chose to "walk away" and simply warn John, and he technically didn't cross the line by killing on Continental Grounds. This is another reason he didn't shoot the assassin, because even if John was saved and wasn't accused of killing her, they could trace the bullet to him and HE would've been Excommunicadoed if he chose to kill her.
The movies have shown that if caught ATTEMPTING to kill before the deed is done, you are given a chance to walk away. John was almost killed in JW2 and JW3 when on Continental grounds, and the killer was given the opportunity to cease if they don't want to be Excommunicadoed.

The fact that Keanu had a stuntman but did most of the stunts himself(only stunts done by the stuntman were ones he was forced to not do by the production company) is awesome. Not only that but the stuntman was given a rolex, the cost of which came out of Keanu's pocket. And to top it off, Keanu never went and bragged about ever doing this(and he's done it for several movies). He didn't do it for recognition but as a thank you to those he did it for. Dude's just awesome in every sense of the word and deserved the career revival these movies gave him. Since the first Matrix, his movies weren't all that great. Not his fault, of course. Little does Jermey know; Is that in the Wick series, those outfits are bullet proof. (An yes there is a company that does in fact make bullet proof clothing. Not nearly as stylish as it is shown in John Wick.). This something I've found out through looking up bullet proof clothing.
Plus, Its been shown in the Movies, John has been shot a few different times. Its just been in his suit. Hell there is even a scene where john takes the bullets out. Also also, Its been stated that while it can stop the bullets their still gonna sting and I'm sure any swat or army personal can tell you. Even if the bullet doesn't hit you. Your still gonna feel the impact.

Beginning of John Wick 2 - in reference to cab hitting John's leg(s)... it doesn't. On frame-by-frame, you can see Wick sees car coming, starts pulling the leg closest to car away, palm drops to hood, he puts weight on palm and pulls up both legs, rolling across the hood. But the bumper never actually contacts either leg. The "tuck and roll" is pretty basic combat/gymnastics/parkour maneuver to negate or at least minimize damage from rapidly approaching hard surface. So, very reasonable for a highly trained assassin to pull it off.

I actually like to think that John buried his past weapons and resources of "the life" so deep on his property and made it so hard to get to so that he would be further decentivized to return to it one day. He couldn't just open a safe with a simple code and get to it all, he had to literally break it out of the ground. Maybe he always worried that some day he would get pulled back in, like his life with his wife was just a fleeting moment of peace, like a dream.

Something that is very obvious (and I'm sorry if I'm annoying for simply saying this) but I hate how Jeremy just ignores things that exist for aesthetical purposes, like the rotary phones at the continental or the hitmen in tuxedos. They exist to create a vibe (Sorry for the lack of a better word, I'm kind of dumb) and ambiance for the universe.

I mean it's like Jeremy has never heard of the word 'STYLE' before. why go kill someone in your torn sweatpants and t-shirt when you can go murder someone wearing a badass suit? and the rotary phones, though outdated, look so good and create a fantastic vibe (which is a good word for it!)

I laugh at lot at simple jokes, but CS "jokes" give me physical pain. Jeremy uses sexist bs to make fun of characters like Black Widow or manipulate scenes to create sins, and somehow it makes people laugh, it is really sad how easily people get entertained by this or treat his sins as real critique.

I honestly don't understand Jeremy in the beginning of his John Wick 2 video.
Abram has every right to believe John won't stop. In Abram's mind, he BELIEVES that since John was willing to go to extreme lengths over a car and a puppy, that negotiation won't work. But he's proven wrong by the end.
John initially got his revenge by killing Losef. He was on his way home after the job was done. The ONLY reason he goes after Viggo, is because Viggo told him that he killed Marcus, prompting John to exact his revenge once again. With Losef and Viggo gone, and with no one else left that wronged him, John just wanted to get his car and leave. Jeremy should've noticed how John was immediately trying to leave when he got the car. He didn't go after Abram and tried to leave. Since Abram wasn't involved with either his dog or Marcus, John has no reason to kill him.
But from Abram's perspective, John has every reason to do so, considering he was the uncle of Losef and, brother of Viggo, who both wronged John Wick by taking his car, his friend, and his dog, and by giving away his stolen car to Abram.

Worse than the shaky cam crap of the bourne movies? How? These are long takes of both tactically sound CQB with firearms and martial arts. Jeremy watches all these movies and doesn't know shit about, well, anything.
He must've also missed the part where he shot the pillow to warn john because "conducting business" on Continental grounds is a guaranteed death sentence. Regardless of the reason you conduct that business. He is an old man in a profession where getting to the age he has alive, tells you something about the character. The casting is part of the character development of Dafoe's character. Notice how many other noticeably older assassins exist in this world compared to the younger assassins.
John is a legend, the high table values strength. If he can't survive these assassins (whom none of them are even close to his level) and complete his mission, what good is he to the high table? Strength thrives in adversity. That's the whole fucking premise of the high table.

It seems people treat Jeremy BS sins seriously because they are no expert at things he criticizes.Of course, you don;t have to be expert at everything, but Jeremy fans never heard of research. for example take a look at the scene where John shoots the big guy in the pool in the torso, and then the head. It is obvious that Jeremy never heard of " Mozambique fire drill" Calling nonsense on this scene is like saying that low kick is useless because it won't knock down the opponent. Of course it won't do it but you can use it as setup for head strikes.
