I just want to say this. The gaming community needs to understand that greatness takes time, sometimes. That mindset of "I hope it doesn't take too long" is the literal catalyst for failed games that we KNOW could have been great. Why? Because the developers get forced into releasing prematurely by their publishing overlords....And those Overlords are forever bound to their private investors...People who don't care if your special little game fails or succeeds.... Instead, they see a larger picture of several games with an overall success or failure score. Essentially, if 1 of the 5 games fail, they still make out nicely. They only really needed 2 to succeed. Thear are some elements I like seeing, A Sandbox build system, Group play like guilds, Open world elements. However, where so many fail is in their world crafting and economic setup. Players want to make things and those that are good at it LOVE to do it for others and love it more when they are paid for it. A system like that in SWG, a player run market with a robust and nearly limitless number of choices in creative ability was Epic. Add to that a system that allows them to open their own shops to sell from, or better yet rented stalls in the towns and Citys and you have a great and Lucrative system for all. Adding at least two mostly Noncombat classes (Crafters and Entertainers) that where integral to character advancement was also a brilliant stroke by SWG. However, all this is moot if they miss one importent fact. Open world PVP kills games by creating the same hate and chaos most play games to escape. IMO. Let us do quest to unlock new things like traveling by boat, or small mount etc If you have played games like Valheim you will know what I mean. Since its earth sized earth. I bet the scope of the planet will be like the size of a whole solar system in no mans sky. And think of the water being the empty space and each planet being each continent. That is how they can pull off the scope of a real earth sized earth. Also my guess for a release date has always been August of 2025. I would love to see them do early access even before that, if they want to push the release date back to 2025.

To be honest, while silence is usually a bad sign for other game studios, silence from Hello Games is good. No Man's Sky failed at launch due to overpromising and (severely) underdelivering, partly 'cause they couldn't make their deadline. Now, the only info we get for NMS updates is a cryptic emoji from Sean Murray a few days before a release. It works well, we're excited to know rather than setting expectations about what to get. This trailer currently doesn't promise anything other than that it's a survival experience in a huge free-roam world that has diversity in landscape and mobs. And honestly, I'm kinda excited as is, leaving the rest to be discovered and, if necessary, improved upon. I am obviously gonna wait a few days after launch just in case it's severely broken or something, but other than that I can't wait! I mean, I can, I want them to take as much time as they need, but you get the idea.
My only concern is that they will make it not a truly multiplayer world (e.g. an MMO), but an "optional multiplayer" or something like similar to NMS, which would destroy the whole idea to me, sadly.
@@gamingtonight1526 I think you’re right. I think we’ll get some more updates on with the Worlds II & III updates for NMS. I have a feeling they’ll be adding more stuff from LNF to NMS.
What could be even more crazy, is no man's sky players being able to find that planet, land there, and see Light No Fire players :) like aliens who would visit earth.. Of course Light No Fire players would not be able to leave the planet since they won't have spaceship XD That kind of cross game would be crazy!! Like if you want that as well
And then they would blow the light no fire players and cities up with their mechs, ships and exo vehicles. Just because they can. I dont think this kind of cross play will be possible. Its a cool idea though.
It will more than likely work like No Mans Sky. The area you are in is generated locally on your device. If you are online, then the area you are in is also on a sever, connected to an instance with 20 or 30 some other players, sharing the world with them. As you move about the planet, you will probably phase in and out of instances on a server or servers, shifting between shared spaces. The thing about procedurally generated spaces, is that only the area that you are in and what you are seeing needs to be generated. The whole planet doesn't need to be generated and simulated at all times, that would be impossible on a game of this size. And while technically everyone will be exploring the same world, you won't always be connected to everyone at once. Only the people in your given area of an instance, probably the first 20-30 people that are in the same area, sorted by closeness of region connection. Of course, none of this is official, just educated speculation.
From the predicted requirements apparently the minimum requirements are a 3 core processor and a 470 amd GC and 8gb ram, I myself have a 4 core and 570 amd GC, and 32gb ram plus a ssd. So I would assume that would place me at medium/high settings but if you notice the complexity of characters and certain objects is low poly and cartoonish, that means it'll likely run pretty smooth with players, generally so long as they don't design the game with vram as a heavy requirement, and instead just requires base ram it'll run smooth.
I just don't understand why u need to build a world so huge, how r they going to fill it so it doesn't get so vacuous and boring after 30 hrs. Its not good if its just empty vast mountains water and land. For goid gameplay they has to be points of interests every minute or so otherwise it turns into a drab slog, they should shrink it by a 1000 and fill it instead then it could be special. I think they try to much thinking bigger is better . Skyrim is a perfect size very big but interesting.
I want the same 3 player options that NMS has. Multi...you see players and their builds. Single...you see the builds of players, but not the players. Offline...the world is all yours. I usually play single unless a friend is also on.
I'd much prefer multiplayer. I enjoy playing games with my friends in co-op, and some of my favorite times gaming have been co-op goofing off with them.
Much having the option for both. Knowing HG, its likely going to be the same as NMS where you can have multiplayer on but you still hardly interact with anyone and when you do, they are generally all nice people. You might get really rare greifer but usually they get reported and the problem goes away.
Trust me the game Will be a flop just a 1 week upgrade rush into an empty engame content that can not get you entertained a huge world filled with nothing more than boringness
If they can do it right, and I MEAN DO IT RIGHT!!, THIS WILL BE THE BIGGEST GAME SINCE WORLD OF WARCRAFT EARLY 2000s if they make it like that but their version of it…. It's K.O. A traveling merchant starting my own business, mannn the things they could do with this. START AN INN!! FOR TRAVELING PLAYERS SMH I'M SO HYPE FOR THIS GAME!!!!
It will come out when it comes out. Hype is meaningless.. and when it does, see if the MP works as it should then think about buying it... seeing as MP in NMS has been a complete mess...

Who knows. I assume not but right now there's little info so that remains to be seen
Hi
I just don't understand why u need to build a world so huge, how r they going to fill it so it doesn't get so vacuous and boring after 30 hrs. Its not good if its just empty vast mountains water and land. For goid gameplay they has to be points of interests every minute or so otherwise it turns into a drab slog, they should shrink it by a 1000 and fill it instead then it could be special. I think they try to much thinking bigger is better . Skyrim is a perfect size very big but interesting.
Just expect literally nothing from the trailer to be in the game, and then added in, in a much lesser way like 8 years later lol.
I want it to be as much as a Single Player as possible. I don't do multi player 🤮
I second that.
and there are those of us that want the opposite...so we shall see.
To be honest it will be another boring no man sky
NMS needs pvp
It has pvp. It's just that most people turn it off. I don't like pvp myself, but I do know someone who will attack people with pvp turned on.
First!
Why do content creators always take things so literally 🤣
😡 please don't let whoever had done the animations for NMS do them in LNF, what I'm seeing in the trailer is already worrying
you are the one and only person on the net i have yet to see with your complaint. The animations in NMS are on point.....
@@Only_Some they are "on point" if you haven't seen anything ever WALK
you love the game, which is okay, and thus you are blinded and dishonest
