Correction for Ninja: instead of adding a flat 15% crit chance as it should or adding a lower flat chance like you said, it instead multiplies your crit chance by 15% (or 1.15x) so say a melee weapon with 1x crit multiplier and 10 luck character would have 11.5% crit chance (12% after rounding) instead of 25% as the description would imply. It's not great but can add more than you said. Without magazines the highest crit chance that is affected by multipliers (which I think is all Ninja affects) is 28% and with magazines and Comprehension it's 38%. Ninja would raise these to 32% and 44% respectively after rounding. More than the 1.15% addition you said, but not by much, adding only 4% and 6% at max, a far cry from 15%. Similarly, Certified Tech's description was also wrong, and even worse than you said. It doesn't even add a flat 2.25% crit chance instead of the listed 25%, it only adds 0.25% flat chance. i assume the police pistol bugs are for balance in dead money, i personally used for the majority of dead money, as it is plenty numerous is both the gun itself and the ammo (the recipe is only like 12 chips)
I actually like the fact that Cowboy does not work with the Police Pistol. Since cowboys are outlaws they are basically the opposite of police officers
The speed modifiers like rapid reload and quick draw remind me of speed-cripple; a speedrunning tech where if you cripple your legs and quicksave/load on the same frame, your move speed is increased by a decent percentage. It happens because when you break a leg, it deducts like 60% of your move speed, so when you reload a save on the same frame it will revert your leg to healed AND add the 60% move speed. Maybe something similar happens with those perks, where it adds a set value to your reload or holster speed and then resets to the base value and then subtracts it on a load?
I'm not sure if this is what you meant, but to try to help clarify, Ninja multiplies the player's crit chance by 1.15. Much lower than the stated +15% chance, but still useful if you have good luck and other crit modifiers. Also for In Shining Armor (I don't know the code, but just going off what the wiki says) the perk checks for if the skill type of an enemy's weapon is "Energy" intead of "EnergyWeapons". There's no "Energy" skill type, it's "EnergyWeapons" so the perk does nothing because it's referencing the wrong skill, not an incorrect damage type. As for Certified Tech it unfortunately only adds a flat 0.25% Crit Chance, and due to rounding it'll likely never be helpful... unless maybe you have ninja, then depending on your other modifiers the extra bits could add up to another 1%! Ain't like that now's Weapon AP cost reduction is an unstated effect that only applies outside of VATS, which in vanilla has no uses.
You got to do glitches. My daughter got into new Vegas and I'm trying to show her how to glitch cheat all the way and break it. But first she has to beat it mr house path
The four eyes traite is bugged as well. Iv experienced a helpful bug as it just stacks one extra perception, and then it should whenever switching helmets/eyewear that affects perception only in the hotkey section. It fixes when you take off the equipment or reload the game.
I have no idea if anyone else experiences this it dosent always happen just sometimes bugs after playing the game for several hour's also idk if it's bc I'm on an xbox One
That's how the perk is supposed to work, yes. This guy got it wrong. It doesn't affect just the metal armor, it affects all armor made out of metal. So any power armor, ranger combat armor, etc.
One strong bug I didn't see mentioned is that Light Touch and Laser Commander actually add their crit bonuses additively after normal crit chance is reduced by the weapon. For weapons like the Laser RCW this means with both perks you can hit crits more than 15% of the time. Given that most full-auto weapons have a tiny criit multiplier, this can be a big damage boost.
I’ve never experienced the bug with hearing now, and I take it fairly frequently. The only time it “doesn’t work” In my experience is if you have the skilled trade and that’s because it’s giving you 90% of the experience you would have gained
I'm surprised you didn't mention one more bug with the Quick Draw: if you holster your pistol while running in third person, the pistol will phase into your character's body. Or, well, it does on a female character, at least. It's related to the animation, so it may not occur when using animation replacers.
Here and Now is a noob trap perk it feels. Sure, getting an instant level up sounds nice, but the better use for it is taking it as your very last perk once you hit max level because it will allow you to be one level higher than the cap and that includes an increase to your max HP that leveling up normally gives you. c:
I always just headcanoned with Animal Friend that Fire Geckos are just so feral that it's impossible to sooth them. Since we do see at least one domesticated regular Gecko. Nightstalkers since they are part coyote, that part of their DNA is susceptible.
Fallout New Vegas is one of the few games where despite how buggy and broken it really is, you cant help but fall in love more and more every playthrough
I think the bug with here and now is just how it’s implemented, where instead of just +1 level, it gives you the amount of xp to level up, but if you took skilled (like you should) that xp is reduced by 10% so you only get 90% of a level
I'm doing Richard Harrow from Boardwalk Empire, the WW1 trench fighter, turned hitman. I don't have your editing skills, so please make a video on that build? Revolver, rifle, shotgun. Knife? Explosives?
Some of these bugs are broke yes, but even in context some of them are not bugged like knight in shining armor may seem great but in context and overall its not a great perk, its like "a male in their shoe", its a perk for a very specific enemy in a specific region. Yes the perks that give you extra damage on the opposite gender is specific but that feels like a case of "mid tier specific"
6:24 the Rapid reload ... 3:15 yo lol these i call em punishments for loading saves i have experienced these and thats what makes New Vegas so legendary
this is off topic but why are there so many fucking fire geckoes in that one clip i genuinely couldn’t focus on you because of the absurd amount of fire geckoes its so fucking funny
Actually, it is possible to get In Shining Armour at level 2, you just need to get the science skill book recipe from the Big MT and build enough of them to get your science to 70. It's not viable but it's possible.
I had some questions So living anatomy its bugged in a way to work like bloody mess from specific +5 bonus against humans and ghouls to 5% damage overall ? Also the professional doesn't benefit two handed weapons like the silencer snipers only small guns ?
For your last question- No, The Professional only works on revolvers, pistols, and smgs. Including energy weapons of those types. It doesn't matter if the weapon has a silencer or not.
@@hliasliakopoulos9134 Both of those would work, yes. But again silencers aren't needed so A Light Shining in Darkness, Lucky, Ranger Sequoia, etc, are also solid options. Any weapon of the 3 categories that is good for crits is stronger with this perk
pretty much the only good thing about playing the german version tho since it initially had to be cut to be released (so it's less explicit and gruesome) and took a few years before the uncut version got out officially and even then when you play the uncut version in german it's cut
The +15/25/etc crit chances aren't bugged per se. It's an extra % on top of the base chance, which I'd assume is 1%. 1 +25% isn't 26%, it's 1*1.25, which of course is 1.25% chance for a crit.

Love the video! As fantastic as FONV is, and how impressive of a job the devs did in such a short time, it’s nice to see the spots that show where the game was rushed.
I only knew about like 3 of these this is insane 😭
Started to watch your vids a few days ago, I must say you make some nice Stuff. I even learned a thing or two I didn’t even know yet, what is crazy because I played fnv for thousand hours.😂
The dialogue video of speech check options depending on some skills was very informative and I learned that some perks which are useless in one way or another do have some benefits i didn’t knew about👍🏻
i assume the police pistol bugs are for balance in dead money, i personally used for the majority of dead money, as it is plenty numerous is both the gun itself and the ammo (the recipe is only like 12 chips)
I actually like the fact that Cowboy does not work with the Police Pistol. Since cowboys are outlaws they are basically the opposite of police officers
Cowboys are definitly not outlaws. And if you go by the actual historical mesning of it theyre not even gun fighters.

Friendly reminder to aim for the legs with weapons that shoot in a parabolic arc such as the grenade rifle and fat man.
I imagine the police pistol as a more metropolitan weapon and thus not within the perks scope. Still sure it is just bugge but that my rationale.
It's insane that this video is even this long, a lot more bugs than I thought 😂
Bro how cool is that that you can enjoy games with your kids
@@octaviacoquus8857 all my youngens love to play games. We hop on Minecraft or run some fallout. It's a good time
The four eyes traite is bugged as well. Iv experienced a helpful bug as it just stacks one extra perception, and then it should whenever switching helmets/eyewear that affects perception only in the hotkey section. It fixes when you take off the equipment or reload the game.
I have no idea if anyone else experiences this it dosent always happen just sometimes bugs after playing the game for several hour's also idk if it's bc I'm on an xbox One
the fact that you can make a 20 MINUTE VIDEO on bugged perks is telling
Serious question, what is "That Gun"?
It's the Blade Runner Revolver in Novac.
I did take friend of night but i also have a number of bugfix mods and a weather mod that makes the night very dark lol
About here and now. Not sure if its a bug or not but if you have the skilled trait it doesnt compensate for the negative 10% experience
So what if In Shining Armor worked not just on "Metal Armor" but on any armor made of metal? So stuff like power armor.
Here and now is good on short runs like I use it on my sub 5 hour legion runs in case if I’m short some skill points for Caesar’s surgery
Glad I found your channel again! Idky but I was unsubscribed from you. Glad to see your still making vids man
I’ve never experienced the bug with hearing now, and I take it fairly frequently. The only time it “doesn’t work” In my experience is if you have the skilled trade and that’s because it’s giving you 90% of the experience you would have gained
I think lily's stealth girl perk is also bugged.
That German only bug is one of the funniest bugs I've ever seen
I'm surprised you didn't mention one more bug with the Quick Draw: if you holster your pistol while running in third person, the pistol will phase into your character's body. Or, well, it does on a female character, at least. It's related to the animation, so it may not occur when using animation replacers.
Here and Now is a noob trap perk it feels. Sure, getting an instant level up sounds nice, but the better use for it is taking it as your very last perk once you hit max level because it will allow you to be one level higher than the cap and that includes an increase to your max HP that leveling up normally gives you. c:
....
Even if that worked the level 50 perks are better than 5 levels of no perks
@@molassesman4066 Didn't say it was the best perk to take at 50 just that the best use for Here and Now *itself* is using it at 50. xD
I always just headcanoned with Animal Friend that Fire Geckos are just so feral that it's impossible to sooth them. Since we do see at least one domesticated regular Gecko. Nightstalkers since they are part coyote, that part of their DNA is susceptible.
I think I saw that glitch in another youtubers video his name is nerbit but I forgot what weapon it was
It was the Broad Machete in his Jason run
Thank you very much
Fallout New Vegas is one of the few games where despite how buggy and broken it really is, you cant help but fall in love more and more every playthrough
Is normal that Missfortune yeets the bodies so hard that it feels like she has a hand Cannon?
2 months late but yes
Her gun is the Fus Roh Revolver
@@molassesman4066 XD
aint like that now is meant to lower ap cost by 20% but is bugged not to
Continues to say "I don't know why this happens"... because Todd Howard wills it, obviously.
Hail Todd god
I think the bug with here and now is just how it’s implemented, where instead of just +1 level, it gives you the amount of xp to level up, but if you took skilled (like you should) that xp is reduced by 10% so you only get 90% of a level
Please do a Companion Tier List
This is why you install YUP.
And LStewieAI's tweaks and engine fixes
Miss Fortune feels less buggy the Mysterious Stranger
8:37 Why was there a finish line over there by the giant fire ants again.....? Man fallout... soo bizarre 😂
Cause it's the Ivanpah Race Track!
I'm doing Richard Harrow from Boardwalk Empire, the WW1 trench fighter, turned hitman. I don't have your editing skills, so please make a video on that build? Revolver, rifle, shotgun. Knife? Explosives?
It just works. Thanks todd Howard.
9:15 lmao at "solflock" insteaf of "softlock"
Can you do a similar video on Fallout 3? That would be interesting to see :D
Hey Ron, are the "essential" NV mods such as Yukichigai Unofficial Patch etc. fixing some of these bugs?
Yes, they fix most of these if not all of them.
So... You mean all of them?
Edit. 18:20 Ha! Called it!
Bummed to hear about ninja bit clad to see my build is otherwise safe
6:24 the Rapid reload ... 3:15 yo lol these i call em punishments for loading saves i have experienced these and thats what makes New Vegas so legendary
this is off topic but why are there so many fucking fire geckoes in that one clip i genuinely couldn’t focus on you because of the absurd amount of fire geckoes its so fucking funny
iirc he is using a mod that multiplys enemy spawns
i think the junk rounds perk has bugged my ammo, unless ammo has always had weight to it
Skilled bug makes hardcore quite easy lol
So many bugs for so many perks. That's what happens when Bathesda rushes one of their games.
bethesda didn't develop this game
@@galaxymaster673 But they did produce it, so they did rush Obsidian when making this game. Leading to the results we were given here.
@@inductivegrunt94 that's fair
New Vegas was developed by Obsidian. it's true they were using Bethesda's tools, but still
@@galaxymaster673 Yeah, they didn't develop the game but they're the ones who only gave them 18 months.
I've had the mysterious stranger send enemies under the map and lose their loot. I love him, but he pisses me off
Actually, it is possible to get In Shining Armour at level 2, you just need to get the science skill book recipe from the Big MT and build enough of them to get your science to 70. It's not viable but it's possible.
With the Cowboy Perk, I still complete the challenge if I use a Cowboy Repeater despite not having it
23 minutes of bugged perks is embarrassing honestly 😬
I had some questions
So living anatomy its bugged in a way to work like bloody mess from specific +5 bonus against humans and ghouls to 5% damage overall ?
Also the professional doesn't benefit two handed weapons like the silencer snipers only small guns ?
For your last question- No, The Professional only works on revolvers, pistols, and smgs. Including energy weapons of those types. It doesn't matter if the weapon has a silencer or not.
@@noah1535 So if you want to benefit from this you need guns like sleepytime or pew pew
@@hliasliakopoulos9134 Both of those would work, yes. But again silencers aren't needed so A Light Shining in Darkness, Lucky, Ranger Sequoia, etc, are also solid options. Any weapon of the 3 categories that is good for crits is stronger with this perk
@@noah1535 Im always go for the crits so im gonna try this thanks.
pretty much the only good thing about playing the german version tho since it initially had to be cut to be released (so it's less explicit and gruesome) and took a few years before the uncut version got out officially and even then when you play the uncut version in german it's cut
The +15/25/etc crit chances aren't bugged per se. It's an extra % on top of the base chance, which I'd assume is 1%. 1 +25% isn't 26%, it's 1*1.25, which of course is 1.25% chance for a crit.
I just finished leveling my sneak up exclusively to get Ninja for the bonus crit... what a waste of 80 points on my 1 intelligence build
It just works!
Oh this should be 5 minutes at mo- *sees 20 minute runtime*
nvm....
Yeah that's kind of what I was thinking too.
Hey would you mind giving a tutorial on unlimited mini nuke glitch on pc?
