Zodiac definitely is a brand willing to do something different. Thanks for the review. Thanks also to Exquisite for their support. I online shop them several times a week.
I love the watermelon version, it would be a really fun summer watch/statement piece. Despite the 51mm lug to lug, it wears smaller due to the downward shaping lugs. The distance between spring bars is only 44.4mm!
Hey nice review as usual, I was really interested in Zodiac ceramics (especially because of the price) but the ss core cage will make these a little more shatter prone imo. What’s your opinion?
I honestly don't know how the SS core would affect the durability of the ceramic. I have zero background in manufacturing, I couldn't even guess. But, knowing that ceramic is more fragile than other materials, I would try to be careful with it.
I once had a 90’s Zodiac with a nice silver dial……decent bracelet with a snap lock flip clasp. Quartz movement……I left the screw lock crown open and the rest is history. These more colourful pieces are not my taste but they are interesting. The price is too high, a Luminox diver would be my choice for $1,000.
@@JustBlueFish ….That watch in 1991 or 92, was listed at $700 and I purchased it at reduced cost for $450 Canadian when it was marked down. Almost $500 after tax, I still have the watch….but I’ve never tried having it serviced because the dial was discoloured and because it was a battery replacement style Watch. After the Zodiac I started wearing a Rolex Sea Dweller in around 2004 ……I purchased it for $6,300 …… I’ve had it serviced in 2020…..still keeping great time and looks great.
I purchased on SALE the blue/white Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Ceramic fm ETPs/Joe - a great piece/price. However, check out the San Martin Summer Diver. Maybe not quite a Zodiac, but still a nice alternative. Lastly, you did NOT mention Zodiac was one pf the first ORIGINAL three dive watches, first introduced with the Rolex Sub and Blancpain 5o Fathoms back in 1953.
Thanks, Guy - interesting video as always. 👍 I like the idea of the ceramic case and they sounds like a very decent watch but those colours wouldn't be for me.
Hi Guy, love the zodiac super seawolf, specifically the all steel version. On a different note, who would u trust and recommend in sourcing a watch? I’m in the market for an Omega Seamaster reference 2264.50 or 2254.50 for my first luxury Watch. Thanks again Guy and take care. Steve
I’d always recommend the guys at exquisite timepieces. They have an extensive pre owned selection and network with other dealers so they might be able to find those models. My buddy AB from the watch collecting strategy UA-cam channel sells watches as well. His website is tickingway.com and he might be able to locate those models as well.
Thanks appreciate you checking in. I've had a bunch of health problems over the last several months and I'm doing my best to get back to a place where I can do some work on videos. Hopefully soon, if I'm able.

Id go with the blue version as well. I really like the color combinations zodiac uses in their watches
Those are some seriously cheap and nasty looking watches.
Hi Guy!!!!
Very cool look!

I didn't know about Zodiac back then, what were the prices like in the 90s on a Zodiac watch?

Cool t-shirt Guy 👌 Great review too
Isn't this the watch from the serial killer?
No, but one of the suspects owned the version that is similar to the current 53 Skin reissue.
