- Today we are introducing Zodiac watches into the store. We are proud to be an authorized Zodiac watch retailer, and as so, I'm going to go over a few of these great looking models in today's video.

You forgot to mention that those butterfly clasps are spring loaded! It's a pretty neat feature that you don't see on many bracelets anymore. If your wrist flex too much, instead of pinching, the bracelet clasp expands couple of millimeters.

I own the two tone - something worth pointing out the butterfly clasp is spring loaded. As your wrist expands so does the bracelet! No need for micro adjust in heat and super comfortable. Love this solution. Also Zodiac consider the STP movements in house as they are designed and assembled in the same place as the watches shown here - it's shown in the Zodiac factory tour on UA-cam 🙂....Well done Marc. Great brand addition.

The olympos is gorgeous
Glad Zodiac is getting some much deserved respect. I wish you carried Certina. It's a Swiss brand with a long and distinguished history. Their watches are great, especially among afficionados , but nobody carries them in the states. Many of their models are moderately priced. It might be worth your time to give them a glance if your looking for new brands.

The SSWs have pins and collars. A bit finicky and easy to scratch the bracelet if you rush things. Extremely comfortable when sized right!
Zodiac makes some excellent watches, and the brand has some real history! Love their use of colors! Great to see you carrying them, Marc!

It's good to see Zodiac increasing their retail availability. I like those new 300m divers, and hope they'll come out in more colors. I love that they have so many 40mm models. As you said, it's such a great size. I find 38 too small for a watch with a dive bezel.

I prefer vintage anything. Then have them serviced or repaired if it doesn't work. I found a square mystery dial at a estate sale for 60bux in 1990. It loses a minute a day keep great time. I have worn it occasionally when I don't have a fone around for 30 years. Had it serviced for 250. The watch guy was shocked that i wear it just because of rarity. It's worth a few k but that's not going to keep me from wearing it. I am buying a couple seiko divers to have around for more frequent wear. I won't buy a new zodiac just too attached to the vintage when I can find them. I don't collect watches and I don't wear them because I have blue collar gig. But this zodiac is a really cool to have found.
just watched the Zodiac movie (2007) a few weeks ago, where also appeared the Zodiac watch :-)

I've been looking at Zodiac lately! I'm glad to see LIW is a supplier now. They've been making dive watches longer than Rolex, if I'm not mistaken.

CW's logo is an improvement? I've never seen a logo more polarizing than theirs, other than mine and Phoibos.
@@islandwatch I mean the new twin negative-space crosses, as opposed to their previous one which is just their name in a boring font. Not their old, old one, the "Chr.Ward" one, which I thought was better than the plain text "Christopher Ward" one that came after. But check out their new crosses with the negative space, I think that is an improvement to the "Christopher Ward" ... it seems like they are easing it in.
Anyway, I mean no offense cuz I love your stuff, but your current logo is two marks, the simplest circle with the simplest triangle in it, and not simple in an elegant way, and I just think it doesn't do the quality of the watches justice.
Hey Mark, I'm so pleased someone else shares one of my peeves. It's so annoying not being able to orientate the dial of a watch at night, it makes me think the people who designed the watch don't actually use them so for me it is a deal breaker.

So happy for you! ZODIAC and ORIS have always been in my favorite brands. Even when I was a kid in the early 70's I'd see their ads and I'd crave those 'badass' looking watches. Bold. Different from the conservative brands. Even the ZO-9744 you show here is dressy and understated, but it has design language that sets it apart from every other watch out there. Stunning.

Too difficult to read the date on the Olympos blue model, ZO9711. That watch with the blue/aqua color combo would be awesome in a No Date version. The watch would look much more symmetrical.

Zodiac is a perfect brand for LIW, its a real watch nerd watch brand. I don't think you're going to have any trouble selling them, just like a hypothetical mint green SARBLanderJust. That would sell too. Congrats Marc.

03:31 Are those scales engraved in the back? Didn't see that on the other models. Do they represent anything specific about this model?
Iwas just looking at an Accutron Legacy online, and while the designs are very similar I definitely prefer the Zodiak. How will I make this happen????
Tough decisions
With the world time watch...you mentioned the ability to read three time zones, but I think that's mistaken. Can't you tell all 24 time zones at once if you line the bezel up (an added step)?
