This movie was insane. The music, the way it was shot, the story. All perfect. There won't be another SM movie like this.

@Ethan Hendricks Far from home was god awful. This, the first with Willem and Spider-verse are the best. I didn't mind the first with Tom Holland and Keaton but far from home was reallllllly bad.
Although the film takes inspiration from Spider-Man No More, it reminds me of Superman ll, where the main hero gives up his powers to have a normal live with his true love around the same time when a new villain rises as a major threat.

I remember reading somewhere that he tracked down Peter by checking his phone records at his place and it was the offscreen call that MJ gave Peter to meet her at the cafe that pinpointed Peter's location.

I guess Ock used the same idea that the Terminator used to track down Sarah Connor.
Checking in one's house is indeed the first natural response... checking the recordings is indeed the second.
From 2:14 to 2:25 was my favorite part of this scene. The practical claws were used in such a fantastic way.

Just BØNY If so then why was she mad that Peter didn't appear at her play and call him a great big jerk...if she was already suspecting he was Spidey she would've understand why he didn't show in time he was saving civilians.

Because the peter parker phone interfered and he knew with whom he was going to leave, that was removed from the script; In fact there are several things that removed from the script and would make a little more sense some things of the film that were not clear at the time.
This single scene is better than all scenes in NWH spiderman. Not gonna lie

Imacian he doesn't need him if he kills him then Spider-Man will show up for revenge. If he doesn't kill him Spider-Man will still show up because he's threatening his close friend so either way he wins

It would have been much better if Doc Ock was a villain from the start. I think the whole ''arms making him a bad guy'' was stupid.
It's called layers. Some people actually prefers movies where the characters got layers and depth.
well in my opinion, in Spiderman, it just doesn't work.

but then his redemption at the end would be less impactful. If you are bad to the bone forever, never knew any good, and all you cared about was chaos, mayhem, and power then turning good at the end would be out of character. This way, in theory, he can have a moment of clarity and remember that he's not a bad bloke.
