This is gonna take some practice haha
In my case, it took a couple of years xD I was doing something between a high pitched yell scream and false chord for 7 years until I've changed it but it took so long because I didn't look for a new technique and sticked with the old ways instead. During lessons with my students it usually require 2 or 3 sessions.
First try. My friend said my high false cord scream is better, than my high fry scream :D
False chord just sound beefier imo.
4:56 So that's how metalcore's do their BLEGH
IM DYING HAHAHA
but this is so much helpful man , exactly how I got highs XD

:D
I wish this was here earlier! I had been struggling with false chord highs for awhile! Thank you!
Big thanks for you!!!
Thank you!
Super 💪🔥
nya nya NYAH😺 thank you
Thanks man i really struggle to have a consistent distortion when i go up in pitch
Bro, do you have taught me how to fry scream and false chord scream. Thank you so much.
i cant go that high 😭😭😭 will keep practicing though. thank you 6:24 this song is exactly why i want to be able to do high screams lol
OMG I CAN KINDA DO IT THIS IS SO FUN. THANK YOU
Make sure you stay in your own vocal range, you probably can’t go that high because your vocal break is lower than his and there for your range is lower and pushing too hard to reach or replicate his high can hurt you
@@Ghoulikmusikalright! that makes sense thank you
Started learning highs from your tutorial, today is my first day! Let's see how long it takes for me to make me satisfy with my high screams
Awesome, let me know how it went!
It's day 2 of learning highs and I've opened more high sounds, also added to your sounds my own sounds that I'm comfortable with such as fast "Wow", prolonged "I" vowel with big smile and twang and imitation of a little dog barking sound like chihuahua! @@sibilaextremevocal
I tried Mitch Lucker's high screams, but my articulation doesn't work properly: dry pronunciation goes to more wet
When I go up in pitch it starts to hurt
It's important to discover how much you can increase the pitch or brighten the sound color of your scream without losing the correct (comfortable and good sounding) technique. If you will aim too high too early, it will be probably uncomfortable or won't sound too good.
Only mitch could do it right
He was very good at it, especially during his peak form but there are many other talented screamers.
I swear nobody knows how to false chord high at all
OK xD If you want, I can share with you a recording of one of my students who has a high scream that reminds of a combination of old Suicide Silence and BMTH, and he is very good.
And if you want to tell me I can't do false chord highs, write it directly - no one will get offended, especially that I can easily prove I can do them, if the tutorial with very basic screams isn't enough.
A tutorial isn't for me to show off but to help people learn something useful, starting with a basic sound.
