My 6lb Chihuahua is going to have the Patella surgery and I'll be doing Hydrotherapy for her rehab. She has grade 3 in one leg and grade 4 in the other. It was really helpful to watch someone do it...thank you so much!
my dog will need this eventually. I should start get him used to it by first putting him in an empty tub and give some treats there. Gradually increase the water level over a month. Thank you for the video.
May I suggest placing her very very slowly into the water. So gradual that she hardly notices. Also put your hand under her chest/belly area so that she feels supported but she will still move her legs. You are very patient with her. Good pet mama you are❣️
Hello thank you for sharing. I just received the life jacket for my 17(thought he was 16 but was mistaken😂) year old Yorkie. Going to try it on Gizmo. Seen other videos too. I was thinking of trying to find just the right amount of water where he can swim, but then if I release my grip he'll be standing, in order for him to feel more secure until he knows he is not in danger. He got weak back legs, patella problems.
My dog just had the surgery on the back right knee kneecap was rubbing on bone on one and popping out side. He had a deeper groove plus wire pins to hold in place

Katie did so well! She deserves a million treats!! 🥰
If only we weren't working on taking some weight off those little joints to help the healing process!! But she def got treats for this.

Put a non-slip plastic sheet at bottom. Doggie feel safe when walking on a non-slip surface.
You are very right, thank you so much for the suggestion.
I have that same vest!!! Looking good Katie gurl!
Water safety (and support) is key!! She thanks you for the compliment xo
Hello thanks for posting. How is she now? I use a bath mat so they don't slip. Also rosehip canine active and canine prime and red light therapy.
Lunatic mom here too
How is Katie doing now? I‘ve been contemplating trying this with my dog Roxy (Maltese /York mix) but I just ordered her a life jacket.
I demand a 4 hour minimum all Katie vid!!!
Hi Glad, your Recommendation has been added to the list! Thank you for your suggestions, hoping to feature "a day in Katie's life" soon ;)
😂😂😂
Thank you for this! How often do/ will you have her do it?
Do you see her healing? I’m doing everything for my 7 month old to help him
Curious how this is going. I’m going to try with my dog Kaya who looks so much like Katie! What kind of dog is she?
