For me ( dummy ) , the figuring out when you nailed BiS item, as in how many affixes I'm looking to get on the item out of the list that Maxroll provides per item.
I like the guides but I would also be interested in seeing more content with friends. Also, random goofball stuff like at the end of your group hardcore run where you all went to Lilith to see who died first would be awesome.

I literally just hit 100 (edit, first time since season 0 i believe) a few hours ago.. and I looked up all this info myself.. (there isnt that much tbh) then YTed a bit.. and here he is.. wow.
It's amazing to me that all the while blasting through this game on several different characters at world record speeds this man still understands when to put out a video perfectly timed for the less avid players
a bit slow in my case. I hit 100 like a week a go :P and i really didint play much? the exp u get now is insane. i came here to see what "endgame" is for him ;D in my opinion endgame is still in pathetic state. Basicly after i hit lvl 100 i played for like 3-5h more and i get to 60 pit and i calld ti a day. Nothing more to do ;/
Wow, alright, so, all I was doing was thanking Raxx and complimenting him. Why in the FUCK is everyone so argumentative over literally every single thing these days. Not everything is up for a fucking debate. I don't care how long it took your cousin's mom's uncle's dad's husband to get to level 100 😂 y'all are legitimately insufferable but go off

Excellent guide! My one exemption from salvaging/selling everything that didn't roll 1-3 improved stats, is if I'm looking for a specific item with +ranks. So, if I'm looking for an amulet with + ranks to Pit Fight, I check them all before dumping them.
Hey, thanks Raxx. I left Diablo shortly after their first infamous update. I was kinda lost coming back, but but this video covers most of what I have missed since season 2.
This video will get me through 30 mins of work. Thank you Raxx. Also, I wish I could use GA gear as loot filter but if I don't sell every last piece of yellow and legendary gear that drops, I'd be even more broke.
I took the advise of selling legendaries which aren't an aspect or wardrobe update. Especially after you've played a fair amount and are looking for starred items it is a decent way to keep yourself in money. I always crush the yellow/blue/white at the blacksmith. If I get a duplicate unique I will sell the worse one as those are worth multiple legendaries to the vendor.
Hey Rax ! I appreciate all your guides they help me so much. I have really bad comprehension skills and I always come to you for help because you explain things so well. I dont have to rewind and try and comprehend what's going on. So I want to say thank you it's made my diablo 4 experience super fun 💙 You're really easy to understand, and you don't talk a thousand words a minute. You're a top dude, my guy. I have clients who suffer it worse, and they all love yuh.
Looking forward to Sorcerer build guide. It's very helpful to see where you alter your builds from the Maxroll build guides, why you do, and keep them powerful for end game.
I really really appreciated this guide. I was lost, confused on what to do next and this incredible, straight-to-the-point guide told me everything I needed
I literally learned nothing from this video (already knew all this stuff) and I thoroughly enjoyed watching the whole thing. Best guide maker for ARPGs imo
Perfect video. Need something like this for all games. To often grind to level cap and then give up. This video has given a new meaning to Endgame for me.
I am so happy I found Raxx on YT… I was just copying and pasting builds on my characters until I watched some of his videos. He taught the mechanics that made sense to me and it’s working. Much love ❤❤
Perfect video at the perfect time. Just hit 100, started grinding uniques and realized I’m missing several 925 items without tempering. Thank you Raxx.
I was initially worried that it wouldn’t feel good to lack a substantial seasonal theme, but I’ve enjoyed this season more than anything since my first campaign play through (which I enjoyed a lot).
I was a bit turned away from the pit being the only endgame but I've found the need to do a variety of content to get angelbreath and herbs and and stygians, glyphs, etc. pretty happy with the season. Also the pit is fun to optimize and get better speed farm times and it does make you feel much more powerful as you obtain those upgrades.
The timing of this could not better. Thanks Raxx! More of a deep dive into the pit and the end game bosses would be appreciated, this season is the only time I've even gotten to Max level let alone working towards taking on the uber bosses
I am not the " pinnacle of elite " when it comes to gaming. I truly appreciate your guides and advice. I'm sick of content that is beyond my reach. Thank you, Raxx.
I really enjoyed this video sat here in my chair seeing I've been on diablo everyday ahhh the game got me addicted and watching your videos with a calm patient voice makes them all the better thank you for all the great tips I really appreciate it I stream as well.
Thanks Raxx for putting this together. I had quit in patch 1.1, and haven't been back. Recently, started playing again, and really enjoying the balance improvements and gearing that they've done. It actually feels good now, and these videos are very helpful.
This got me over the stupidest plato. I didn't know that you could temper twice, let alone that you could master work your gear afterwards. Thanks a lot!
This is the exact video I was looking for today. My wife and I are going to hit level 100 and I was contemplating how to better max out our characters' potential(s). I was leaning toward the boss grind but I did not understand some of the other in-game potential. Thanks!
Rax, just so you are aware this is a great tip video for Beginners. I have been grinding the game non-stop since release so I pretty much already know all this information and the ins and outs of the game. But if I was new to the game or even the franchise itself, I’d say this video was very helpful and by far the most easy to understand. I think people will get a more better understanding of how the ‘endgame’ works and how you need to exactly progress with your character. You got my like👍
Great Video, this is so helpful. I’m a casual player but this video helps me out a lot and I always look forward to watch you videos as you make them 🤙🏾
Excellent video, so many players struggle with this. I think a lot of players are struggling specifically with how to path through the bosses (by using the mats)🎉
Before i started running the pit and masterwork my gear I did not understand why everyone was having problems with gold! Now, and I only started after the patches, I do understand! Thank you for another amazing video Raxx! And thumbs up to Blizzard for turning D4 around! I hope they continue this way and don't get tracked sideways again.
Hey dude, I play a barb main and got to lvl 100 done heaps of the end game. Managed to get andys visage and tyreals might back to back. Made a rouge for the hell of it, first new character ive ever played. Man those uber items make a huge difference with speed farming and levelling! Its insane! Anyway just wanted to say that i really enjoy your vids and to keep up the content, its awesome 😎🔥🏆🙏
always such solid content bro. so glad i found your channel when i decided to give d4 a second chance for season 4. might not have quit playing after season 1 if i knew about you, never even got anyone to lvl 100 lol
I've been in the endgame for a while and now I am looking for how to maximize damage for certain builds. I don't have a ton of time with 3 kids and a full time job but the "buckets" can be confusing. my current build is pen shot max lucky chance and max crit strike which i have built from using chatGPT and exporting excel files. But honestly, a quick guide that covers damage modifiers and what you should go for as you max out your build would be huge. thanks for all you do man really enjoy the content now for years. (edit: currently hit for 2-4 million damage consistently up to 6-9 million randomly and can clear pit level 35 fairly easily. just looking for that next "boost" other than ubers.) I think alot of us are in this bucket seeing as I am fairly "casual" and not playing hardcore atm. Edit again: I am maxed out on my resistances 70 across the board.
Awsome guide. I’ve been diving in and out and this is the first season I’m dinged 100% in fact I know have two. Now I have the knowledge to build my character and build after 100 as I was still miffed at what to do and what to target
"It's honestly a huge grind, I don't know if there's a single person in the world that has a character that's just...fully perfect everywhere." Boy am I glad you said this. Which underscores a great deal about the discussion surrounding tempering. I'm of the camp that you should be able to reset tempering. Like Master working, it should cost gold, and like Master working, it should be steep. No new items needed, just another thing straining your already limited resources. No one shits themselves with rage if some dudes girlfriend plays an hour a week but somehow fell blindly into a perfect Shako. No one has anything to say about resetting master working. But when tempering, suddenly you're just a filthy casual that wants everything handed to you if you don't want to brick a otherwise ridiculously well rolled legendary. Tempering doesn't give me a dopamine hit. It's a source of anxiety. If I don't hit what I'm looking for within two rolls, I'm almost certain the item is going to brick. It's relief I feel when I get two rolls Im looking for, not glee, to say fucking nothing about the straw man of perfect tempers. You already went through multiple levels of RNG just to get to tempering. Did the item drop? Did it have good affixes? Are those affixes greater? Those are already some fairly steep mountains to climb. Most of the time when I see a GA, it's something obnoxious like life on hit. In fact, the only GAs I have equipped anywhere are common like main stat or health. Enter tempering, and you have a highly sought after skill bonus on neck or gloves. NOW you have to hope to God you just get reasonable tempers, or youre losing an enormous amount of build potential. Not everyone is playing hours a day. Before S4, a lot of people weren't even making it to 100. To top it all off, as of August, your perfectly rolled item is worthless anyway when everyone resets for the next season. There's a three month maximum shelf life on the item, unlike the oft cited D2, where your character is your character forever, and not subject to the whims of seasons or rebalancing. In short, tempers should allow rerolls. It's a stupid and arbitrary decision to have items brick midway through the upgrade process, and if the sweatiest still don't have perfect characters, we don't have to worry about the majority of the playerbase "getting bored" because they have amazing gear. They'll get bored for a ton of other reasons instead.
@@CokeZorro If that was a by itself thing then perhaps I could agree but as stated by the OP and I also posted something along this vein when you stack RNG upon RNG upon RNG upon RNG it becomes stupid. At least with masterworking you can endure a cost and reset it. The OP is absolutely right in that tempering isn't anything more than anxiety laden as you wait to see if the stupid RNG is going to brick a new toy and make it worthless other than to a vendor.
Hey Raxx, thank you as always. It is actually nice because I already did all of the things you mention with my level 100 char (thanks to you and maxxroll). So it was really nice to have this "checklist" and be like: Yep, yep, yep, did that! Ideas for a future guide: I think as you did not mention "rerolling stats" specifically, this could be another video. Wudijo already did one where he said that it is most of the times not efficient to re-roll for a "+4 for skill X" because the pool of available options is much bigger and also the game targets more common stats with a higher chance (+life, +life/sec ...) And I feel I spent way too much gold on rerolling when it would be "wiser" to play more and get that "+4 on skill X" naturally on an item and then reroll "+life" or something. Massive gold-sink that is!
I came back to the game few days ago, because I saw a random video of yours that got me playing again and I must say the overall experience is much better and fun to play. Compared to launch where I left with big disappointment. I really like the addition of the pit , it reminds me of the old days of D3. This power creep is great you can play anything you like.
Your comments about how most “experts” tell you how to level up are spot on. Too many just assume you know the details….when we all know that the devil is in the details and we need guidance!!!!
Actually insane that there are no in game resources for the end game bosses. As a new player, the flavor text on the numerous boss materials don't give you enough information. So, thank you!
I am currently farming Wolves Honor for Uber Uniques and i get so many pit crafting materials. I masterworked my Shaco to level 9 instantly without even visiting the pit once :)
Bro, you always have such timely clips. JUst when I need to know something, you'll answer it... Love watching you. Always super useful content. Mad thanks!!!
Thank you so much for this guide man! I just hit 100 yesterday with my first char and I kinda knew a little bit what to do but you nailed all the info straight up. This made me even more excited for endgame. Insta subbed :)
Hey Raxx! Phenomenal video again, you are always my go-to whenever I need information or guidance on Diablo. There's 1 thing that still confuses me about the game and it's how all the multiplicative damage works. You mentionned in a video about your dust devil barbarian something about mixing up the damage source you get from master working (close, distant, flat or even while berserking damage). I dont quite get that... I was just stacking the most falt bonus damage affixes I could with maybe 1 on distant and close thinking it was the way to go. If you could maybe make some informative videos on how multiplicative damage works in D4 or just shed some light on how to maximize damage for very late end game builds, i'm sure many could benefit from it. I sure would!
I haven't played a season of anything since a Destiny 2 season 5 years ago, D4 sucked me in. Amazing guide for first time D4 players, had no idea about the individual bosses
Thanks for the video Raxx. D4 S4 is a lot of fun. I have more hours in S4 than I have in S0 - S3 combined. One thing that really drives me insane right now is the absurd amount of doors we have to click on to open in some of the NMDs. There are some areas where it's literally 3 doors in a row very close to each other... I really wish they would just remove doors in all of the dungeons.
Raxx great video as always. I will say again we need something other than running Pit over and over and over... Getting masterworking material is such grind (not fun). Hopefully the devs will give us more materials per run like they did in Nightmare dungeons. But the real end game activities should be in the open world so we can play with others while doing it. Game is getting better, but we still have a ways to go. 😈
I jumped back into D4 because of you Raxx for this season and I must say I am having a blast on my Necromancer. I played Season 1&2 as a rogue, and I just felt my soul ripped in half when they made it unplayable. Honestly if Blizzard takes your suggestions for "What is Fun" and what is "Life Affirming" while I play then I will keep playing
Tempering tip: go for the 2nd most important temper first and settle for 2nd best or 1st best. Then go to most important temper and nail it. Then go back to other temper if you have enough rolls left. That way you end up w a usable item, even if not perfect to use, until you farm another item and try again.
I actually laughed out loud when the first boss you mention is Zir, specifically for the Fractured Winterglass, because I did like 20 runs of him on my sorc and finally saw that last night before bed.
I agree, this season is fun and I'm playing it much longer than previous one. wrt. Raxx asking what video to make - I'm bit of an idiot when it comes to playing end game, so perhaps if others agree - a video to help me not suck and be able to do pit higher than 73 which I currently barely do and help me how to kill tormented version of Duriel solo - such video I would appreciate. Either way, thanks Raxx for your content. I like it!
Another really amazing and very easy to understand video! Raxx, you are great man! I always Watch your streams everyday, you're always helpful and positive to help people and the healthy of the game itself! Keep it up the amazing work you do!!! Thumbs up all the way!!!
Thanks for the explanatory video. Learned some things and also assured myself that I was doing the right things too. Would be curious to hear opinions on blocking items and master working, etc.
There is a character build challenge that I would like to do myself, because I get bored with just one build easily. I would love to see someone who is highly knowledgeable about the game make a build like that as well. The main rules are: Use 1 skill of each tier. So, on a Sorcerer, have 1 basic, core, defensive, conjuration, mastery and ultimate skill. Only equip gear that is usable in all types of builds, so we can change skills without having to change gear. That goes for Tempering as well. Only put paragon points in places that are usable in all types of builds. We can swap in different glyphs, but can't take a Legendary node that boosts Crackling Lightning Damage, because we might not always want to use Lightning spells. We can swap in uniques, as long as the legendary gear is versatile. We can also swap in any codex powers that we would like, since they can be changed at any time. That is pretty much it. The goal is to make a highly versatile affix and paragon setup.
I used to really enjoy hitting up a legion event. Hanging around the campfire waiting could actually be entertaining if you ran into fun people. Many a dance party has been had around the legion campfire. Also it's the only way to join up with other people aside from partying up. Now they are dead. They take like 1-2 minutes and nobody is really thrilled about being there so everyone just stands around like a bunch of fuddy duddies. Even when everyone had blood glyphs they weren't this bad.
because the power creep, that wasn't supposed to happen in this game, makes everything except uber bosses (even then...) totally brain dead, point and click die and thus mega boring. world bosses? Don't even have time to see them spawn, boom dead. legion events? same shit. Blizzard still hasn't learn that power creep equals bad and does nothing except killing all the other end game activities. I consider sorc the most balanced of all classes just because they have a lot of fun builds that are not game breaking. P.S.: don't expect blizz to fix this ever, they don't even understand how that is a problem to begin with.
What other guides would you like me to make?
For me ( dummy ) , the figuring out when you nailed BiS item, as in how many affixes I'm looking to get on the item out of the list that Maxroll provides per item.

Tempering is gambling , accept it and move on
@@CokeZorro no.
Obols are gambling. That's the explicit intent. And it's still less punitive than tempering.
Beg more street rat
@@CokeZorro If that was a by itself thing then perhaps I could agree but as stated by the OP and I also posted something along this vein when you stack RNG upon RNG upon RNG upon RNG it becomes stupid. At least with masterworking you can endure a cost and reset it. The OP is absolutely right in that tempering isn't anything more than anxiety laden as you wait to see if the stupid RNG is going to brick a new toy and make it worthless other than to a vendor.
The amount of near perfect 3GAs I’ve lost because of shit RNG is way too high
Thank you again, Raxx! I needed to hear this lesson. It really helped me understanding the crafting system better.
Wudijo already did one where he said that it is most of the times not efficient to re-roll for a "+4 for skill X" because the pool of available options is much bigger and also the game targets more common stats with a higher chance (+life, +life/sec ...)
And I feel I spent way too much gold on rerolling when it would be "wiser" to play more and get that "+4 on skill X" naturally on an item and then reroll "+life" or something. Massive gold-sink that is!
out of all the videos i have watched this helps the most thank you
I came back to the game few days ago, because I saw a random video of yours that got me playing again and I must say the overall experience is much better and fun to play.
Great video dude. I was watching it on my 2nd screen as my HC frozen orb sorc got one shot :')
Very helpful Vid. Thank You. I have finally got a toon to lvl 100. This is the best season so far.
That paragon expanding answered a lot of questions thank you
Some really useful stuff in here. Ive been lvl 100 and grinding for a while but still learned a few things
Haven’t played since season 1 and your videos are always helpful and informative. Thank you and continue the great work!
Bro, you always have such timely clips. JUst when I need to know something, you'll answer it... Love watching you. Always super useful content. Mad thanks!!!
I came back this season after not playing since before the 1st one and this is very helpful, ty :)
Raxx I could listen to you all fkn day bro. Been watching you for like half my life.
Thank you so much for this guide man! I just hit 100 yesterday with my first char and I kinda knew a little bit what to do but you nailed all the info straight up. This made me even more excited for endgame. Insta subbed :)
Been looking for all that info left and right and you really did it right. Thanks
JC. I didn't realize there was so much more. I just got back into D4. Excited to know there's some cool goals to reach.
Thank you very much for all the info, I was a little lost with the things that you can do in endgame and you were very helpful.
I was just looking for guides today about farming GA legendaries. Perfect timing Rax
Honestly if Blizzard takes your suggestions for "What is Fun" and what is "Life Affirming" while I play then I will keep playing
great video Raxx, thanks for all your work !
Thank you sir! Perfect timing as I just hit 100 yesterday
This was the first season I’ve truly enjoyed making an alt - so something is working
Bro thank you so much for this. I’ve tapered the season because idk what to do with these pink items and living steel
I have watched this video 2x already its that good. Great Job Raxx!!!!
I may be late to the party saying this, but after playing Last Epoch I’m not gonna complain about D4 items getting bricked.
Tempering tip: go for the 2nd most important temper first and settle for 2nd best or 1st best. Then go to most important temper and nail it. Then go back to other temper if you have enough rolls left. That way you end up w a usable item, even if not perfect to use, until you farm another item and try again.
Don’t forget you can reroll affixes! It’s not like I forget that was still possible for the first 80 levels or anything.
I actually laughed out loud when the first boss you mention is Zir, specifically for the Fractured Winterglass, because I did like 20 runs of him on my sorc and finally saw that last night before bed.
Good video - just jumping back in after a long break. Thanks
Would love a guide for the Uber boss's ... I attempted an uber boss and got destroyed. Thanks for all your great content!
Raxx thanks for the videos. I like to play my own way, but these guides are really good and i love learning new things!
“I hope this was helpful” it was very very helpful. Thank you so much! - your casual 30+ year old Diablo player
As said in The Mandalorian, Raxx knowledge IS THE WAY.
Period.
I like it!
Great video, and in my case, very timely. Thank you for this.
Another really amazing and very easy to understand video! Raxx, you are great man! I always Watch your streams everyday, you're always helpful and positive to help people and the healthy of the game itself! Keep it up the amazing work you do!!! Thumbs up all the way!!!
1st time watching a video of yours and it’s great.
Thank you!
Great video again Raxx. Thanks for it. I am right at this point!
Thanks for the explanatory video. Learned some things and also assured myself that I was doing the right things too. Would be curious to hear opinions on blocking items and master working, etc.
Oh i almost forgot to tell you this time !
Cangratz on the 300K subs RAXX :)
I've been following you for a looong time ! Happy for you ! :D
Thanks for turning me straight Raxx, liked and subbed
How does one become straight after being gay ? 🫣😆
Great video for someone returning for the new gear system. Should hit 100 soon and this gives me milestones to look ahead toward.
There is a character build challenge that I would like to do myself, because I get bored with just one build easily. I would love to see someone who is highly knowledgeable about the game make a build like that as well.
The main rules are:
Use 1 skill of each tier.
Watch 30 minutes of Rax video = Save hours (crucial for casuals enjoying the game)
My end game is to get all of the aspects maxed for my class. Kinda my own "holy grail" challenge.
