  • Ensaymada is a sweet dough topped with butter cream and grated cheese. One of the most popular and super delicious breads from the Philippines.
    Recipe
    Dough starter or fermented dough
    100g butter
    100g bread flour
    2tbsp milk
    7g instant dry yeast
    Ensaymada dough
    400g flour
    80g sugar
    70g unsalted butter
    7g yeast
    5g bread improver
    5g salt
    1pc egg
    150ml water
    Toppings
    80g butter
    80ml condensed milk
    2tbsp icing sugar
    Grated cheese
    Conversion to cups and tbsp
    Recipe
    Dough starter or fermented dough
    1/2 cup - butter
    2/3 cup - bread flour
    2tbsp milk
    2 tsp - instant dry yeast
    Ensaymada dough
    3 1/4 - flour
    3/8 cup - sugar
    1/3 cup- unsalted butter
    2tsp -yeast
    3/4 -tbsp bread improver
    1tsp -salt
    1pc egg
    2/3 cups -water
    Toppings
    1/3 cup butter
    1/3cup condensed milk
    2tbsp icing sugar

    Wow! I've been baking for years and im not fond of baking bread, the reason is I couldn't get the perfect softness. Been searchin bread recipes and finally found it! From the very beginning of the video, I was not only hoping but I felt that this is "the one" ive been searchin for. I just made it today and cream cheese as the toppings so my sister could eat it.       I have learned fr other chef is 2 tbsp all purpose flour and 1/4 cup water. Lutuin in a lower heat until maging paste texture sya. Good for 3 cups of flour na yan.

      Kpag Po sourdough ang gagawin ok Po ng mas matagal Peru kapag sweet dough kgaya ng ensaymada umaasim Po kaya Hindi advisable.

    Bakit po kaya ung gawa ko hindi umaalsa?
    Nakalagay din po sa muffin pan kaso pag babake na bagsak po siya, 30grams din po.
    nagiging size lang po siya ng japanese cake na tig 5-7pesos. . pero masarap po yung bread and malambot. bothered lang po ako sa size. .

      Use instant yeast Po . Then try niyo idissolve muna bago ihalo sa masa . And gumamit din Po kayo ng bread improver. Check yeast expiration Po . Then store niyo Po yeast niyo sa sealed container.

    Hello po, nag try po ako gumawa nito using T55 flour. Soft ang bread ng mainit pa, pero tumigas na po ang bread after an hour. Okay po bang gamitin ang T55? Or T45 po? Salamat

      Ung pong texture ng dough ko hindi po kagayan ng texture ng dough nyo sa video tutorial. Flaky po ang dough ko, medyo nag smooth (slight) lang po ng nilagay ko ang fermented dough.

      Margarine po kase mas maalat. Dapat Po ung unsalted butter pla. Lard pwede Po substitute

      3days Po (black n gold ) unsalted butter Po . Pwede Po kayo gumamit ng ibang brand Po. Ang alam ko Wala Pong brand na ganito jan sa plipinas. Dairy cream brand pwede niyo Po gamitin .

    Brod medyo confuse ako doon sa dough using bread flour ?. Then sa 2nd part meron kang flour pero you did not mention kung anong flour yung ginamit mo at a lot of work pala yung ensaymada mo mahirap maghanap ng mga ibang ingredients pag nasa ibang bansa can you simplify your recipes pls !     Sana by cups instead of by grams yung measurement para hindi na kailangan tumingin pa sa google ng conversion. But nice recipe to try on.
