Everything you have said in your video about how historic decks should not just sit at museums, and should be used, - is exactly how I feel!
Loved your walkthrough, Kelly! I'm a fan of William and Kristzin, too! And while I am waiting for my copy, which is stuck in the US, to see your excitement about your new little Noblet was such a treat for me! Thank you! xx
Thank you so much for this side-by-side. I love my Flornoy Noblet, but I love the variations on this one as well. I agree with you about the skin tones. I am really looking forward to having this in my hands and playing with it. It may be my travel deck in the future.
Hello Kelly, always wait for your review before committing, specially a historical deck! ty 💖
I love the Flornoy so much! 💜
Love the Fool card with the cat attacking the “man bits” 😂
The Noblet is my “soul” deck, I have 2 copies of the Flornoy… one is my daily carry deck and I have a back up copy because I can’t imagine having something happen and not having it anymore! I was very hesitant in backing this because I just feel the Flornoy is so perfect for me… but I did end up going for it. I’m really glad they’re going to lighten up some of those colors (especially the Salmon because when it was used in the flesh areas it really bothered me…) I don’t love the card stock in the Conver (I’ve just gotten so used to thicker card stock) but I think the fact that this deck is so much smaller I think it will work better. I don’t know if it’ll replace my Flornoy as my daily carry deck so we’ll see… LOL One thing I do hope moving forward is that the company explores historical decks that aren’t already so readily available and expands out to bring some rarer historical decks into the convention.
Hopefully so, I think it might be harder to get access to originals on some of those historical decks? Not sure but here's hoping with you! I do agree, though, that this being such a lovely small deck, the thinner cardstock is perfect!
oh, have you seen the pitisci deck?
Nooo, going to check it out!
i don't like the artwork/aesthetic historical "primary" decks for any of the acknowledged systems. when i found a marseille deck that has artwork i love, my tarot world was transformed dramatically.
