Tabitha is the founder, owner of Glass by Tabitha - Tabitha's Glass Emporium, an English lady based in Bribir in Croatia, she has come up with an unique way to make murrine creating intricate designs like millefiori but using a vitrigraph kiln therefor costing a fraction of the price.

Don’t put yourself down. Your work is beautiful. I would never know you only have two years experience in glass.
I really admire you Tabitha, only two years into glass, and look at you! Moving to Croatia, opening a shop, making lovely things, sellng murrine all over the world (some to me, I'm waiting for delivery!), doing videos - your energy and enthusiasm is WONDERFUL.
jackie simmonds thank you Jackie, your work is so inspiring totally beautiful
Thank you so much for the work you share. I am blown away with everything I see on your channel. I watch it religiously and always find inspiration and a lot of information.
Tabitha, your creativity is amazing. I too admire you! Several life changes and you make time to share your inspiration with the rest of us! I have been doing fused glass for about 7 years and have never found the fun kind of projects you have here to be as quick as initially described. However, watching you do them I can see how fun, simple, quick and beautiful they truly are. I am looking forward to doing something similar, thank you again! :-)
Really fine work and so beautiful! Thank you so much for the tutorial!
Now that's my kind of cooking show! I have long admired your Poppy series. Thank you so much for sharing, Tabitha; well presented, lovely.
You are welcome
I just LOVE your technique with having fun and not stressing bout designs.. so much freedom in it... i subscribed and look forward to more videos.. Happy Creating Tabitha
Absolutely gorgeous. I’m taking my first glass fusing lesson tomorrow and am so excited. Will be making tea lights apparently, but I think your poppy pieces are beautiful so I may have to do some more projects. Thank you for sharing.
Great job, fun looking project. Thank you!
Love these I have yet to fire up my kiln hoping I can learn on my own, just getting ideas
Love the abstract poppy design. I might have to set up my moms kiln and do California wildflower poppy’s. I’ve painted them on kindness rocks but to see on glass would be bringing them to such another level. I love your work.
Wonderful! Please, more frit and murrini projects!!!
Greetings Tabitha,
I have just discovered you. Wow!
I am a novice of three years since I retired from work. Glass is just a marvellous medium.
I thoroughly enjoyed your Poppy Murrine Projects.
Thank you!
Jane Mackay glad you liked it.
Tabitha, I absolutely love your videos! I'm at novice fused glass hobbiest (is that a word?) and I love the ideas you provide and the instruction. I would have never believed you only have 2 years experience working with glass if you had not told us so. Thank you for these fantastic and informative videos!
So pretty really love the art
You definitely have a dream job!! Beautiful.
Love your work and your incredible explanations to detail - I'm going to give it a try - I too love Murano glass but so far have just used it in pendants.
Thanks for the lesson! Lovely!
Lovely work thank you for sharing this with us. I am new to glass and will definitly try these lovely ideas. Thank you
sally beales thank you
Lovely work and not difficult at all. Thanks for sharing. I have been a jewelry artist for several years now but am slowly branching into larger pieces. Thank you for the fresh design ideas. Now I need to order more powder, vitreoegraph and murinni lol.

I happen to run across your u-Tube video and found it to be just marvelous. Well done! Question....do you have a video on how you make your own stringers that I could learn from, I would so enjoy.
Jami Lockhart I don’t have a video on how I make my stringers, I do them in my vitrigraph kiln and sell them in my shop www.glassbytabitha.com
Beautifull. Thanks
I just want to ask. What kind of glass you use, I guess Coe 96. ?
Adela, Guatemala.
Adela Segura I’m using Bullseye 3mm as a base and then other Bullseye products on top
I love your relaxed, practical approach to glass. Thank you for sharing your videos. Did you make your poppies or purchase them as millefiore?
Karen Szczytko hi, I make the poppies I use and sell them, check out my website glassbytabitha.com/product-category/tabithas-glass-emporium-90coe/ best wishes and thanks for liking my videos 😊
THank you for sharing Tabitha. I love your poppies. Are all these just one layer with the murrini and stringers on top? It looks like you only use 90. Unfortunately our area doesn't sell 90, 96 is the most popular . I would have loved to purchase your murrini.
Denise Presland sorry for the slow response, yes it’s one layer of 3mm glass. I’m not as yet making 96 murrine but I’m not ruling it out in the future. I hope you can still use something from the tutorial
Hi! Can you melt glass down to the point you can pour it into a lost wax cast? Thanks!
yes
Lovelyy
Hi, I'm trying to find the slumping schedule for the wave, I have a schedule for 6mm glass but will that be too hot/ too long. have I missed it ?
Sorry for the slow response if you can email me at info@glassbytabitha.com it easier to respond there.
I enjoy your creativity. Beautiful projects. Can you tell where to get the bent stringers or do you do those yourself?
Hi, I make them to us and sell www.glassbytabitha.com, check it out, I have loads of cool stuff for using in fusing, I ship all over the world at very reasonable rates and have 90COE bullseye glass, 96COE and even some float compatible products.
Tabitha. Wish mold did you used for the original bowl? And what are the measurements & name. Thank you and please..
Enrique Guzman sorry for the delay, I’ll check and get back to you
Are you using the glass that was from the lantern, or is it special glass?
Tracy Giles no, I don’t work with float glass, if I did I could have used it and compatible products but I use all Bullseye glass, so I start by cutting 3mm bullseye for the base, the same size as the original glass
Where do you get your glass 'stringers'. I have used 'spahgetti' glass but they are bone straight . Great video. You have such a flair!
Em - I make and sell glass stringers that are not straight, check out my website www.glassbytabitha.com
@@TabithasGlassEmporium Thanks for your response and the link. All the best with your business.
beautiful! :) i wonder where to get that glas you are using for gras?
mel I make it and sell it www.glassbytabitha.com
@@TabithasGlassEmporium Thank you, maybe i will order some ;)
Love your video. Are you using a piece of 6mm glass or 3mm glass for the base?
Pauline Masuhr 3mm bade Glass
Thank you. I saw another post that you then top it with another piece of 3mm. I like your method of not being so perfect!
what do you do with all the powder you don't reclaim ?
Cheryl White normally I would never do that, all in the name of sharing, I’m ashamed to admit they went in the bin 😖
What would a reactive glass do?
Hi love this video ,but I can’t see the firing ,could you please share it with me ...Joyce
Are the poppy pieces already made with a center?
Em - yes I pull the murrine with a center like a poppy, check out the link I sent before
Where would someone purchase the nonreactive powder glass products you are using? Thanks so much.
Sandy Condon where are you based?

hi Tabitha, could you do a tutorial on a flowery draped candle holder? I cannot attach picture here, can I email it to you? I really want to do that for my nan, and I need a little help, and also you might have some of the flowers I need there. thanks,
Kraft Room send it to me on email info@glassbytabitha.com
did you glue the legs onto the bowl?
No I use something called bumper, little plastic half rounds that sick and make thing with round bottoms steady
♥ ♥ ♥
Your work is lovely. Are these pieces food safe?
Hi Linda, unfortunately we can not say it is food safe because we would have to test all the murrine to check and it is just to many products to do so for us.
How do you get it to shine on the bottom when slummping?
Hi Annette, it is quite hard to do, if the glass doesn't touch the mold it should stay shiny
@@TabithasGlassEmporium Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!

Kraft Room I make them and sell them, I ship worldwide at very reasonable rates. Www.glassbytabitha.com
