Great video and thank you for sharing your th0oughts and time out....AND a 10 Kg. pack is good for mil surplus. We(I now) train with a 35 Kg. pack. BTW the NI Patrol Pack is the dogs dangling bits. Take care, Helen and Terri with Robyn.
Thank you . Yes , its mostly surplus but all military type kit . Hopingbto get out with that gear at some point . Take care and thank you for watching 👌🏕
Nice one Mark, it's always good to have a little nosey around someone else's kit! Gotta love the mil-surp kit too. Yes it's heavier, but it offers that durability and peace of mind that you just don't get with the more expensive ultra-light kit 👍
Thanks mate . Yes didn't really show it well. Loads of vids about on it though. Handu for a tarp and bivvy when the biters are about. Thanks for watching mate. Take care 👍🏕
I'm glad you decided to upload the video on the spur of the moment👌. Pity it wasn't a longer video, but cool regardless. As always, a pleasure to watch, enjoy the rest of your weekend and see you on your next adventure ✌️ 🤙 🤟
Thank you Garry. I'll look forward to seeing what you bring mate. I always have stuff I don't use but bring "just in case " 😂 Take care bud and once again thank you 👍🏕
Thank you Craig . Yes it was surprisingly light for military kit . Nice and mobile if you have to have a bit of a hunt round for a spot to camp . Take care mate 👍🏕
Nice one Mark ,time spent in the woods is seldom wasted,as always good advice -before I got soft & started hammocking that was essentially what I carried 😂 Regards Mick
Thanks for watching Mick . Mate I always seem to bring more than I need . Sometimes its nice to have a load of gear with you and sometimes I think its good to have a more mobile pack . Horses for courses I suppose. Take it easy mate 👍 🏕
Something I've never really bought or used military gear , but find it interesting watching others use it , you can get quite a bit of gear in 30l - 40l pack , nice little set up mate, 10 - 11 kilos isn't too bad, it's all the IPAs that weigh my pack down 🤣, all the best 👍
Cheers Gaz . Yes mate , had no ales in there 🤣. Thatd probably add a kilo or 2 . . Old military surplus is good for the old woodland camping not sure about the hills mate, haven't tested that . Anyway hope you're good Gaz take care mate 👌🏕
Cracking stuff as always Mark, great to see the basha out again I love them. I've got the British army northern Ireland patrol bag it's a brilliant little bag it's fourteen years old and in great condition. Take care mate 👍
Fenton 😂 Mate I always bring stuff i don't end up using " just in case" . . I suppose if you don't mind carrying extra it don't matter. Nice to be mobile if needed though . Take it easy Tim and thanks for watching 👍🏕
@@treksntarps I think I carried in 20-22kg on Saturday and we walked around 5 miles to camp. Definitely need to go a tad lighter. At least we can start doing so for about four months a year 😁 Have a good week, Mark.
@@BourneOutside Yes mate , that big bulky sleeping bag the layers for the nippy weather add a bit of weight and bulk. Still, its better to be comfortable i think mate .
So beautiful and relaxing hike my friend, gorgeous views!
Thank you . It is nice around that area. Take care 👍🏕
