I love it also Bella is so cute especially at 12:05 15:28 I think that’s really cool also Bella moment! 16:30 that’s a cool pillow 17:28 (gasp) BUM BUM BUUUUM 17:38 - 17:54 Bella moment The outro is awesome!
Nice setup. That answers a problem I’ve encountered but you just stop at the tie out instead of pulling the point all the way to the edge of the tarp. Thank you for that. All the best!
Funny at the end - since Bella got your bedroll, I assume she put you in the dog bed? Nice to see people take such good care of their pups - so glad you brought her a good bed too. I like doing that set-up, or similar, free-standing with a hiking pole and a short one in the back. Thanks. It's a lot more stable using your trees there.
Yes, sleeping inside the bedroll sleeve generates condensation the same way a bivy would. I generally sleep on top of the sleeve, but a wool blanket does help if you’ve got weather that requires you to sleep in the sleeve as a bivy.
Awesome work on this one Nich! I appreciate the mention as well! I am assuming you are referring to George Wells? I have used that same setup with my Tentsmiths 8x8 that he showed many years back. It is a great setup for sure. Keep up the great work brother!
Man, watching your video is a kind of wasting of time ! You were not well prepared and things were all spread around, you need to find your picks, you need to jump around to look for things you need. In other words, you were not prepared ! I just watched a few minutes and dropped ..... check other videos and learn how well people prepare before filming. They can make very good explanation how to do set up of 3-5 different kinds of tarp within 15-20 minutes, but you took more than 20 minutes for only one set up !
Good morning from Florida.
I really like the tarp tent setup. I will definitely be using that.
Awesome! Let me know how it goes brother!
Love this demo. Well done! The comment that Bella is in black everyday cracked me up.
Glad you liked it! 😂 thanks Papa!

Great Job, thanks for Sharing
Great Video, I like the bi-pod conception. Stay Safe
Thanks!
Do you get a lot of condensation in the bedroll sleeve especially in cooler weather? If so, what helps with it, a wool blanket?

Thanks Matt! I am referring to the George tent that Kephart referred to.
@@NichGatton I got ya. I should have know that lol! It’s been a little while since I’ve read his books.
Excellent video
Thanks brother!
Nice! Due to the height of the commenter I will definitely be trying the bipod version.

Fair point. Thanks for watching and especially engaging!
Don't like your set up. I use a setup with a floor triangle.
Copy that. Post a link to your set up so I can check it out. The George tent isn’t for everyone I’m sure.
@@NichGatton this guy is weirdo. he video a rock for 4 minutes. lol never mind him. your set up is cool.
Couldn't really see it from rodent eye level
I will get a taller cameraman.
