    The Cannon Arc Design looks inaccurate, but it is actually really precise; when multiplying the square root of 2 by itself, any good calculator will say it's 2, but in race mode, this calculator has taken the values as velocities and, considering special relativity, it has given us an even more precise result!

    are there any calculators designed specifically for "in a bin" use? also if I use a regular calculator in a bin, does it void the warranty? thank you

    • @wtfiswiththosehandles
      @wtfiswiththosehandles 9 років тому +83

      +karffiol - I never had a calculator designed for bin use, and I regret it. I accidentally used my Citizen calculator in a bin, and it stopped working.
      When I tried to make a warranty claim, the technician instantly recognized that it was misused (bin use) and refused to fix it.

    • @RFC3514
      @RFC3514 11 років тому +36

      The first calculator has 8 digits, the third has 12, and both round to the last digit. That makes the third calculator about 10 thousand times more accurate than the first.

    I couldn't list all of the jokes in this if I tried; if calculators were this amusing all the time I'd have run out of money a long time ago.

    You said that 0.9 recurring is inaccurate, but isn't another video on this channel explaining how 0.9 recurring is 1?

      the 8 at the end of the series tells you the calculator rounded down at that digit, if it were truly 0.9 recurring the last digit would have rounded upwards and the final answer would have been simply 2.

      John Robinson ah my bad, I thought you were talking about calculator #1, didn't see the calculator 3 accuracy test until just now

    • @zlcoolboy
      @zlcoolboy 11 років тому

      From what I can tell its pretty much just not taking that last step to just turn the digit into what it actually is, which means it wasn't programmed to be as accurate as it should have been.
