As you was talking about smoking i remember in the news a couple got a new TV i think it was a plasma anyway it went wrong after a year they sent it back but was told there chain smoking killed it and the warranty did not cover that. Some plasma screens had fans in them to keep them cool it was all sticky with tar and stunk of that lovely smell. Smoking kills not just the body.
I had one of these a few years ago, it wasn't a very good radio. I have a few old CB mags in the loft from around 1990 and they were a cheap set back in the day for the features that they offered.
Never seen one of these before back in the day but seems an interesting set, anyway time to watch the scratchy corner test.
