It's great to see how far you have come from your first time driving on track to mastering multiple courses. No matter what people say, I for one know that you have a talent that not many people do so don't give up and keep pushing yourself. Your car control and ability to setup your car is what makes you in a league above most people. With the amount of effort you put into everything I really hope you are rewarded accordingly. I look forward to see you racing in bigger events such as MSF or MCS in a few more years!
@@MeorHariz let me share a secret hack with you brother. What i always do is i put a small amount of like rm10 of the petron ron100 or the red shell v power as an octane booster because my car wont run with the regular 95. I mix the 95 with those. I dont know if this works on modern cars because they have some sensor idk. This is a genius method i experimented for poor people like me. But from my experience, you can actually feel the difference with the red v power racing and i'm not sponsored lol.
@@Hetzerg That’s an interesting insight. But that also means we have to assume that the different fuel with varying octane rating can mix and blend with each other. In the case where it’s like oil and water where they are always a separate layer of their own - you can never tell if the “high octane” that was mixed in will be the first thing the car burn when you start it or somewhere in between Full and Empty. Either way, if your car is able to run well to this day by doing this method then hats off for being able to pull it off! I’ve done it before for RON95 and RON97 when I was fresh out of high school (and 97 wasn’t as expensive as it is now too). It was more torquey but it could’ve been placebo too hahah
@@MeorHariz i thought about the concept of oil and water too where there are separate layers but in this case the fuel got mixed. I'm no scientist but it works. 😂 if i put ron 95 on my car it wont start. But if i mix them, it will start. I learned this through experience. The previous owner said the car is tuned for ron 97. Before this i put full ron97 before covid and the ukraine war happened. At that time the price was still high but affordable. After that the ron 97 price increased so high and i cant afford to put full 97 anymore. Thats my story. Poor me 😂

Hey man, I’m really glad you enjoyed the whole video! I’ve been on this journey alone for the most part and to be a part of something bigger with great company - it really does make me feel a special type of way. With the very recent tweak on the car’s suspension, I’m fairly confident shaving off time from my latest personal best is possible but I might need more than that if I wish to tackle “The Big 3” who are always on their peak game in conquering the podium (huge respect to them though). I’ll be back with better setup, wiser track knowledge and… who knows. More horsepower? Hehe 😋💕

The D-CVT transmission is assigned to the facelifted version of the Myvi G3. My car is the pre-FL hence running a 4AT gearbox. Some of the benefits of shifting like so are utilizing the engine braking and exiting turns with higher torque.
For me personally, I rasa AD09 jauh lebih better dari AD08R dari segi performance. Dry grip and wet grip superb tapi.. durability dia tak tahan. Kalau nak pakai on the road, better pakai AD08R. AD09 ni macam dua kali ganda lagi cepat bunga tayar dia habis. Saya pun pakai AD09 for track sahaja, on the road ada set tayar dan rims lain. 🙇🏻♂️✨

Hi there, yes I'm using the AD09 throughout this video however they are my track set and I only use them on track or when travelling from my house to the tracks (Sepang or MIMC). I run other set of tires for my daily. Even so, I did drive around for about a week or two with the AD09 and I noticed a couple of stuff. One thing that I've highlighted in one of my previous videos is that how comfortable they are despite being XUHP tires. They're quiet, they're not as stiff as you'd expect them to be (even more comfortable than the AD08R and RE004). Aside from its performance, I noticed that the wear on these tires are extremely accelerated. Even faster than the AD08R, even. I highly do not recommend to run them as your daily unless you have a deep pocket or willing to change them every 6-8 months. They also take a lot of time to heat up so you won't be getting high grip on a cold night. That's about it for street driving from me.
@@TheFoxho As much as I'd love to give a feedback between these two, I have no experience on the Z3. Best for me to not get bias and have someone who actually does to share their input instead! 🙇
Apart from the handling department which includes tires, suspension and aero - the exhaust is the only "performance" mod on the car. Though I doubt it's at its full potential as the car is still running the stock ECU with no remap.
@@MeorHariz ah I see. Well a proper full exhaust mod should see some decent gains (low end/high end depending on the set up). But nevertheless totally agree with u going full force on the handling department first. ECU remap/piggyback/standalone could be considered, though I doubt if it's worth it..might as well save up for your next project car as u mentioned in your earlier vids somewhere. Keep churning out the good stuff!
@@kishurm5310 Yup, there is indeed some level of gains but nothing too crazy. It's not even that fast on the road as well due to how my suspension was setup. And agreed, the price to do those are not worth the power gained - at least from what I've seen thus far. I might reconsider if there are better outcome to it in the near future but until then, the goal is to save up and spend on the next project car! Hahah, to be fair - he is using performance summer tires while I was on XUHP tires. Plus, lighter rims compared to the stock Perodua ones (not that much difference but a second through each turn equals to a lot of timing shaved). In this video, he was still on stock suspension (but he swapped to D2 high-low ones on the more recent video).
I’m not exactly sure what was the car that secured 1st place on this event but the top 3 positions are often conquered by a Honda Jazz, Honda CR-Z, Toyota Vios and possibly a Satria. Maybe someday I’ll join them! 🤞🏻
Hahah I sometimes do but there’s a lot of factors such as: • Will the gear ratio be compatible with the 2NRVE’s output (1.3’s MT)? • Fitment • Do I need an engine swap along with the transmission conversion? But hey, it kinda works as it is so I’m not too inclined to do a conversion unless it’s truly beneficial.

Great video. Just my curiosity wouldn't the car perform better without you selecting the gear since its a cvt not a conventional auto.
