Great video Jordan . Been wanting to see Hiker Trailers do some video’s like this. Can’t wait to see more. We hope to see all the Hiker team when we come to pick up our trailer in a month or two when it’s finished. Thanks again.
Great video. I'm especially interested in the bunk beds option on a 10-ft trailer. How much room inside do you have left for a mattress? And for the galley is it the standard 17 inch even with the bunk beds?
Appreciate the video! Why are hand holes no longer available if you get the bottom m section of the galley closed off? I was hoping to put a litter box in the bottom section of the galley with the hand holes serving as cat access.
Question! With things like the leg for the table on the breakaway bracket, I noticed it looks like they're made of wood. What kind of weight can they support, and do they hold up to moisture?
Another question. Can you tell me more about the USB ports? What kind are they? If you don't get the USB port in the galley, will there be a standard 12 volt port in the galley?
I originally wanted to add a shelf in the front of the trailer as seen at 4:21. How do you guys install those? I am not the best at these kind of things. Do you have to drill through the trailer?
We use recessed wood screws underneath. We don't penetrate fully through the side wall, just enough to attach. You could also reinforce with some wood glue, then silicone the edges in almond to make everything look nice!
@@HikerTrailers yes, the opening would be more precise to place some kind of cubby trays. I’m guessing there might be like a 1/4” or so additional space behind the trim in front of the shelf. Thanks for your reply.

The galley is 17" and the bunks are 23". You would have 80" left for the cabin interior.

@@HikerTrailers Right on. Thank you!
On back galley. What is the height from floor to bottom of first shelf, standard?
This is approx. 16" on most builds.
Can you guys do build in stove and sink?
@hikertrailer What is the height of the top shelve you mentioned the depth 17” I need to know the height for storage bin options . TIA
its' approx. 6" from the opening of the rear door to the top galley shelf if that is what you are referring too.

Would I be able to purchase the inside plate washers for the roof rack through bolts? This wasn't installed on my build on 2020.
