How!? They matched every aspect entirely. The hair even has physics?! The black hole in the background? Blown my mind completely. Even the music sounds remastered too. I'm absolutely shocked at the quality level of this mod...
They probably took Kirin's hair animation.
The music is White Fatalis theme orchestral redention, from MH 15th anniversary concert, for anyone who does not know of it.
@@xxx_jim_the_reaper_xxx The hair isn't animated by hand, its 100% physics (I assume at least). Kirin's is also physics.

The modders are quite inspired from Freedom Unite after all.
This is seriously impressive work, I’m even more impressed that they actually changed how Fatalis’s ultimate attack works on a fundamental level making it actually call down bolts of red lightning, and they changed his long cone Fire breath to look like he’s charging up an attack, and then at the end of the animation actually sending out said attack in a AOE circle lightning chain, seriously I *CANNOT* express enough how impressive this is, I mean even going as far as making the sky resemble the black hole White Fatalis comes out of in his opening cutscene, like man.....seriously impressive work.
Yeah, many modders believed it to be impossible to change the ult, even the other White Fatalis mod couldn't do it so the fact that they managed to do that at all is a huge feat

Holy. Fucking. Shit. The amount of effort and love put into this mod is just incredible. Hats off to the creators, because they made the objective BEST mod in Monster Hunter; It genuinely looks like something the official MH devs made. These guys need to get hired for MH.
My one and only complaint from this is that the lightning strike attack is just not chaotic enough to be White Fatalis's ultimate attack. If there were, like, TWICE as many lightning strikes happening it'd be perfect.
Yeah, I think that too, and the added thing of them actually following you so you can't just stand around waiting and chilling until it finishes
Another thing it could do is instead of summoning a ton of lightning bolts, it could summon a ton of continuous laser beams from the sky that last 5 seconds each. And then to finish it all off, it shoots an even larger laser beam from its mouth that splits off into a huge radius of intense dragon energy once it hits the ground.
And perhaps have it (1) not dropping so coordinated and (2) being continuous during the final phase.

Agreed to this one. It may just me but the white fatalis seems weaker here. Hope they adjust those as well.
Aside from that, man this mod is lit.
The ultimate needs waaay more kick. Canta here really showed how you can pretty much survive just by standing still. It needs a lot more dragon thunders

Yeah there's basically 0 aoe on some of those attacks
maybe or maybe he needs his armor mode back i dont think he has it here. Basically most attacks bounced you if you didnt use a tcs or aimed for the head.

The charged blast seems a little... Underwhelming.
However, changing the cone breath to the secondary charge breathe was awesome as well as the changed ultimate.

I don't expect Capcom or the MH team to do such a thing, since the franchise has deep console roots. I'm just saying that the Fans have ideas that would be great for the game, and now that we can mod a MH game properly, we now have the power to make our own MH game! Because honestly, it won't get far if we had modding tools, and a modded MH fan game won't replace the Mainline MH,
Because the series pushes itself each installment.
If anything, some aspects of mods or fan games would make it into the bass game, like that light mod for dropped items in world being added to Rise.

@@zerotwo6814 that is obvious, some mods are silly, some are full-blown projects like this one. And mods like this one should be looked at by the producers of mh. It would definitely be a good inspiration for the team making the game.

This is easily the best monster mod out there. Sure it's nothing too crazy but this legit looks like what a modernized White Fatalis
Actually amazing! And as a suggestion, in order to make the ultimate attack more effective, keep the random lightning strikes as it is, but ALSO make lightning bolts constantly chase the player like in 4U. This will force them to be on the run, in turn making the random lightning much more deadly
not possible we tried , this map thinks balistras are players and the bolts only targeted the balistras

This team managed to replicate not just the monster, but the entire fight as well, and I think that's incredible. Love the passion and attention to detail!! Thank you for bringing my favorite elder dragon to this game!
Now this is quality of the utmost degree. Some of the lightning effects lack a little impact, but the attack patterns are great and they could probably just stack more of the effect to make it look stronger. I don't think we'll see something top this for a while if ever, but then again, the really impressive stuff usually doesn't come out until years after a game is done with updates. The anniversary White fatty music was an excellent choice and they even recreated the black hole.

The only criticism i can really add is that i think the lightning storm he calls down should track the players a little more, so that way they don’t stand in one place the whole time while it happens, beyond that this mod is just done in such quality i’d be surprised if Capcom doesn’t pay the mod makers so they can make this the official White Fatalis and put him in MHR, just well done all around
This criticism was actually addressed by one of the modders in another comment. Apparently the map considers the ballistae to be players and trying to have the tracking work caused the lightning to just target them.
This is beyond beautiful! Those weapons, that palico, the arena, White Fatalis, all of it is AWESOME!

It’s amazing to see how far the series has progressed over the years, those older games look ancient compared to Rise and WorldBorne

Good job on visuals. Difficulty wise, this is obviously nothing compared to regular Fatalis, for a variety of reasons, but the experience enough is really great and is worth writing home about.

As someone who has never been able to fought the previous Fatali, I'm honestly excited for when this mod releases. The Fatalis family of monsters has become one of my favorites and I don't own any of the older consoles for the older games so I'm unable to play. This is some mighty fine work!
There are emulators that you can use to play in PC
They used the orchestrated one but my god does it fit well

I love this Mod definetely one of the best ive seen the rendering of his body is so well done. I remeber there being another whit fatalis mod in which some is attacks are cooler than this one. Just need to combine and this mod will be perfect

This is amazing. I had no idea anyone could or would mod the map like that-I suppose it should be a given with that tower top mod but it just escaped me. I had also heard from a number of people that modding Fatalis’s ult was impossible or beyond them so seeing it done is blowing my mind here.
Nevertheless I’d be lying if I said it didn’t feel very unfinished. There’s absolutely nothing this White Fatalis does (or at least showcases) that doesn’t feel entirely less threatening than vanilla Fatalis, which (imo) is against the entire point of this monster. The attacks are less visually spectacular, easier to dodge, and (at the absolute least compared with phase 3 Fatalis) less deadly. The charged fireballs are a particular letdown, with the phase 3 DoT patches they leave behind really not making up for it at all, and the fan-shaped flame modification while very cool looking, in practice is just... not dangerous and an even bigger window to wail on Fatalis’s head; something else really needs to go on during that charge up, both visually and gameplay-wise. The floor lines are good, but having seen the other mod’s version of them as full lightning strikes I have to say I prefer the other one and all it’s oomph in this regard.
With that in mind, I’m sure the modders are aware of a lot of or all of this and I’m taking this as an *extremely* exciting work in progress that will perhaps be the greatest mod for Iceborne to date and I can’t wait for more. I would offer *any* help I could potentially be of the group, but I don’t know what that could be other than playtesting/feedback or ideas. I’ve done some minor work in game design in planning boss encounters for what that’s worth, but that doesn’t make me a modder. (I’m not a modder, lol)

As a console fellow player, I'm considering getting MHW on the PC if it became really cheap during one of steam's sales, it would be worth it just for the amazing mods and updated graphics/frame-rate ... after all I will be getting Rise on PC as well since I don't have a Switch.

His transition phase attacks are amazing and the music and the background is spot on. I just think his normal attacks didn't have that power I see in Josh and cottons new video on white fatalis that was created by another modder
My favourite part of the Fatalis line of CB is if you try and reload without anything the eye opens and just looks at you in disappointment

I expected just a reskin or like retextured one, but holy fuck that nova is amazing. I didn't expect that such mod can change that.
Only minor issue I can see is that the charged nuke is a bit underwhelming because I expected a big spherical explosion like in older gens.
It would have been cool if it ended with a red sapphire of the emperor

I feel like they would bring Crimson on Rise, and Old Fatalis on Gen 6. It would be awesome to see how Old Fatalis Arena-wide lightning strike looks in HD.
