@@Rathadude He has 2 (arguably 3 pin attacks) -There's the normal fatalis pin attack -There's a super pin attack He does a pin attack immediately after doing the heatwave attack that covers the whole area. In this version after he pins you to his chest he roars to the skies with some more fire effects, then he will shoot a flamethrower right at his chest and do a triple nuke right after, before finally throwing you off. -The technical third pin is when you stand in the middle of the phase transition and get hit by the pin animation he does to get to the middle, if you get pinned by this you die in the lava pool
They could’ve just reskinned a normal Fatty and give it new attacks and then call it a day. But no, they went out of their way to create this incredible and extraordinary mod. Mad respect to the Resurgence team.

Looks like a big difficulty spike from White Fatty if you ask me And damn, choosing an enitre different locale to spawn the thing was brilliant and probably took a LOTTA effort, and was definitely worth it. What a great mod team man

The first Fatalis i was able to successfully kill. (MH4U) I couldn’t kill Fatalis, but when I got the Crimson Fatalis quest, I was determined. And I did it! This is awesome. Not only the BEAUTIFUL ARMOR, but THE FIGHT.
It is absolutely gorgeous. And i can't see any BS either, its a really well designed fight...well, maybe the heatwave attack, but then again the original had that one as well

I like how the mod team made one overgrown horn for Crimson and each weapons. And also how Crimson Fatalis starts as regular Crimson, then goes MH4U G-rank Crimson. It is no longer a variant, simply Crimson Fatalis being on fire. The mod team are genius. Capcom should bring Crimson and White Fatalis mod to the main game.

I should probably mention the fact that this Mod has 2 quests for Crimson Fatalis, the normal version and the Event Difficulty version... the former has 5 faints with a 50 minute timer and the latter has 3 faints with a 35 minute timer and higher stats
Woa, it was the best mod I've seen in a good time!! The only thing that felts was the meteors, but it doesn't matter considering how well done is the battle.
This is badass, I was hoping it'd be on a new deeper level of the Elders recess but Teostra's lair works fine, hopefully we get something like this in MH6

This mod is magnificent and how Capcom should have implemented Crimson since it takes place inside the volcano and if they added Crimson to the game this is exactly how it should be being one of my all time favorites from the series hands down
I have always felt a draw towards the element of fire, if i were to be a fantasy character, I'd be a pyromancer, now when you think of fire dragons most think of the red dragons from dnd, but this guy! Holy actual hell! Safi has some might big balls to call himself the "Red Dragon." This mod really tells you who and what a true RED DRAGON IS! He is so god damn beautiful! Those scales, the magnificent fiery glow that just emanates rage and the fury of the sun, an all acompasing flame that leaves naught but ash in it's wake. Crimson Fatalis is a true Fire Dragon.
Oh no they took everything that made him difficult! The janky leg hitboxes and collision hitboxes! 😂 Seriously though this is an amazing mod! I’ve fought crimson fatalis more times than you can count in GU and the similarities are very sweet and you kept it the roughly same height which I adore.
I don’t understand the attack at 11:30. There’s too much orange and red that I can’t tell what the hell is happening and what’s causing your health to constantly tick down that fast and how do you stop it? On top of that, I was eating some major frame drops when he did that attack to me. As cool as that attack looks, it feels incredibly unfair and sorta just pissed me off when I got hit with it.

If someone could answer this question i would be grateful. Why do mhw mods always replace equipment instead of adding new equipment? It has been a while since I spend time modding world but this question was always at the back of my mind and i never found the answer.
it fucks up your save so you cant play with out the mod anymore, and also crashes other people online, we plan when the full Resurgence is released to do something to go around that issue but we cannot do that for every single monster release because it will destroy your save, we can add new monsters throw a trick that makes the game believe you fight the normal Fatalis, but not for equipment/items.
This mod is simply incredible, but maybe once it reach the second phase it would be even better if it focus more on the meteor attacks (like the old one) because i have only see one in the entire bossfight. Maybe I am wrong and because of the immense damage you inflicted to it; it simply didn't have time. let me know (it's still an incredible mod).
One of the main reasons why I love that Monster Hunter is coming to PC. World may be dying on consoles but I am happy to see modders come together and give us more. Also excited for Rise PC, can’t wait to see what will become of that game.

I really like phase 2 here, it's really good. But honestly, I wish it had the phase 1 of the other Crimson Fatalis mod, where they changed up and made his fire attacks more brutal overall Overall though, good mod!

The team behind this and the White Fatalis mod are wizards. There is no other way to explain how they do this kind of stuff other than magic.

White fatty isn't fully finished, when the whole Resurgence modpack is done white fatalis will have some more changes and be a lot hardee

Fun fact about crimson fatalis: it's dual blades in the official games have both dragon and blast. They are fun to use.

Reference to 4U Fatalis, could release some explosive dust (inflicting Blastblight) but wasn't capable to detonate them

Nah hes the same size Iceborne Fatty is a bit smaller than OG Fatty but it's the same size as normal and White
