My mom was an alcoholic and didn’t get help and did that and then would say the same thing! Absolutely insane. Thankfully towards the end she changed and wasn’t like that anymore because she got help.

I wouldn’t say one is worse than the other. Being sexually assaulted and beaten daily was pretty bad, in my opinion.

Expod .....there is no treatment for the true narcissist, they’re convinced that they are right and everyone else is wrong....narcissism is described as the only mental illness where the person with the disorder doesn’t receive treatment, everyone around them does....the emotional damage they inflict is enormous.

Seriously, as Dr. Phil said in one of the previous segments, this dude is incredibly insecure. If not for the violence and emotional abuse he has clearly enacted on his family and his inability to truly own up to his shortcomings and his crimes (because abuse, assault, and battery are crimes), I would truly feel sorry for him because he looks so desperate on stage. The lack of control is eating him up.
But because of how horrible a person he has been and continues to be, he gets no sympathy from me. I do hope he one day turns around, not only for his own peace of mind, but also for the safety and sanity of anyone who has to deal with him.
