It’s honestly wild that Sledgehammer made a better game with more content in just 8 months. For context: IW spent 3 YEARS making MWII. Speaks VOLUMES on the integrity of both studios
Not to mention that by Season 2 of MWII IW we’re “happy with to the state of MWII.” Absolutely a joke. No wonder their studio is struggling with MW4 right now.
To be fair to IW they did a good job with DMZ. If that was released with the movement of MW3 I think it would have been an even bigger success! To be clear, I also think IW shouldn't get a premium title for the next decade! The damage they did with the movement, 2 plate vests, backpacks, no load outs at launch, inability to sprint and plate, etc. it'll be years before WZ is back to the numbers it had even around Caldera.
topic for next episode. Should COD start releasing every other year, with nothing between like Battlefield does Casue I could wait 2 - 3 years for another COD
I honestly think that they should try to bring back Blackout for Warzone this year. I genuinely think that mode would have gotten more love than Warzone if it released free to play.
Yo T! Partying up in Zombies with a buddy or two and chatting on the headset to obliterate the floods of zombies in this wonderful PvE would be EPIC! I respected Zombies back in BO1 but I’ve really enjoyed and dove into Zombies this year and I’m a FAN. I spent a good amount of hours in Cold War Zombies (super fun), BO2 Zombies, BO3 Zombies, WAW zombies, MWIII zombies, IW Zombies (super fun), etc. I must say BO3 and BO2/BO1 Zombies are the 🐐s then follows closely BOCW Zombies then WAW then IW Zombies (Zombies in Spaceland). We NEED a livestream of Tdawgsmitty and Ch0p playing BO3 Zombies or BO6 Zombies ASAP! 🔥 🔥 🔥
Remember how Modern Warfare 19 was advertised as a more realistic back to the basics experience? Now we have Rey Mysterio Jr and Rick Grimes sliding around everywhere with sledgehammers.
Infinity Ward needs to be relieved of their COD duties. We don’t need another Modern Warfare (MW4 in development supposedly). Treyarch and SHG should be the only studios in charge of COD now. Treyarch drops a new COD then take 2 years off then SHG drops a COD. This could preserve the integrity of new CODs. They should take notes from Rockstar Games with GTA.
Don’t get me wrong, MW3 2023 by SHG was good but too late. This effort should have been put in back in MW2 2022. I was done with MW3 2023 back in March. I only picked MW3 2023 back up because I got it for $30 brand new from Walmart then I played it for a month and it got stale again. It’s not SHGs fault but they needed more new maps (cel shaded was okay but a lazy attempt of a “new” map). COD is on life support tbh and what is keeping it on life support is nostalgia and the old CODs. Black Ops Cold War was the last decent COD in the past 5 years.
They need to keep celebrity skins out of the game, and they need to stick with time period accurate skins/blueprints. I think the crazy skins in Modern Warfare don't work so well because they are so off the wall different and futuristic and it loses the identity way too easily. In Cold War they brought in Scream and Rambo, which were kinda out there, but still accurate enough for the time period of the game that it worked. If Treyarch does this I think they can keep the identity again. Once they start getting too far out there then the game gets too ridiculous to feel like call of duty anymore.
I honestly blame iw for this, even though shg were the main devs , still iw was calling the shots. I think shg devs said they had plenty of ideas for the game but were never added bc of iw not liking them. The game simply wasn't complete enough to be considered a game . Tbh we would be much better off if it was an expansion since mwiii is just the things people wished were in mwii ( except for campaign ofc). Mw 2022 for all it's flaws could have been "redeemed" or improved and overall damage on the community would probably be less
I think there will be a campaign early access still since if you look at the dates on PlayStation the game comes out 1 week early. So unless they’ve shifted from that very recently I think campaign early access will happen.
I’ve been enjoying mw3 multiplayer the last year, it’s felt more competitive (sweaty) which some people don’t like but I feel it keeps things interesting. I still am ready to get on BO6 and never touch mw3 ever again though 😂
I honestly think IW shouldnt get a premium title for the next decade! The only thing I'll give them credit for is DMZ. Give them the remit to get DMZ back up and running and support it and keep them away from WZ, MP and Zombies!
19:54 this is why players should keep playing the previous cods they liked instead of being a yearly subscriber expecting the next game to play the exact same. It's just toxic
Chop is glad that we're not getting Early Access yeah the one that gets to play it just like the UA-camrs UA-camrs are just bias cuz they get to play early
I disagree with it being better for the average player/consumer to get all the content at once. I am a slightly above average player(I play a shit ton of the game, but I don't get to max rank or the mastery camo within the first month(it takes me at least the whole games main life cycle)) , and I love good COD Campaigns, but I end up neglecting them for upwards of a month, because I grind away at Zombies, and enjoy myself some MP, so I don't have too big of a window to play the Campaign. With MWII and MWIII I didn't care to jump in right away(I never even played the MWIII Campaign), but with Cold War I loved the Campaign but didn't start it until 8 days after Launch, and didn't finish it until the 16th day(I only played it on 3 out of those 16 days). It's not that long, but it's enough time to get spoiled. So getting dedicated time to play the Campaign a week or 2 before the rest of the game launches allows even the average player to not feel like they are losing time with the other parts of the game.
I also think you guys think people care about crazy cosmetics more than they actually do. Sure, there are some people that don't like them at all, but it's a very small minority of the playerbase. I love the crazy, wacky skins. I'm not a huge fan of stuff like Nicki Minaj, and Sports Players, but give me any and every collab skin as long as it looks good(don't give me those garbage Vault Suit skins, give me power armor).
Honestly I agree with both of your points about campaign early access and the skins topic. For me personally I’m a huge zombies guy and a camo/challenge grinder. With the campaign early access I can do the whole campaign a few times over and get all the trophies before Zombies/MP even drops. Now if it doesn’t come out early I’ll have to delay my play through, or fall behind on zombies EE hunts and stuff which sucks. With the skin stuff though I also enjoy the wacky stuff, but mostly skins that just look good/cool like you said. If they’re going to make battle passes and things like that then atleast make it something cool looking and not monotone or bland looking like some of the skins we had in MWII. Cold War and MWIII have been good in the skins department and I think BO6 will go even harder.

Season 5 reloaded uninstalled zombies when it updated the game. But kept the Multiplayer. Figures they would pull a cheap trick like this to force zombies players to play multiplayer to get the new spear that released.
