I have the Romaleos 2 and love them. Worth upgrading to the Legacy Lifters? They seem somewhat similar based on your description other than the heel lift.
I agree that the Legacy is a great solid shoe. However, after owning mine since the launch day (~15 months), one of the laces ripped through the leather eyelet. Closer inspection shows that the other eyelets were also wearing out. I weight lifted in them about 3-4 days/week during this time.
I just ordered them, I sure hope I get more life out of them... Maybe I shouldn't tighten the laces to much.
Hey Armen, have you thought of reviewing the Romaleos XD? Wondering your thoughts on the differences between those and the Reebok Legacy's?
If I were to compare size wise are they reebok and nike the same size overall or is one made bigger please? Probs of buying online

I'm ashamed to say I'm baited. At my skill level, "sexy", as the reviewer has it, is a higher priority than a marginally higher performing lifter like the Nike. In other words, I'm the fool that will pay an extra $100 for . . . 3% lower performance (made that number up).
while i am a sneakerhead and know that looks matter, for lifting shoes you only use them for so few lifts that i dont find the aesthetics super important, compared to other shoes you own
I agree and I find it preatty sad that Reebok is underrated where I live I have Reebok but every one els has adidas or Nike

Not really a fan of the 3`s but for myself the romaleo 2`s take the cake. I do really like the legacy lifters they just feel off somehow
I haven’t tried the NoBull lifters, and probably won’t, but of the other two I absolutely prefer the Legacy Lifters.

I have a flat left foot and I squat heavy once a week and deadlift heavy once a week with OHP's thrown in. Should I consider weightilfting shoes. I currently use metcons.
do you have problems hitting depth or do you have poor ankle dorsiflexion? If not, then you should stick with your metcons if you're good with depth and dorsiflexion.
Dump the squishy shoes for either activity. If you've got the dorsiflexion, don't bother with lifters - get some Chucks and save yourself the wasted $$$. If you can't hit depth without the heel, get some lifters for squats, but you should avoid them for deads (throws your weight forward). If you have the $$$, grab some Sabos for your deads, or go with Chucks, or just barefoot it.
Def a personal thing: best to try each one, take it for a spin and then decide.

kzelmer they're weightlifting shoes not powerlifting shoes so those are pretty damn good adjectives lol
JiViFi actually no. Romaleos 2 are sturdy as fuck and they are miles ahead from r3. Light shoes are ok for people with problems getting under the bar but in general terms, more weight means more stability.
Which one would you recommend for wider feet?

my first shoe was the original reebok crossfit lifter and after 5 years they still look brand new, so comfortable and strong... but i love the look of the legacy lifters and i want rid of the word crossfit from my shoe :') so i think ima upgrade to the legacy lifters

Having a higher heal one the Reebok Legacey Lifters is huge for doing squats and some other big lifts. It helps a lot to lift your heals up off the floor when doing ass to grass squatting (proper squats!). This shoe lifts the foot in the back and supports fully and keeps the foot from moving around. Solid lifting shoe indeed!
They all elevate the heel
Nick Vetter but the legacy lifters have one of the higher raised heels. Especially out of the selection being mentioned in the video.
In other words, if you care more about what people think than quality, and will actually spend MORE for this--get the shoes that match your shell of a soul--get Nobulls.

working on a second battle of the lifters which will include the leistung and possibly the adipowers as well.
Owned them for 3 months, the tip of the sole started breaking (rear leg of the c&j). If you're serious about oly lifting. Do not get them
I've had them for 3 months now and still use them everyday, I'm very satisfied. Nothing has been worn out or anything like that and I use them everyday, they seem pretty damn good to me.
they do have a slim design to them however, I wouldn't recommend them to someone with wide feet. Fits perfectly on me though

I own the Romaleo3 and the second month I had them the tongue ripped. Great shoe but the quality is shit. :(
Brian Bravo I had one pair tear after 3 months and then the replacement tore 1 month in. Got them replaced with the adipowers. Like you said, great shoe, shit materials. Mainly the tongue.
