  • Here is my take on the latest Nike lifter the savaleos. Cheaper, lighter and sleeker than anything Nike has previously produced.
    See how it stacks up next to Nikes previous models and the Nike metcon.

    i dont wanna be a hater! but the evolution of nike weightlightlifting shoes stops at Romaleos 2, the version 2 is the best weightlifting shoes ever made in my opinion. todays market on weightlifting shoes they are trying to combine weightlifting and crossfitting in one shoe. it would be fun to see Nike design and produce a romaleos 2 version again

    I just got them on clearance on Scheels for $70 looks like a good quality shoes but the tips are too narrow i have wide feet and feel someone is squeezing my toes (and yes i went Half size up there is a little space left before by toes touch the top)

      Did u return it or will it widen up after wearing naturally? Have the same problem with wide feed, lenght is ok but too narrow, what about going one half size more up?

      @@mr.tonkabean5829 I still have them and they don't widen up... I keep them on my gym bag and only use them for heavy lifting like deadlifts and squats. If I use them for 1 hour or less the tightness is berable

    Hi! I’ve got metcons for crossfit and I’d like to improve my wf skills (I now do c&j at 110kg to give you an idea). In my case, should I go for Savaleos or Romaleos 4? Thank you so much

    Great shoe but it's stuff out the box so it'll take a couple of sessions to break in. Can't beat the price. I've done HIIT workouts with the shoe and they don't feel as heavy as my Reebok Nano X. Overall, I'm happy.

      Honestly they reacted very well and didn't feel too heavy.

      different accents bro 😂

    • @precursors
      @precursors 2 роки тому

      Because the American pronunciation doesn't make any sense. "Nike" is the name of the goddess of victory in ancient Greek mythology, and correct pronunciation should be Ni-Kay in Greek. Proper English pronunciation should be Naik. American pronunciation is a bastardized version of both

    • @slashnagy6
      @slashnagy6 2 роки тому

      @@precursors even though you are correct about the Greek pronunciation, in this case, it’s pronounced how the company executives deem it to be bc it’s their brand first and foremost.

    • @precursors
      @precursors 2 роки тому

      @@slashnagy6 Well then company executives can't make up a pronunciation and claim it to be the original pronunciation of a foreign word, if it's just a "brand" they created.

    • @slashnagy6
      @slashnagy6 2 роки тому

      @@precursors For their brand, they can do whatever they want; they never claimed it to be the original pronunciation and any examples of such are simply hearsay (ONLY for this brand it is the original pronunciation). If I started a brand and named it “Hi” for example, I could say it is pronounced “hee” because it’s my brand.
