- These are my review on the Nike Savaleos Lifting shoes. The Nike Savaleos are great shoes for beginners and an excellent budget lifting shoe. They come at a great entry point for all lifters who are getting into the sport. As always this is specifically a powerlifters perspective of the Nike Savaleos. Yes I finally found it. My old Reebok's legacy lifter has too much heel height, looking for something less more subtle for both squats and deadlift this is it.
Sick review dude, looking for some proper squat shoes to fully get myself into weightlifting. I developed great ankle mobility and want to preserve it. These seem great like my powerlift4s

@@PandaTRBL Yea I was thinking something the same. I'm actually glad you mentioned that, I think hitting parallel would be easier with the shoes. Because I (like most) naturally elevate my heel when squatting no weight (feels the most comfy). So my idea is let me do this for 1.5 years seriously, then justify buying them. If I'm not hitting parallel, I think I'm just above it. And I hope/imagine the shoes would make that easier. And F*CK YEA! Holy Trent Jr. been going CRAZY too xD

Hi Avi, these are recommended for lifting only. I would highly advise running in these shoes just because the sole is very flat and thin. Running shoes need to have curvature to promote an organic stride and some sort of cushion. I would recommend picking up any cheap running shoes over these! Hope this helps

How do these compare with Adidas powerlift 4 shoes? Thanks
I personally have not owned the adidas powerlift 4 shoes. I cannot imagine too much of a difference but I do know that the heel to toe drop is 13mm and the heels material is slightly different. The material on the nike is more solid than the adidas. Hope this helps

It could definitely help! It’s a great beginner weightlifting shoe without an aggressive heal drop

Reigning champ x stance socks! They don’t make them anymore but I think stance and RC both make great crew socks

Not at all, the best thing for deadlifts is to be in socks or in sumo sole

Yea almost any shoes are allowed within the ipf, except hiking boots

Is cheap plastic crap just like rom 3/4. Romaleos 2 never needed a replacement, but Nike overbuilt them.
