I own the same 2020 Bs6 Himalayan. Ive also installed powertronic ecu.
Very disappointed with the piggyback ecu. I think its only a problem with my particular bike.
Very bad fueling. Lag while acceleration. Knocking sound.
Almost as if the bike is starving for fuel.
The stock bike runs better than with powertronic ECU.
Got in touch with racedynamics.
After lots of trial and error they have told me to get a dyno tune done.
Which is impossible i live in Pune. And there is no one who does dyno tunes for motorcycles.
Almost like waste of money for me 🥲
The stock motor is better, due to emissions controls, they have leaned out the mixture very much in lower revs. The top speed does increase itself after some time.

@@greasemonkey1744 Somehow racedynamics tells me that i either should get a dyno tune or before that i should get my STOCK TPS connector (Crimps).
Which again is very risky to do. Fiddling with Stock wiring of the bike.
@@devanshsharma4828 have you noticed the bike smoothens itself some other day or during cold weather or during rainy season?
The fuel gets rich that time as cold air is pulled into the motor, thats why sometimes that knocking is never heard during cold weather.
On other days, bike runs rough, it is all because of the lean mixture that RE has introduced into its ecu.
Bs4 and early bikes were tuned rich.
I think you must have heard about fuel x pro, Basically you just increase the fuel level into mixtures, if you know anyone running it, you should sure check it out..

Because there doesnt seem to be any other reason whatsoever.
I have a friend who owns a Bs4.
The same issue only occurs VERY rarely for him at very less intensity than mine.
Which again makes complete sense after considering the fact that Stock ECU has been tuned lean.
The stock motor if maintained properly is also fast.
My Himalayan bs6 has clocked 24k kms
The top speed is 130-135.. depends upon wind direction..
I think waste anu powertronic use cheyanne.. no marginal diffrence price point nokiyaal.
Now
Basically it fills the empty spots in the fueling and makes it run smoother.

@powertronic with fuel x is actually an investment along with ngk spark plug kit and a performance air filter and a free flow exhaust wil do the job ,I used it for 20k kilometrer never used to rip engine every time rides around 80-90 and gets around a milege of 35-38 so there is no mileage drops rather it makes engine stressfree
@@vijaygopal248 mine has clocked 51k kms.. 2020 model it is. Mileage is same still same and goes really smooth at 110kmph all day😁
