Great video. It's a very good thing I had just eaten before this video, or I'd be running to the kitchen right now. But even though I've just eaten .... that still makes me a bit hungry. I loved the detail shown ... but would also have loved to find out what some of the ingredients were. Some you can obviously tell, but not all. Well done.
Although many can argue that what is served is not Texas BBQ, I think all of the influences are there for sure. I am tickled that this restaurant is doing so well and has adapted the food for its customers! I would definitely love to have a meal there!!!

Not quite a true Texas style but pretty close for half a world away. Pretty cool. Also is oak hard wood difficult to come by in Korea? That would explain the pellets

It looks like some good bbq and I would love to try it. I can see influences for many styles of bbq from around America and you can tell they take a great deal of pride in what they are doing. But as a pit master I really don’t see how they call this Texas BBQ at all.
@@emmanuellorenzodiaz55. 👍...molasses and soy sauce (key)👀. I do that with my salmon filets also. People that don't like fish kill it. No matter how much is made, it won't last. People sneak off with it. Give it 1-3 cold refrigerator hours to marinate. More is okay but changes the texture and you loose too much salmon flavor. In fact, I'm gonna pan saute that salmon recipe in a pat of butter now. Finish with 1 centered light spray of lime juice for the last 45 seconds. Make ya wanna slap somebody... On the back. No violence. 😁 Dudes, serve it with smoked turkey rice and asparagus spears and favorite wine and your woman will be ready ALL NIGHT! You're welcome. Ps- that recipe quirks with ribs, chicken and fish. Never tried it with beef or lamb- yet.
This is nothing like Texas BBQ! to check ribs you just pick up the rack and bend it if the top cracks then it is tender and done. if the top won't start to split when you bend it then it's not done. 16 hours at 200 to 260 for large cuts without using foil to check a brisket to see if it is done just slide one side of a set of tongs between the top and bottom layer if it comes out with clear juice it is done if it has blood it isn't. That is just the start, i was a pit master and block man and trainer for around 35 years.
Most of it looked great, but that pork at the end - Wow! That looked delicious!!!! So so tender and moisty. I would pay big bucks for some of that right now.
Texan here. Strong effort. I understanding the need to adapt food to regional tastes. I was nodding my head in an agreeable manner for the most part. The only thing that truly gave me pause was the use of frankfurters. Those aren't anywhere close to the sausage we have in Texas. Most importantly, everyone knows Texas for brisket, but only Texans know the sausage is about as important as the brisket. We get sausage from our Czech and German settlers. They're part of what makes Texas, Texas.
Am Texan, would definitely eat here. The rub looked spot on. The brisket looked like it was cooked nicely. Not sure if it was tender enough to pull apart as easily like Texas brisket, but it looked very moist. The pork ribs looked great! The pulled pork looked good...EXCEPT...you forgot the "mop sauce" which is an apple cider vinegar based liquidy sauce. I never seen a mushroom soup in Texas. I was expecting a hearty country chicken soup, similar to chicken noodle soup except I was wrong. Bummer!
