I already have NMS but damn this has to be the best review video not just for NMS but for any game you actually mentioned a lot of things that are true and didn’t just say only good things about if I didn’t already have the game this is what would convince me to buy it Overall great video and nice job
Because of how lame Starfield was a few friends suggested NMS and it's been the best video game purchase I have ever made! So I jumped in 2023 I sunk 300 hours into it before it started feeling boring... true that the game drives you to have the best freighter and starship then multitool but no real boss to take down. But still 300 hours before that aspect of the game says a lot! 300 ish hours for a newbie like me to get the best of the best! and discovering there are 255 galaxies where I can build 300 bases so I'm on a journey to build a base in every galaxy. So I'm 600 hours in now and counting I've never spent this ammount of time in any game! It's climbed the ladder of my favorite games and ascended to be my favorite game! Only other game that might have come close was OG Halo 2 back in the days it launched. But I still doubt I was still this into it 600hours in. 600 hours of game time entertainment for $60 is an awesome deal! No regrets thank you for the review!!! See you all in the Skies for no man!
@jimman-beard2167 the only thing Starfield has over NMS is 16 times the loading screens. Glad you're having a good time. Preordered back in 2016 and never regretted it - NMS is so uniquely different, there's nothing like it 🙃
I started 6 months ago and outside of Powerwash Simulator and a couple days of Dark Horticulture, it's the only game I've played and still look forward to playing nearly every day. My plan was for Starfield because I'm generally a fan of Bethesda games, but NMS has seeming scratched all those same itches and more. I don't even really care what other games are out there because it seems I am obsessed with NMS! ❤
i discovered NMS in early 2022 looking for a new VR experience and i haven't stopped playing it with about 2000+ hours in now. I have seen hundreds of planets and still find myself walking around a planet for hours just enjoying the amazing scenery. I am not in 2D gaming anymore, so VR is just an experience from another dimension in the best way possible.
This game is completely worth the buy! You'll love it, then hate it, and love it again in one game play. I just started and have about 30 hours and it is fun
I got NMS last year, which seems to have been a great time to start. I really need to get into serious building, but it's so hard to settle on any one planet when there are so many interesting worlds to see!
My brother got me into it but the first day I ALMOST threw my PS4 out the window and the CD! Tal about a STEEP learning curve. I could not survive more than a few minutes on either a FREEZING/ BURNING or toxix planet surrounded by my 'graves' with no idea WHAT to do. Now when I get on one of those planets I DRILL A HOLE and climb in! To get to my ship i travel UNDERGROUND. But back in 20?? I hadnt a clue? love base building but mine are plain and boring, but keeping grinding for supplies got to me so I have several mines now making 'building essentials' mag ferrite, chromatic metal etc.... NEVER ventured into a deep ocean base but MIGHT try one found one by accident today - nice. Just when i get a bit bored someones channel like yours pops up and I decided to TRY to build a low orbit base AND learn glitching. Ive seen some INCREDIBLE space ships built and bases. But nothing as good as yours, you have such fresh complex ideas and seem to be the master. I have FINALLY mastered adjaceny and size glitching next step WIRE AND reverse wire AAARGH. I was previously in to sniping games or GT3 but no game has kept me playing for YEARS........EXCEPT NMS
A great review brother. I've been playing NMS for almost two years now, and outburst of frustration to the contrary, I am still enjoying the game, but... If I had been a new player when the Omega Expedition started and had played the expedition as an intro to NMS I would have shelved the game with all the rendering issues I experienced.
Some body once bothered to add up all the recipes that had been discovered at the point (2022?2023?) and it was over 800; and we still can't get toilets! PS: Love your voice. Very soothing.
just bought NMS a week ago. Im hooked 😂, and i never played anything like this game. Im more of a Competitive Shooter and Action RPG type of guy 😅
Enjoy the journey!
Lol. Same here, I’m a shooter. I tried the game some years ago and could not get into it. Might try again.

Well done! Thanks for this thoughtful video.
thanks for watching!
Great video, I was looking for NMS videos in regards of core gameplay and this fits right in. Thanks, will purchase this game now.
Cool hope you enjoy.
Nice overview, concise and to the point.

Yeah that's about right!
Excellent video. I need to dive in again. Thanks for sharing your insights and thoughts.
@@everhat thanks its certainly been a huge year so far for NMS

Yeah starting the game soon after any major update would be a mistake I think. Always buggy.

Lol where does all that pie go?
It's the only game where a few hours is about 50hs. But if you don't love the game after that, you could easily hate it.
Fantastic review, thank you
how is it possible that GTA needs more space than No mans sky this is inpossible
It's because the game is procedurally generated and it basically generates as it goes using the algorithms they set up.
