I'm like Professor Oh, I'm a minimalist when it comes to decoration (and even material possessions in general) - I'd live in a home like hers, but slightly more traditional, with a lower dining area and cushion seating instead of the more "western" table and chairs. I'd also want very minimal furniture - I'd choose a low but comfy lounging area over a sofa.
But Grandma Kim's house is absolutely gorgeous! A lovely place to retire too. If I lived there I'd love a water feature in the ap ma dang :)

If you guys want to learn sentence structure, go to the website talktomeinkorean, it starts off with basic sentence structure. I like how sweetandtasty does videos on the other subjects that we're curious about such as korean housing and food. And gives us important phrases we should memorize :D

sweetandtasty ~ I have a little question regarding their way of sleep... why they were sleeping on the floor? is it because of the heating floor system, small rooms not enough large for bed or is a more deep reason, like their past Philosophy to be in contact with the energy of earth? I'm really curious... thanks for the great videos. big hug ^~^

Thatched-roof cottages? Do their legends tell of Trogdor the Burninator?
Put the home theater in Oh's home and it's perfect. Though that kitchen was awfully void of color. I would feel like a robot when I cooked.

    This is something wrong!
loft is not loh peu teu, It is darak. darak is meaning loft in korea.
In South Korea, Apartment is meaning condo, and condo is meaning resort.
Hwa jang shil is meaning half bath, Yoksil is meaning bathroom.
Joo cha jang is meaning parking zone.
so.. public garage is Gong yong joo cha jang.
these days, home theater is just home theater in korea. just korean accent.
wine cellar is just wine cellar.. do not use these words well.
