A lot of you brought up that he did bring up Jason Todd at the end and his hologram is a speech aimed towards kids. Y’all are right, my bad haha, but I still think my points I made on those (his dialogue in the game being off and Jason not considered his “friend”) still apply!
One thing that I should be taken note of is that if you listen to the audio logs in the game it is revelaed the hologram lines were a literal script written by the other memebers of the league for Batman to read which he finds annoying and pointless and didn't want to do them
I don’t understand why you pick a part the game when the game is that way because of this new woke culture that always needs to be addressed until it stops this progressive message. First source material later is why this game is so awful. Be fearless speak your mind
welp... i mean the brain behind the Arkham series are gone the company just using the Arkham series as a meat puppet its no wonder they have no issue treating this batman like this on that note i feel this series and the batman movies made me realize how crazy batman is
So you don't blame rocksteady, WELL I SURE AS FUCK DO this is the end of the arkhamverse thx to the stupid ass writers at WB. Knight had a way better sendoff, nuff said.
The way Harley said Batman caused “emotional and mental suffering to everyone he ever knew” WHEN SHE HAS CANONICALLY KILLED CHILDREN in this universe, makes no sense. The writing for this game is lazy at best and downright ignorant at worst.
That + the micro-transactions, server issues and repetitive gameplay, It’s just horrible. It’s like the writers didn’t even pay attention to what happened in the original Arkham games. This was in development for 10 years, it doesn’t even look better than knight and it’s story is about 10 hours long!
@@thejoker4676That’s why Jason Todd went after Joker and Harley in this universe. They blew up a school bus and rearranged all the body parts of the children to be mixed and matched
@@thejoker4676 Basically, at some point before Asylum, Joker (and presumably Harley) went into a kindergarten or day care and cut the kids up then stitched the limbs/heads on the wrong bodies. It's also the same incident that led to Jason getting kidnapped.
While I don't think it would have made the game better, I think they definitely would have been viewed less negatively if he just had not been set in the same universe.
Exactly. Just say its an alternative timeline and its not OUR Arkham Batman, with whom we have been on such an emotional epic rollercoaster for 15 years... It just hurts...

The worst part is Although the Arkham Batsuit isn't Bulletproof, it can take Pistol shots, it's an important plot point in the endgame which is how Gordon tricked scarecrow. His cowl and chest are specifically made to take the most shots. How does he die? A PISTOL. TO THE COWL. Edit: He wasn't shot in the mouth part, stop commenting that please
I just explained it away that his suit got shot up so many times, I mean you look at his suit and it's full of bullet holes, so I just figured they broke his armor down. Absolute bullshit, but that's the whole game anyways.
Batman could defeat them all with one gadget: Disrupter HOW WILL YOU SHOOT BATMAN WHEN YOUR GUNS ARE DISABLED? Edit: The only person who’s gun should be immune, would be Deadshot’s are mounted blasters, since they are Nontraditional firearms. But as for the rest of the squad, all of their snipers, mini guns, shotguns, and assault rifles should be exploitable by Batman disruptors. And coincidentally, the most upgraded version we see in the Arkham series has just enough rounds for each of them. 4 shots, 4 guns. That’s assuming Batman hasn’t upgraded his gear in the last five years. Heck, if he has upgraded his disruptor, maybe he could have accounted for specially designed weapons like deadshot’s are mounted cannons.
@@xxbatman69xx98 Even in the Batman Vs superman movie, he gets shot at point blank range and the bullet bounces off. This is supposedly Arkham Batman which is probably the strongest and most durable incarnation of Batman in any media. So his helmet should be able to take the shot with ease. Its also clear she wasnt shooting him in the eye or mouth. The developers didnt know what the fuck they were doing. They added the sound of a shell casing drop on the floor for a fucking revolver. Revolvers keep the damn casing inside until emptied.
@@AllanElMelon1043 so what’s stopping him from being shot in the mouth or eye? And no this isn’t the Batman vs Superman movie if he’s shot point blank he will die and that’s consistent in all of the Arkham games which you should be looking at.
Nobody who complains about this scene talks about background music after he gets shot. We not only hear the sad melody of previous Arkham games, but also children running around and laughing. It's like the creators know that many of the players of this game played Arkham Asylum as kids, it represents their childhood. And this was their way of saying: "We killed your childhood. Here it is, lying dead. Deal with it"

I was expecting Brainiac to have forms of the JL characters but he only used the Flash for some reason. So poor for a final boss even if it's a live service
Oh but you see that dead shot is an impostor, and since we already had that answer as a bullshit cop out, that king shark was ALSO an impostor, we swear we studied the Arkham lore
@@zerocrashmuriloNope. An audio in the game reveals that the White Deadshot was, indeed, Deadshot. But from another Earth. A Deadshot with the same skills, bullets and weapon. Not the same, but not an "impostor".
Even Gotham Knights had a better plot for Batman... Batman died while actually putting up some sort of fight and seeing the batfamily taking over after him was actually made sense compared with whatever rocksteady did here. Also Arkham Batman suit makes him faster so ue could've easily done a multi fear takedown before he got shot like he did with Hush in Arkham Knight
@@windmaster9 i would say gotham city did try though the game was flawed. I can still commend them for at least trying. But this shit, naw man. Batman losing and those 4 bonkers unscathed in his batcave. I dont believe this is batman
It becomes increasingly evident that this game's attempts to pass itself off as a canon addition to the Arkham series are nothing short of a joke. Multiple plot-holes arise that undermine its legitimacy as a true extension of the Arkham universe. First of all, the inconsistencies with Batman's role in the game disrupt the established narrative. In Arkham Knight, Batman entrusts the Batfamily to protect Gotham while he disappears into the shadows due to his secret identity being exposed. However, in SSKJL, we are expected to believe that Batman can be brainwashed and manipulated to the point of killing the Batfamily. This sudden change contradicts the previous game and strains credibility. How can we accept that Batman, a symbol of mental strength and resilience, would succumb so easily to external control after everything he endured in Arkham Knight? It doesn't make any sense. Furthermore, what struck me as peculiar was the decision to change Deadshot's race in SSKTJL. Apparently, this change was driven by corporate decisions and the influence of Will Smith's portrayal of Deadshot in the Suicide Squad movie. It seems like they wanted to align the character with the actor's race. And then they tried to justify this change by claiming that the Deadshot we encountered in the previous Arkham games wasn't the real Deadshot. Now, that raises a whole bunch of questions. If Batman had already encountered the original Deadshot, how could he be fooled by an imposter? It just doesn't add up and once again exposes a glaring lack of attention to detail and disregard for the established lore. Most troubling of all is the absence of any mention of the Justice League in the Arkham games, which serves as a glaring plot hole in this game. Throughout the Arkham series, the existence of the Justice League as a united force is never acknowledged. This creates a significant disconnect, as the entire premise of the game revolves around the Suicide Squad taking on the Justice League. How can such a conflict occur in a universe where the Justice League was never established? The lack of continuity demonstrates a blatant disregard for the established lore and dismisses the intricate world-building that fans have come to appreciate. *TL;DR:* SSKTJL attempts to masquerade as a canon addition to the Arkham series, but its pretense crumbles under scrutiny. The inconsistencies with Batman's role, the corporate-driven race change for Deadshot, and the absence of any mention of the Justice League in the Arkham games expose a lack of respect for the established narrative and disregard for fan expectations. Rather than a seamless inclusion into the Arkham universe, the game comes across as a hasty and ill-conceived attempt to capitalize on the franchise's popularity. Not to mention, the game wasn't even made by the same devs who made the Arkham games (they went off to found Hundred Star Games), so it doesn't really matter what today's Rocksteady, or should I say "Sweet Baby Inc," think is canon. I wish more people understood this concept. There is more to a studio than its name.
this shouldn’t have ever been in the arkham verse. warner bros attached it to the universe for publicity, the characters don’t even resemble their arkham counterparts. Batman, harley, deadshot, robin are all so different with lousy or non existent explanations. Warner bros treated their fans and characters with disrespect through this whole process. I have sympathy for rocksteady who i’m sure didn’t want to make this and all of us seeing the universe we love butchered.
Yeah, Rocksteady may need to let DC games go, unfortunately. WB is ruining them. And yes, a lot of problems are solved if you just set this in its own universe. Make it an Elseworlds story. It is tied to Arkham, technically, even though it clearly wasn't meant to be.
This game taunts Arkham fans for loving the Arkham franchise 1. Harley rejects asylum costume from locker 2. Harley carries Batman the same way batman did 3. This Batman can't stop screaming "I am vengence, i am......" 4. Arkham Batman won't crack standup routine joke when facing death. 5. Harley defeated arkham batman with jer neurochemistry degree 💀 What happened to rocksteady mann 🤒
You forgot the worst one, he turns into a giant hallucination that you shoot at about 20000 times and then all the hallucination disappears and a bloody batman lays there.
- They managed to get The Mad Hatter’s name wrong in the museum. They called him Jarvis Tetch when it’s Jervis - somehow Cash was demoted to an Arkham Guard, somehow - the whole Deadshot imposter bs
Not just arkham fans, DC fans as well. The way they handled the whole lantern lore included John was awful, lantern rings don't work like that, John's bio sucked asf. And he shouldn't have been killed to begin with, i am glad Hal ain't in this game since at least it wasn't my goat that got killed, but John is one of my favs along with the rest of The JL, so seeing it end up like this hurts
I just realized, Alfred was with Bruce during the Knightfall ending, so I imagine he would’ve been helping him out with Batman stuff, but he never appears in the main game at all. Did he also get killed off-screen by evil Batman? Or maybe he died off-screen between games? I hope not, considering he was pretty much the primary supporting character in every Arkham game. He should’ve been the one eulogizing Batman at the end of the game. Having Lois Lane of all people doing it is odd considering she doesn’t do the same for Superman.
@@magita199160’s isn’t that old considering this game takes 5 years after knight so around 65 which even then isn’t that old in both our time and the Arkham verse
They act like Batman murdered an entire family and deserves to die, when in actuality the worst he did was punch a poor murderer too hard for some of the audience’s comfort. Harley has literally torn apart families with the countless Innocent bodies she has in her closet, why does this game treat Batman likes HE’S the serial killing clown that doesn’t get punished for said actions and is only seen as a traumatized victim?
@@raysure1345 I’ll still play it but only for the gameplay and the future seasons, I won’t lie the main campaign has its fun moments but overall, very sloppy
1:36 There's an audio log where batman records these exact lines and he tells Flash if this is actually the best use of their time to even record it. Bruce even says "Line.." meaning he didn't write it and is hinted at that Flash was the one who wrote the script.
Crazy thing is no matter what Harley has done she’s still evil in my eyes can’t and won’t forget about what her and joker did to those kids. She’ll never truly be a hero or be redeemed in my eyes.
They wrote this Harley like in Injustice or BAS lol, the Arkhamverse Harley has always been completely evil with no redeeming qualities in every Arkham game so far.
@@TDOTSE1In the Arkham games you get back stories from collecting riddler trophies. One of them talk about how the Joker and possibly Harley killed a bunch of kids and mutilated their bodys to be mixed up. She died and Harley gives her dad a pill made from the joker that kills the dad. And Jason goes after them for killing all of those kids. But he got captured and tortured.
They pull straight from recent Harley comics, and the SS movies of course because money. This DOES NOT work because Harley in this universe has not shown even a smudge of remorse once in any game.
what sucks is he did die a villain technically. Even though he was brainwashed he freaking killed Robin and for all we know the whole bat family off screen and ended up a murderer just like he always feared he would.

This game honestly wouldnt have nearly as much backlash for the story at least if it was just a game set in another universe, but they had to go and claim it was part of the Arkham universe. A new DC game from rocksteady would have been enough to get people interested, but in tying it to those game its just ended up a mess and shows how little the new studio cares for their own history. Imo this game has nothing to do with the Arkham games, that franchise ended with Arkham Knight.
FR there was NO FUCKING reason for it to take place in the Arkham universe. I remember how hype everyone was when Kill the Justice League was announced/leaked, and then I remember how doubly hyped we were when it was confirmed to be in the Arkham universe. BUT THEY FUCKED IT UP SO FUCKING BAD
None of the JL were acting like themselves so this could affect their combat ability if they were thinking differently right? Also Kevin Conroy knew what he was signing up for. Sadly as he is no longer with us they needed to wrap up his story.
that’s what i’m thinking. like he’s some alien hypnotised version of batman, why would he have complete control and understanding about himself but also be evil and completely under control at the same time!
Not even to mention that it should have been harder or impossible to mind control Batman since he already was almost mind controlled by Joker and he won. He should have escaped and helped the suicide squad, instead it was wonder woman who was not brainwashed even though she is the one who always charges at her enemies first , so it should have been easier to capture her already. So he should have made a contingency for mind control or something in general, rather than be a generic superhero.
@manohman8587 Man what u just said made no sense bruh, why are u comparing Scarecrow fear toxin control to the mind control of Brainiac who is an advanced alien wit advanced technology. That's not a good comparison my nigga, they are not the same

Probably a bit controversially, I actually prefer his suit in this game over Arkham Knights just a TINY bit. But the gauntlets in Suicide Squad are bad. If you mashed the two suits together, it would be a perfect semi-armoured suit
The batsuit in this game is nice. Superman's and greenlantern also have nice suits. I also like him without the cowl. I'm torn between it and the post Arkham city suit he wears in arkham knight (before getting the armored suit)

I can only assume so that when people inevitably ask “where was robin? Why wasn’t he helping Batman or the suicide squad” there’s an answer, he’s possibly dead so he couldn’t do anything
Bro i hate this game so mf much, whoever green lit this game I wish terrible things upon them. Disrespected the childhood of millions of gamers across the world, killed our beloved heroes in the most idiotic and disrespectful ways. Graphics were horrible. Main cast was annoying. Dialogue was cringe. Graphics are somehow worse than a 9 year old game. I have genuinely never been this angry about a piece of media.
I think Rocksteady knew killing off Arkham Batman was a terrible idea but just did it for the publicity. All the videos I see on SSKTJL are just on how they disrespected and nerfed Batman. Rocksteady needed Batman to die for people to talk about their game because without Batman's death, Suicide Squad is just a mediocre looter shooter.
they already had the Arkham series behind their back, more publicity is really not needed. keep in mind most if not all the people at rocksteady now are completely new and didnt work on the arkham series, so i think they really thought this was a good idea

Or alternatively, he should’ve been the one to kill Batman. He spent all of Arkham Knight trying to kill Batman out of hatred, but failed. Here, Jason succeeds in killing Batman but he doesn’t want to at this point because he patched things up with Bruce. Irony at its finest.
What I hate about every new shitty game is that someone in the comments always has a super simple solution that would've been infinitely cooler that it makes you wonder wtf the actual writers are busy doing.
The sheer incompetence of rocksteady. They show early on they know batman's appeal of him being stealthy and stalking the suicide squad. Nightmare batman should have been that on steroids, a Mr freeze like fight but more survival horror, where you are isolated and batman stalks you. You have to spot him in the dark or listen to sound queues to counter him when he is about to strike. That would have been cool and be a nice change of pace to have that in an otherwise action game. After the fear toxin wears off, it could be more of a traditional boss fight but it shouldn't be a bullet sponge fight, it should be tactical.
The thing that's wild to me is like, the Arkham games put Rocksteady on the map in a big way. It's super disrespectful not only to the character but to themselves too. A real shame
Not gonna lie, I imagined animated batman from "the brave and the bold" saying it, man, I miss that show, it was more cheesy than Cheetos, but it was also a love letter to silver age Batman, when you didn't need enough edge that only holding the game disc would provide several deep cuts.
@@Dewani90 I've got to admit that I don't usually like my Batman that way. All fantastical like that. But it WAS a good show. And Dietrich Bader is a good Batman too. The difference between that show and what I've seen of Batman's characterization in this game though; The Brave and the Bold was leaning into that silliness deliberately. If that's what this game was trying to do,I don't think it reads the way they wanted it to.
I had a fear grow in me when the founders of Rocksteady left. It's never a good sign when the oldest employees leave. I felt relieved a little bit with initial trailer, but as more and more kept coming out, I kinda kept that bit of fear. I was looking forward to the hopes that this game being good, but now I don't believe I will ever get it. This is not the Arkham universe. Arkham Batman ended with his family reunited, the disappearance of Bruce Wayne, a long shadowy figurine taking his place after a long Halloween night. He wouldn't be caught talking about his past to the general public, losing himself to someone's mind, killing others, losing to criminals he has beaten plenty of times, only to die only on a park bench. This is not the same knight that swore to protect the city of Gotham that we played. This isn't even the same company that made those games anymore. That company is gone. What was their work has just been mashed together with the movie universe, and now it sits as this game. I was hoping to buy it, but I probably never will.
It's so disheartening for a company that handled most of the characters with care, then go do this... I was kinda hoping for there to be a twist where Batman breaks out of the mind control or for him to get captured in the end game... but no- sadly we got what we got. Hopefully they will redeem themselves with an actual continuation of the story... but for now, Knight is where the cannon ends for me.
@JamyBot I don't expect there to be a redemption. The only thing I'll be looking forward to is to whatever Jamie Walker and Sefton Hill do with their new company, Hundred Stars Studios.
@@muffinmcmuffin9849 I think it was Piratesoftwear that said "the studio isn't the company, the studio is it people in it..." or something like that. Looking forward to what they do

Then we get this heaping dump of a dumpster fire that does not care about the fan base nor everyone’s childhood for that matter. It is so sad to see a generation so mad and getting disrespected like this
I kind of felt the same way about Bat feeling out of character in his speech at the Hall of Justice. Couldn't put my finger on exactly why, but I think you summarized it well.
Honestly agreed on this, but with the museum hologram, it's for kids, and in audio, he says he doesn't want to say this, really. And then with Ivy well its not her, really it's basically her kid. And with Tim i don't think he's dead as his body isn't there. But the bossfight is literally somehow Harley got a Fear toxin formula from Crane in Arkham and overdoses the Squad on it. And again with the bossfight he literally uses the disruptor on their tech, but for some reason, he doesn't use it on their guns, which he can make EXPLODE. Along with having explosive batarangs, freeze grenades, the rec gun, and the disruptor alone would be enough to stop them
like bro in arkham knight you cant disrupt a brutes minigun twice cause it would kill him (which he literally tells you) why cant he disrupt king sharks minigun??

thank you for breaking down the whole thing. this is not a lack of knowledge on the writers part, it’s deliberately degrading and i’d even say evil to all the people who paid their bills and praised them for a decade. one thing you forgot to mention which is disgusting to me is the emphasis on how batman is carried. he is at the brink of death(inexplicably), and harley wants revenge for the way he carried her in arkham knight. fans joked about her ass, and it was funny because she wasn’t a bloodied barely alive zombie. the camera focuses on his ass and legs for a disturbing amount of time in two separate cutscenes, one with harley and one with shark carrying him. there is even a loading screen of harley trying to pick him up, clearly structured to make it look like her raping his corpse. the people responsible for this need serious professional mental help.
A better boss fight would have been like this: The Suicide Squad gets some miracle tech that allows them to see Batman everywhere, as if he has nowhere else to run or hide. So, if the battle is in the city, he will try to surprise the squad and use the fear toxin to his advantage. The hallucinations would make the battle more unique, as he appears out of nowhere, tries to shoot them, or throw batarang, but they counter him , and every time he gets shot, he uses a smoke bomb and tries to escape, but they chase him, essentially not letting him escape until he's overwhelmed and defeated.
To be fair. What he said in the hologram is pretty good if you remember that this entire thing is basically designed for little kids. So i think it would fit for him to be a little light hearted.
Lol yes I hope it’s hush and they get someone who sounds like Kevin and make Batman Arkham world where Batman wakes up from a bad dream and it turns out the writers of rocksteady were hypnotizing him for money but he breaks out and breaks his no killing rule just to kill all of them.

The thing he says in the museum is just for PR, listen to the audio tapes. He doesn’t want to do them. I liked the game but yes it has major plotholes.
Agreed. Arkham Batman’s legacy was completely disrespected in this game. Regarding your point about Harley’s personality, in Arkham Asylum the character was still played by her original voice actress, Harleen Sorking, who worked on Harley just as she had in the animated series. Consequently, when the mantle was passed on to Tara Strong in the following games, the latter had to work to keep the character consistent within the established franchise. On the other hand, since this game focuses on the suicide squad, the developers decided to go with Harley’s live action version. Further proofs of this are Deadshot and Joker’s character designs which are meant to resemble Will Smith and Jared Leto respectively. Yet another reason why this game should not be considered canon.
You know what also gets me about the Batman Boss fight. Harely basically pulled a reverse uno on BATMAN. Basically turning his own chemicals against him.
I saw comments suggesting something that I think would've completely fix the story. Imagine that it would be Batman who'll help the squad instead of Wonder Woman. Imagine that instead of re-appearing publicly as pretty much the same Batman he would've kept his new mysterious appearance and methods that we witnessed in the end of Arkham Knight, and that his involvment with the justice league would be a secret. The brainwashing of his friends will be the thing that'll encourage him to "step out of the shadows" and help the squad defeating them.
Yes, very clearly a better option. Plus it would continue with character from where Arkham Knight left off, and satisfactorily answer what happened to Bruce after the Knightfall Protocol.
@@zombieguns37 yeah, you're right. It is tricky. There was that scene where Wonder Woman caught Flash in the Lasso of truth and he said that the only way to stop the justice league is to kill them. That was a great scene. So imagine that it would be Batman who'll catch Diana with her own lasso, and she'll say the same thing to Bruce. Maybe that'll convince him, like it convinced him to not save Ra's Al Ghul in that Arkham Knight DLC.

Just saved me $70. I was willing to give it a chance on sale, mostly just to see Batman, and, well… this is the nail in the coffin for this game. Hopefully they do better in the future :(
The batman fight, they just copied Scarecrow fight. Which...he didnt do anything but stand there and wave his hands, shoot lazer beams. If could of been SO much better.
Actualy if they took away the pool of blood and gave us a batman fight like asylume scarecrow fights i would be way happier my only complains after that are him saying I am vengeance so much and harleys speech at the end. Im ok with the suicide squads jokes it is what they do and I'm ok with a send off on the bench but the way that sendoff was handled is the problem.
And his overreaction after being interuppted ahhhhhh. The guy went toe to tow with bane. Arkham asylum shows that the back breaking event did occur in the past. In origins which was canon as well he goes against a young formidable bane, gets thrown through walls with small grunts of pain. But a needle injection from luthor is enough to make yell out.
What makes his death scene worse is that he basically died the same way his parents did when he was 8; helpless and gun down. That's just depressing as hell.
I recently got into the Arkham games, and from what I’ve played so far even Arkham *Asylum* Batman would be able to take them on, but this is set after Arkham Knight, when Batman became the strongest he’s ever been.
It’s pretty obvious due to the Sweet Baby Inc influence that this game sort of has it out to completely bring down the male lead of this series and put Harley in his place because strong female character. Same reason why she doesn’t wear the costume at the beginning like everyone else does, same reason she acts like a completely different character, same reason Wonder Woman somehow has the role in the game that Batman would logically have? It’s sad that they have forced an agenda into a series that was never preaching about shit like that but was just enjoyable art.
On top of this, they retcon Harley to make it like she hated Joker or something? Which again, does not fall in line with literally her entire character in the whole series.
I mean the line I am Vengeance, I am the night, I am Batman... bro that's literally Kevin's iconic line... like nahh bro I'm a huge batman fan that line made me so sad especially how they ended batman....this game pissed me off beyond belief as a batman animated series fan
Completely agree with all of this. Thank you! Also two more things. Brainiac says that he can bring TFX to their full potential…so does that mean he had the JL to their full potential and they still lost to TFX? That’s actually so stupid. Also Batman bat symbol isn’t the weak point in the boss fight. Smh🤦🏼♂️
They should’ve had Batman beat the shit out of all of them, but before he kills them one of the Suicide Squad somehow deactivates Brainiac’s control on him. This was their plan because they knew they couldn’t beat Batman and he would also be the only one to help them defeat Superman.
A lot of you brought up that he did bring up Jason Todd at the end and his hologram is a speech aimed towards kids. Y’all are right, my bad haha, but I still think my points I made on those (his dialogue in the game being off and Jason not considered his “friend”) still apply!
Sweet baby inc could be responsible for the terrible writing
One thing that I should be taken note of is that if you listen to the audio logs in the game it is revelaed the hologram lines were a literal script written by the other memebers of the league for Batman to read which he finds annoying and pointless and didn't want to do them
I don’t understand why you pick a part the game when the game is that way because of this new woke culture that always needs to be addressed until it stops this progressive message. First source material later is why this game is so awful. Be fearless speak your mind

Batman could defeat them all with one gadget: Disrupter
HOW WILL YOU SHOOT BATMAN WHEN YOUR GUNS ARE DISABLED?
Right
What's even more annoying is the game says the disruptor WAS actually used, it's why they can't use their special abilities.

Tim Drake being killed off screen is horrendously written WOW and upon further watching I'm sure all fans will agree this is not cannon at all.
And what is the point of him dying he is never addressed in the story and if they didn’t have him die the game would still be the same
@@neridust4178 After seeing more about the game I'm convinced the writers were trying to make the game as insulting as possible to Arkham fans, the reason, not really sure, maybe they thought it was gonna be funny? Taken as a joke? Well I guess they were somewhat right, it's a joke.

At least they can only pull that shit once, no ones going to give a shit about the game or any of the New Rocksteady's games after this.
they already had the Arkham series behind their back, more publicity is really not needed. keep in mind most if not all the people at rocksteady now are completely new and didnt work on the arkham series, so i think they really thought this was a good idea
@@reykhan2453exactly, there's no payoff to this. Rocksteady and their new crew of morons are dead on arrival.
@@Plutophob1athe truth is they knew it was a bad idea but did it anyway because it's not targeted at the fans. Same mindset and situation like current Marvel and Star Wars.
They were so preocuppied with the thought of if they could that they never stopped and thought if they should.
How cool would it have been if Jason Todd was the one to bring Batman back after Batman was the one to bring him back in Arkham Knight.
^*THIS*^
+ he used guns, perfect member to join the Squad. Gameplay wise easy peacy to code. Him not being here again confirmed that Rocksteady doesn’t care about Arkham games.
Batman would just come back as Zar En AR.
Man when I seen Robin's mask my heart dropped 😔
Man! You aren't kidding! That speech Batman gives is INSANELY cheesy!!! That is some baaaad writing right there!
Not gonna lie, I imagined animated batman from "the brave and the bold" saying it, man, I miss that show, it was more cheesy than Cheetos, but it was also a love letter to silver age Batman, when you didn't need enough edge that only holding the game disc would provide several deep cuts.
@@Dewani90 agreed.

Looking forward to what they do
@JamyBot I don't think I have seen that particular short, but I'm familiar with Thor, and that does sound like something he would say.
THIS RIGHT HERE! This is exactly how I feel about this. Don’t get me wrong the first trailers looked pretty lit. Then we get this heaping dump of a dumpster fire that does not care about the fan base nor everyone’s childhood for that matter. It is so sad to see a generation so mad and getting disrespected like this
I kind of felt the same way about Bat feeling out of character in his speech at the Hall of Justice. Couldn't put my finger on exactly why, but I think you summarized it well.
arkham batman would not lose a fight in his own batcave against escpecially to a group of misfits with big weaknesses.
Along with having explosive batarangs, freeze grenades, the rec gun, and the disruptor alone would be enough to stop them
He used the disrupter from City which doesn’t have the same capabilities as the Knight disrupter that’s why he doesn’t explode the guns
@@alexhambleton00 he should logically have both as this is post Knight and the one from Knight would be out of the prototype stage now

7:49 Batman DOES mention Jason telling the batfamily to try and recruit him if they can
thank you for breaking down the whole thing. this is not a lack of knowledge on the writers part, it’s deliberately degrading and i’d even say evil to all the people who paid their bills and praised them for a decade. one thing you forgot to mention which is disgusting to me is the emphasis on how batman is carried. he is at the brink of death(inexplicably), and harley wants revenge for the way he carried her in arkham knight. fans joked about her ass, and it was funny because she wasn’t a bloodied barely alive zombie. the camera focuses on his ass and legs for a disturbing amount of time in two separate cutscenes, one with harley and one with shark carrying him. there is even a loading screen of harley trying to pick him up, clearly structured to make it look like her raping his corpse. the people responsible for this need serious professional mental help.
He did mention Jason when talking about how to take himself down but it IS very brief. It implies that they’re not on the best terms.
To be fair. What he said in the hologram is pretty good if you remember that this entire thing is basically designed for little kids. So i think it would fit for him to be a little light hearted.
This is not even the Same Harley Quinn at all from the Arkham Games to me.
She doesn't even talk the same. This feels like Injustice Harley
Treat it as a different dimension Arkham Batman. That brings some comfort
Mf gotta be a clone or some shi

Nah it gotta be Hush.
Lol yes I hope it’s hush and they get someone who sounds like Kevin and make Batman Arkham world where Batman wakes up from a bad dream and it turns out the writers of rocksteady were hypnotizing him for money but he breaks out and breaks his no killing rule just to kill all of them.
Maybe it's too much, but I honestly consider this game one of worst games ever. At least judging by the amount of negative emotions, which it coused for me

Personal conspiracy theory here: they made this set in the Arkhamverse just to have Kevin as Batman's voice actor. I bet he thought that he needed to do it, since it continued the Arkhamverse. Kevin knew Batman better than the rest of us. Im sure he noticed the odd inconsistent story.

That’s all these characters are, there literally so blunt about themselves.
Yeah have him pick up the cowl one last time the only problem I can see is how he would feel about them killing the league
I thought Harley beating Nightwing in Arkham episodes was a stretch, but THIS???
That's was complete bullsh*t she shouldn't be touching Nightwing. Iwould've believed it if he was held by ivy's vine for Harley to beat him and even then it should've been hard.

@abraxasnewdawn Wb didn't force anything. It was Rocksteady and that's it. Seriously use your bloody head next Time.

This was their plan because they knew they couldn’t beat Batman and he would also be the only one to help them defeat Superman.
cant reverse brainiacs mind control, its practically impossible, you would literally need an entire new brain
