Actually the S.K animal shelter according to the in-game lore is a shelter opened in the 80s that Bruce, Dick, and Alfred got Ace from that Bruce regularly donates to and there's a reference to Selina as there's a "young lady" that stops by to see the cats and always donates money and food every week. I agree in this version of Batman though and even as Bruce Wayne he was the billionaire, playboy, and more specifically the philanthropist that Bruce Wayne should be. The in-game lore for the landmarks even shows this and dialog says he was involved with many charities. Though I wish he wasn't so suicidal. He had many opportunities to survive but doesn't really take them even in the end where he could've lived and saved the family. And Bruce and Jason's relationship is honestly the way it should be in the comics now. Jason here has matured and moved on with his life instead of instigating fights with the family and Bruce and his arc in the game he's grown to accept that everyone similar to Bruce isn't going to treat him like he was going to snap

Nothing wrong with that per se, but I love versions where he tries to be a good father and has a good relationship with his kids. That final cutscene had me ugly crying when I first played the game. It just summed up Bruce’s character and the family’s relationships with each other perfectly.
I honestly enjoyed Gotham Knights. I know I’m in the minority there. As said in the video, the characterizations were great (loved how they twisted Clayface’s search for identity). The graphics are not the best, but there something with the environmental designs like Star Labs, the court’s layout or the Penguin’s club that stuck with me. The gameplay is nothing special. It’s not good, it’s not bad. Sometimes you’ll have fun, sometimes it can bother you, really depends. Overall, it wasn’t the best game, but I had some enjoyment to be honest.
as much as I dislike Gotham Knights' gameplay and UI, I do think its characters and dialogue are great and the story is fairly decent as well as the map, miles better than SSKTJL. I think a game focused around Batman in this universe would work great especially if it was arkham esc

"Gotham needs a protector without blood on their hands" And I find it funny that he made a death message for each of his villains XD This version of Batman feels so human especially with his interactions with the bat family and his audio log about Jason's death and hearing Bruce breakdown at the end

I will say that one thing I like with the lore of Gotham Knights over the Arkham games is that Batman has been around for 15 years. It is to me, a lot more realistic than Batman being around for 10 years at that point in Arkham Knight. With the whole Arkham series taking place over 10 years, it feels like so much essential lore was crammed in 10 years like all the Robins, Batgirl, etc. Also, without the audio tapes establishing more depth for the characters, it would have made the members of the Batfamily seem like stand ins for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles basically

I think youre being a little unfair with Arkham Batman. joker's death, him being infected with the joker disease and the events of Arkham vr are probably what made Batman push his friend away that much
It’s still so crazy a game that could easily follow up on the ending to Arkham knight wasn’t part of the Arkhamverse, but the game where you play as the suicide squad, fighting against THE JUSTICE LEAGUE, is part of the arkhamverse Even IF the game was good, written incredibly well, followed up perfectly in terms of gameplay, etc, I still would ask why they chose to have it be a new entry to the Arkham universe
It's a really good turn your brain off and just grind kind of game, it's heresy like you say, but it's the only game I've gotten the battle pass completed. When I get extremely bored and the battle pass is out, I just complete it, takes about 7 days of boredom, nothing more.

I dunno, I don't like how they showcase Nightwing as a moron at some moments, like when Tim and Barb are discussing evidence he acts like he doesn't know what is going on at all. And the gameplay, I can't really it's super grindy and tedious to get the skills and traversal for all characters.
I neither played Gotham Knights nor SSKTJL. But watching cutscenes of Gotham Knights was enjoyable. Whereas watching SSKTJL cutscenes felt retarded. Only good moments in SSKTJL were superman killing wonder woman, flash killing Luther, flash intimidating the suicide squad, batman scaring the suicide squad and flash saving the suicide squad from batman. That's it. Everything else was like it's written by someone high on literal shit. There was no shortage of good and cool moments in Gotham Knights.

No she didn't Batman let himself get caught in that DLC. Harley has never beaten Batman in 1v1 fight in the Arkhamverse. She caught him off guard. She basically got lucky.

I dunno, I don't like how they showcase Nightwing as a moron at some moments, like when Tim and Barb are discussing evidence he acts like he doesn't know what is going on at all. And the gameplay, I can't really it's super grindy and tedious to get the skills and traversal for all characters.

I neither played Gotham Knights nor SSKTJL. But watching cutscenes of Gotham Knights was enjoyable. Whereas watching SSKTJL cutscenes felt retarded.
Only good moments in SSKTJL were superman killing wonder woman, flash killing Luther, flash intimidating the suicide squad, batman scaring the suicide squad and flash saving the suicide squad from batman. That's it. Everything else was like it's written by someone high on literal shit.
There was no shortage of good and cool moments in Gotham Knights.
I played this last year, I enjoyed it but it's not perfect and could have been better

I really enjoyed the easy gameplay of gotham knights as an arkham fan but the story is rubbish and so i skipped most cutscenes the beice wayne fight was way to easy tho
I think Damian wayne should have been apart of this game cuz of al ghul bits or at least a dlc story

No she didn't Batman let himself get caught in that DLC. Harley has never beaten Batman in 1v1 fight in the Arkhamverse. She caught him off guard. She basically got lucky.

Eh while ssktjl did ruin arkhamverse I also dont care for Gothem Knights had batman break his no kill rule, weird out of place speach by batman at the end if game before he murders the court of owls and himsepf, the court of owls were mere shadows of there comic selfs if even that, to many live service eliments and missions all in all not tye worst but Ill stick with tye Arkham games minus ssktjl of course and hope we get another better shot at the Court of Owls in the future
