15 years…. The Arkham Series went for 15 years with KC as Batman. One of the best portrayals of the character ever, and it’s the last thing he ever did as Batman before he died, and to have this be how it ends… it’s just tragic.
I am ok with the heroes dying. I am NOT ok with how they are dying. None of it is clever at all. The Batman Boss fight is a fucking Marvel Movie CGI Monster fight. It should have been a lights shut off, predator ninja terror fight. Each fight to take down a hero should leave the Suicide Squad hurting and broken and just barely make it. Maybe even sacrifice 1 each time. With a solemn feeling of regret at each hero and squad member's passing. Instead we got Ghostbusters 2016 Humor and Tone pissing all over beloved characters.
The game should have been another batman game where batman meets the justice league, the brainiac invasion happens and as the newest member of the league he escapes and has to save them. Using his wits he could have just captured the justice league, without killing them, and the final battle could have been an epic fight between batman and superman with you as the player needing to use all of the tech you have acquired throughout the game to try to not immediately die in the hardcore boss fight. This could have even been a live service, after the main story you can now play as the justice league characters and take on missions fighting a rouge lex or something. Such a missed opportunity...
Somehow Brainiac’s mind control not only made the Justice League much dumber, but also much less effective at using their own powers/abilities. Might as well just made them empty headed zombies. That would’ve been a less disrespectful take than this 🐴 💩

Assault on Arkham is awesome. And the SS team is actually better potrrayed and cooler in that movie than here. Harley and Deadshot are atrocious in this game. They're awesomely executed in Assault.
@@Darthvegeta8000I have to agree. I'm not a Marvel or DC fan, but Assault on Arkham is a genuinely enjoyable experience to watch. I've come to learn that I enjoy the animated films more than the live-action ones
Assault on Arkham nailed how Batman would be able to handle the SS. Would have been a better game plus seeing Deadshot (THE REAL DEADSHOT) outsmarting Waller would’ve been great.
A bunch people in the game are dead in the Arkhamverse. Waller and King Shark die in the movie and apparently Captain Boomerang is dead in the comics of the sama universe
The setup to a good story is RIGHT THERE. Replace wonder woman’s role in the story with Batman, coming out of hiding to help the squad stop the league with his contingencies
Honestly though, in what universe would Batman go against his judgement on going on to brainiacs ship. I could see everyone else going and Bruce staying behind to study brainiac and preparing to activate his protocols. Why would one of the best fighters in the league and smartest member risk himself when he has more combat knowledge.

They should have made Brainiacs invasion the reason Batman comes back and they either should have swap Wonder Woman and Batmans roles or have Batman team up with Wonder Woman. Instead of going to an alternate universe to get another Lex Luthor they should have gone to Batman or Batman finds them.
I think it's because batman has had several main roles in different DCU games and media, so they wanted this different by having Wonderwoman as the main heroine, which I don't mind and think its fitting for a character all about honour and stuff. But the problems with that is, firstly, we haven't seen anything about Wonderwoman's character outside of suicide squad, so there's an emotional disconnect when she dies, especially since the other hero's got no remorse from the suicide squad, but for some reason they show respect to her? I understand several of them had negative relationships with the other hero's, but those relationships extended from "oh no, I did something shitty and you locked me away for it", which if Wonderwoman was there, she would do the exact same thing, so it certainly feels off. As for Batman, I definitely think they could of used such a beloved character better. In my opinion it would of been so good if Suicide Squad was set in a different universe from Arkham games, but then they traveled to the Arkham universe to recruit that Batman out of hiding, and then from there I feel like they I could of gone down several different routes. Maybe the entire event would of inspired batman to return in his universe? Maybe hunt down and see if there are different versions of superman and stuff in his universe? Help prepare and make counter measures for the different versions of Brainiac? Or maybe they could of had an open ending and had the entire thing as a final goodbye, idk.
Hell, just make it a new Batman solo game where he finds a way to free the Justice League, it could've been the proper setup and reason for joining them instead of Superman coming out of nowhere and asking him
The ironic thing is that the original concept was to have the Suicide Squad Team up with Batman to save the Justice League. But they discover Batman's contingency plans incase things goes tits up and he has to take them out. That would have been great, but oh no ........ Let's talk about the game company that disrespected the IP, characters and fans cuz the money makes it go down easy, doesn't it? Not they will make a lot.
That actually sounds like a cool idea and would've made more sense in the Arkham universe than just deciding to kill off the entire Arkham Justice League the first time we finally get to see them

@YodaOnABender Yes, it does, especially seeing as how Tim Drake has been an established character since before you were swimming in your dad's nuts. Changing a character with set morals and values does in fact make them _less cool,_ because he was never gay or "bi sexual" at all. If they want a gay character, they need to make one and leave existing characters alone. Nice try, though.
Batman's role in the story should've been swapped with Wonder Woman. Him being in hiding from the end of Knight is a good excuse for how he evades brainiac capture and he can inform the squad better on how to take down the justice league. I also dont get why Wonder Woman gets the heroic death and not the character who we played as through 4 whole games?!
@johnb.8977 Nope. If we stuck to the ending of arkham knight then batman wouldn't have have gotten involved until it was too late as he wouldn't have been in metropolis. It still doesn't make sense why we should care more for a character who was only introduced vs one who we played as through 3 whole games. I refused to believe Batman died like this. We have an entire game about Batman fighting against mind control. At least he should show some sort of will power. But nah, they have to do him in the dirtiest way, destroy their own legacy, put Kevin Conroy's legacy into the mud and treat their fanbase like a bunch of idiots. What a joke Joker didn't get into Batman's head, but money properly has taken over Rocksteady's CEO
The rocksteady of today is not the same one that made the legacy and respected it. All of the those people have wisely left the company to start their own now.
this game is an alternate universe arkham you can tell it is because king shark is dead in assault on arkham and captain boomerang got shot point blank in a comic
Reminder that Zur-En-Arhh is canon in the Arkhamverse. You know, the secret alternate personality Batman created in his own mind, to take over and continue Batmanning in the event of one of Batman's enemies attempting to mind control him? The very thing that happens in this game? Not to mention he has superhuman mental fortitude in the first place, keeping a cool head and powering through direct fear toxin exposure on multiple occasions (we see what it does to other people), taking back control from ANOTHER alternate personality after it takes over his mind (the Joker), and fighting his way through elaborate Mad Hatter mindscrews on several occasions. Even without Zur-En-Arhh to fall back on, he's the one Leaguer who seems least likely to fall victim to Brainiac's mind control. And then there's the fact that he didn't fight the Squad the way he normally does anyway. In the beginning of the game, he hides in the shadows and picks them all off one at a time, using silent takedowns reminiscent of the ones he used in the Arkham games. During the Batcave section of the game, he actually has them all separated, and has the perfect opportunity to do the same thing all over again, but with lethal force. Instead, he just kind of... sprays explosive gel all over the walls and floors and occasionally glides very slowly directly toward the Squad members. Like... bro, what? That's not Batman. "He wants to break their minds, he's trying to scare them." Okay, but when they don't crumple into a terrified fetal ball on the floor, and they just keep countering him, maybe it's time to quit playing around and just be pragmatic, something Batman has never had a problem with in the past. Before, if he got in over his head, he would smoke out, hide on a gargoyle, and come up with a new strategy on the spot. This Batman... it's like he wanted to die. During the big fight, he literally just stood in one place throwing fire (probably actually batarangs) while the Squad continued to pepper him with automatic weapons. Arkham Batman would never do that, even if he was brainwashed and evil. "But Harley's beaten him before, and she could have killed him in either Arkham City or Harley Quinn's Revenge! And he underestimated her!" That doesn't change the fact that this fight made no sense, the Batman we knew and loved and played as for all those years was a master tactician, but here he just acted like a fool. Him losing wasn't the problem. I mean... it's irritating, since he's the player character in a beloved video game franchise, one of the best received versions of the character ever, but if they want to kill him off, fine. But here they gave him the L simply by making him act completely out of character. Imagine how much better it would have been if he and Wonder Woman swapped places in the story? If he died fighting and weakening Superman so that the Suicide Squad could ultimately take him out? A hero's death, not an idiot's.
He didn't just take them out immediately in the bat cave part because he was trying to get all 3 of the challenge map medals. You know, glide kick into ground take down on king shark, use the voice synthesizer to trick Deadshot, and stun Harley with explosive gel into a ground take down. I'm just joking around, but like for real why is the actual fight part just a worse version of the ps4 exclusive scarecrow nightmare challenge maps from Knight? Like no really it's the same except there's no cool drive through the city and scarecrow actually spawned in enemies so you weren't just holding shoot while he stood there.
The idea that Harley could actually beat Batman (specifically this one, there are incarnations of her with a chance) is laughable considering how every time they “fight” in the Arkham games, he has THRASHED her to the point that calling any of them “fights” is a stretch. This universe’s Harley Quinn is not nearly strong or skilled enough to pose a physical threat to him. Honestly, the whole lineup of the Squad in this game was confusing. If Rocksteady wanted them winning to be even close to believable, they needed some heavier hitters and better tacticians. Why not get Zod, Sinestro, Bane, Deathstroke, or even Captain Cold on the team? Instead we get a joke of a rival to Flash, two people who have lost to Batman MULTIPLE TIMES (even if this Deadshot is different, it can’t be enough of a difference to change that outcome), and just one character with actual superpowers. Arm them all with guns and we’re supposed to believe they can beat the Flash, Green Lantern, Batman and SUPERMAN?
@@deathsdoor07 It's in vogue to hate Batman right now within the industry. There have been reports about prospective hires having to tell employers why Batman is a fascist and worse. It's messed up.
Batman is as susceptible to mind control as any leaguer and has before. They all have strong defenses. That's what's annoying about the comments I've seen. You're okay with people who have greater mental capacity, mental abilities, as strong will ect. But Batman is the line. Basically the complaints are people who drank the bat wank cool aid that hurts the character be who he really is.
The game's script was outsourced to one of those ESG companies called sweet baby. They were heavily responsible for a lot of the game's story and development. there isn't anyone left from the old guard, all of the og creators of the Arkham games have also long left Rocksteady. This new suicide squad game was made from a combined effort of new inexperienced devs and an ideologically driven consulting firm. Both that held zero respect for the legacy of what came before. is it any wonder that writings shit.
You know, if Batman turned evil, I would've liked to see him destroy himself. Like he can tell he's changed and the mission is so clear in his head, he can tell what went wrong, loads up the Suicide Squad, wishes them luck and when they complain that he could help them, he reveals its taken all of his ability to fight through the control. He cant keep it up forever, he seals the batcave, and lets it detonate, killing him and destroying the batcomputer that Brainiac was using to control certain areas. It writes itself.
That would’ve been epic. He defeats the Suicide Squad, through sheer willpower he overcomes Brainiac’s mind control, spares them, gives them his contingency plans, and sacrifices himself to save Earth. But what did we get: “Are you done with your bad stand up routine?”
I would say it's 20x better what we got, but since what we got is in the negative in term of quality, it would be insulting. It could be said that Bruce Wayne is Batman costume, not the opposite. Not just that he fights crime by the night, this literally what is life is, fighting against crimes. I know that might sound like plot-armor, but I think he would be one of the most resistant guy to mind control (excluding natural resistance) if it implies killing innocents or even criminals, to about the same extent someone like Flash and even more than superman simply because of the trauma of his childhood. This all depends on the author and the universe though (like in some universe we actually try to have the Bruce Wayne side be more important, but in the Arkham verse, we have Batman's story, not Bruce Waynr).
@@themarc7108To support this: Batman in many iterations has been taken over by ghosts or mind controllers. And when it happens 2 things would usually happen: Either 1: the person trying to enter his brain would be forced out because his mental defenses are so strong that even Deadman couldn’t use his body for longer than a handful of seconds Or 2: it’s revealed that yea, a guy who can get his hands of YELLOW LANTERN RINGS, KRYPTONITE AND MAGIC BULLETS THAT GO FASTER THAN THE FLASH also just so happens to have built-in mind control procedures in his suit, namely resistive materials or something that’d disable his access to his arsenal if he was compromised (The Batman Who Laughs doesn’t count). Also of note: he has canonically beaten the fear toxin and a jokersona trying to mess with his mind. Brainiac is strong, he’s smart but Batman’s mental wards are strong, too. At least enough to give him some time to kill himself, which i imagine he’d prefer over him killing others.
Isn't there a super robot that batman created specifically to kill him just in case he gets mind controlled. And it is also designed to be able to stop the other members of the JL just in case they try to stop it.
It's pretty sad that we will never hear Kevin conroys voice again as batman... the animated series, movies, and the arkham games are just amazing! Rip Mr Conroy

LMAO, Bro I was thinking the same thing. They're shooting a huge Batman-like figure. But no matter where they shot the bullets still hit Batman? Like c'mon, this game is sooo fucking bad.
Very unlike Batman. Upon closer examination of SSKTJL, it becomes increasingly evident that the game's attempts to pass itself off as a canon addition to the Arkham series are nothing short of a joke. Multiple plot-holes arise that undermine its legitimacy as a true extension of the Arkham universe. First of all, the inconsistencies with Batman's role in the game disrupt the established narrative. In Arkham Knight, Batman entrusts the Batfamily to protect Gotham while he disappears into the shadows due to his secret identity being exposed. However, in SSKJL, we are expected to believe that Batman can be brainwashed and manipulated to the point of killing the Batfamily. This sudden change contradicts the previous game and strains credibility. How can we accept that Batman, a symbol of mental strength and resilience, would succumb so easily to external control after everything he endured in Arkham Knight? It doesn't make any sense. Furthermore, what struck me as peculiar was the decision to change Deadshot's race in SSKTJL. Apparently, this change was driven by corporate decisions and the influence of Will Smith's portrayal of Deadshot in the Suicide Squad movie. It seems like they wanted to align the character with the actor's race. And then they tried to justify this change by claiming that the Deadshot we encountered in the previous Arkham games wasn't the real Deadshot. Now, that raises a whole bunch of questions. If Batman had already encountered the original Deadshot, how could he be fooled by an imposter? It just doesn't add up and once again exposes a glaring lack of attention to detail and disregard for the established lore. Most troubling of all is the absence of any mention of the Justice League in the Arkham games, which serves as a glaring plot hole in this game. Throughout the Arkham series, the existence of the Justice League as a united force is never acknowledged. This creates a significant disconnect, as the entire premise of the game revolves around the Suicide Squad taking on the Justice League. How can such a conflict occur in a universe where the Justice League was never established? The lack of continuity demonstrates a blatant disregard for the established lore and dismisses the intricate world-building that fans have come to appreciate. *TL;DR:* SSKTJL attempts to masquerade as a canon addition to the Arkham series, but its pretense crumbles under scrutiny. The inconsistencies with Batman's role, the corporate-driven race change for Deadshot, and the absence of any mention of the Justice League in the Arkham games expose a lack of respect for the established narrative and disregard for fan expectations. Rather than a seamless inclusion into the Arkham universe, the game comes across as a hasty and ill-conceived attempt to capitalize on the franchise's popularity. Not to mention, the game wasn't even made by the same devs who made the Arkham games (they went off to found Hundred Star Games), so it doesn't really matter what today's Rocksteady, or should I say "Sweet Baby Inc," think is canon. I wish more people understood this concept. There is more to a studio than its name.
@@justinvarghese9589 The game’s explanation for the Justice League part is that the Justice League didn’t exist until after Arkham Knight. It was formed a few years after arkham knight ended
If they wanted a black character that was just recently used in the movies, all they had to do was use Bloodsport. Idris Elba's character in THe Suicide Squad and there would be no issues at all with Deadshot's continuity. Instead we are supposed to believe the white one, who had been in the games, and an arkham movie, is the imposter. Why? Because we're told that, and he's white?
My guess is that they tried to convince the others to change the story and gameplay and when they said no there were like bye and those agreed with them went as well.
I always felt weird with how willingly batman is too kill in this Batman in other universes has been able to resist mind control when it comes to killing
I can buy that as brainiac mind control was just that good, heck maybe it can puppet the body if the mind resists. Heck maybe Batman resisting was the reason he can be beaten in the first place.
@@brendenhawley2225Actually. Batman resisting inside his head and letting them kill him before he can kill anyone is such a good idea. Just have a contingency log that explains that and your golden. Also do the entire cutscene better where this is obvious. You got a good Batman death, hooray
@@Data-Expungededit'd be so cool if we could visibly see batman holding himself back from actually doing anything that could hurt the suicide squad, it would've been such a good detail
Imagine how cool it would be if we had a Joker DLC to the game where We play as the Joker that Batman locked up in his mind. And thanks to Brainiac taking control, Joker is released and as the dlc progresses we destroy the influence of Brainiac and reclaim Batman's mind since Joker hates no other thing more then someone doing something better Well that can't be fixed now that they put lead into his brain, effectively ending a possibly cool and interesting plot point for their OWN FCKIN FUTURE OF THE GAME!
Be so fr, who actually wanted a Suicide Squad game to begin with? I knew something was off when they revealed a suicide squad game instead of an Arkham sequel, a batfamily game, Superman or Justice League game. That was already the first red flag that the SS, the team notorious for flopping, was getting a game before any of that.
no one wanted Suicide Squad it's just that some game developers are allergic to making stuff that people actually want it's like going to an Ice cream shop and asking for strawberry and the ice cream worker is like nah I'll give you chocolate I know you didn't ask for chocolate but I like chocolate so imma give you chocolate
I think it's just a current trend of being anti-hero to traditional heroes. Pointing what people see as flaws or mistakes and just shitting on them in favor of villians or groups like the suicide squad.
Actually the Suicide Squad comic runs are among my favourites in my collection. Both classic, N52 and Rebirth. HOWEVER they barely act like their comic counterparts. It's like they're all skinsuits. Not to mention for an SS game i would have wanted a varied mission centric system against a variety of villains, occassional interference of heroes. This 'killing the Justice League' idea was ridiculous completely out of their power range. You can do so many cool stuff with the Squad. Infiltration, assassination, heists. Going against a wide variety of B to D list baddies and heroes. But instead we have 'this'.
The underwhelming way they cut down Earth’s Mightiest almost makes me wish they had some throwaway line that Brainiac couldn’t properly manipulate their powers or something.

Honestly it would have been hilarious if Harley loaded a special bullet into her revolver making sure to mention it was a last wish from joker to send batman to him in hell, only for the Harley to have a crises about what to do now that she thinks joker doesn't want it, only for the flag to shoot out a second later
What I don't get, is what exactly was Batman _doing_ when he had them in the fear toxin? Like if you've played any of the Arkham games, even the oft disrespected Origins, you know how the gameplay loop goes. You know how OP he is in hand to hand, how his gadgets work, how amazing his stealth is. But he saw 4 bumbling idiots who couldn't see three feet ahead of them, and he couldn't stealth takedown them? It's actual one shot and man used to sneak around levels with up to 20 bad guys in a room without being seen once. One fear multi-takedown takes care of three of them, then an environment takedown for Shark. Then they made it a Poison Ivy type boss fight with him where he's apparently a lethargic sloth that stands in one place and absorbs damage. What is he even doing _in the real world?_ He shouldn't be affected by the toxin, and even if the dumbest character in the series learned to cook from Scarecrow like Jesse did Walt, Batman is an actual chemist and that's his own version of the formula they're making, which he's immune to. Harley Quinn has literally never not folded with one strike, it's insane to me that they keep shoehorning her into the Suicide Squad in the first place but also that they do that apologiea where she's apparently the new young badass of the world (she's the same age or slightly older than Batman, and she's killed a lot of innocent people.) The game acts like him insulting her is uncalled for and pathetic, but she _is_ an extremely ineffective villain against him and a mass murderer.
Imho the last hurrah of Kevin Conroy's Arkham Batman should've been introducing Batman Beyond into the universe. Terry McGinnis taking on the role of the Batman after Bruce fakes his death at the end of Arkham Knight would've been a perfect sendoff. Especially if the main suit was the Batman Beyond suit from Arkham Knight. That one looked so cool. And we would have a successor to Batman that could spin off into a whole new game series,
@@thesithofearth3617Oh shxt ur right, I just remember what the barrel looked like and it wasnt shaped like a revolver but the ocelot is clearly sticking out in that pick. Awkward.
Its deadly simple to fix this game, make the justice league unbelievably hard to kill, like elden ring difficulty, and make Batman come out of the shadows to help, like his contingencies would help alone, it would be amazing to see Batman help them and the most important part let the squad all die one by one and only batman and waller left after everything is done
I think they did wonder woman because of her lasso just so the flash could say theres no other way but killing them therefore giving your player a goal, BUT WHY DINDT THEY MAKE A MISSION FOR RETRIEVING HER LASSO WITH BATMAN AS THE HELPER THAT WOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER
It's weird too because they are obviously trying to make Harley more digestible for general audiences by designing her closer to her more recent movie and TV iterations. Clumsy mish mash
this game is an alternate universe arkham you can tell it is because king shark is dead in assault on arkham and captain boomerang got shot point blank in a comic
They couldve at least made it so in the final dialogue Batman explain that he isn't fully under control and rigged the fight in their favour. That would've been at least something.
At least with Joel it had some service to he story, trying to make the player as upset with Abby as Ellie, how well it works at that is up for debate but atleast there is some semblance of logic to the why But who the hell thought that THIS was the best way to kill batman, no less ARKHAM BATMAN
One of my favorite animated movies is where Batman becomes Darkseid's right hand and he is almost unstoppable. Basically in the end, Barry is forced to do another flashpoint, and considering the utter chaos batman can create as evil; for him to be handcuffed to a chair and get lectured by d listed villains is below insulting.
The worst part about this video is the fact I got multiple ads for suicide squad kill the Justice league I was able to skip them at least. Targeted ads are targeting the wrong person
I think the writers are a little special in the head, Batman especially Arkham Batman is not stupid, he wouldn’t simply walk on the ship to have a tea talk with braniac
@@Magmaticinyeah he def wouldn’t have agreed just like that one time in the animated show where Batman doesn’t go with the rest of the league to be detained cause he thinks their dumb💀.
having an arkham Batman game set in metropolis where he saves or kills the JL to take on brainiac and he has to conflict with his no killing rule, that would make an infinitely better game.
@@SmotheryAxe1414we should've either played as batman in this game, or batman and wonder woman should've been swapped. have batman decline joining the justice league in the first place, or just have him not go to brainiac's fortress at all, instead opting to stay behind and review contingency plans in case something went awry.
@@TippedScale if any of the writers knew or respected a single thing about batman he wouldn't go anywhere near brainiacs ship until he knew everything, and on top of that, arkham Batman wouldn't have joined the justice league. Textbook character assassination.
If Nightwing or Red Hood came to Lex Tower and had an emotional talk with Batman, about all the good things he's done for them, begging and failing to bring him back to the light and only THEN choosing the last option to kill him themselves, that would have been 1000X better than him getting killed by one of his enemies on a bench...
I always thought Insomniac's Peter Parker was suffering a lot of "badass decay" since Spider-Man 2, but here its _much worse_ since Batman doesn't even feel important to the games entire plot; reduced to some kind of *mook,* not _even_ getting a single scene of him attempting to resist or fight off the mind-control. RIP Arkham Batman :(
Its clear that the writers went out of their way to ruin these characters. Its clear the writers and creators of this game had massive malicious intent with what they created here. This was all written and done by people that hate comic books and the people that read and enjoy them.
The worst part is that this scene could have actually been handled well. In something competently written, like say, Batman the Animated Series, Harley would have had a few laughs, before realizing what's happening. She has Batman dead in her sights, just like the Joker would have wanted. But then she would have struggled with pulling the trigger, wondering if this is what she would have wanted. Bruce, with his last bit of self control would have told her to commit to it. It's the only way for Brainiac to be stopped. Harley would then ask the rest of the Squad to leave, and the gunshot would be heard with her killing Batman off screen (also because it leaves it open). The next scene would have her storming out of the room, with the rest of the squad waiting outside. Boomerang goes to make a joke, Deadshot stops him, and Harley gets to have a bit of development. Deadshot would ask her, "is he dead?", which she'd only respond with "He died a long time ago". Hire me, WB. I am way more respectful to your IPs than your current writers.
I think the real shame is that batman doesn't even get a good bossfight, it should have been an arkham predator section where he's throwing distractions, setting off traps and everything, and then after you finally get a good hit on him he's wounded and gets that kind of death
@@qwz_o I agree. Any writer worth their salt would agree that not a single member of the Suicide Squad would stand a chance against them. You have to employ really heavy plot armour for them to come out alive.
Hire you for what lil bro? Harley has been in Arkham Asylum for 5 years because of Batman. I'm not saying she's in the right, but from her perspective what do you expect genuinely? The person who tormented Batman and then received jailtime from Batman in return to all the sudden have a come-to-Jesus moment, and be like "Heh... I guess he wasn't really that bad of a person after all." That is literally just wanting cool redemption arc to clap at when NONE of it was earned. WB please do not hire his fanfic writing ass🙏🙏🙏🙏
This is better. This is the scary thing I always say. An average fan can write better and more respectful scenes than the writers being used by studios in media. When I regularly know I could write better material in a few sessions than what is coming out... That is concerning.
I remember that when I 100% Arkham Knight to get the Protocol Knightfall ending, I cried. First ever game that made me cry. This game so easily could've been a banger by having batman be the Un brainwashed character instead of wonder woman, have him not have joined the justice league, and his big return being due to the brainiac crisis. literally have batman give the suicide squad the tools to defeat the justice league and only reveal himself later in the superman fight would have been sick af...
Funny that they said they’d never want to work on a game if the story was as bad as the fake leak from around when the game got delayed then gave us something just as bad if not worse
Subtle detail, but you hear that sound after the gunshot? A shell casing hitting the ground. Isn’t Harley using a revolver? Clearly they keep giving beloved characters to people who would sooner whip their posteriors than take the time to write a proper send off. To pay respect to someone who directly and indirectly instilled better values in others
honestly, batman vs the justice league would have been so much better😭 i cant believe that the same arkham batman, the one who could outsmart miltia, stalk and gain intel, would be captured as easily as that. meanwhile, i would be able to envision a batman game where he would methodologically form plans to take on each justice league member in a final boss fight or long drawn fight.
After arkham knight i always thought the next batman game would be the most gritty and violent incarnation of the character. Instead we got the cringiest incarnation
Y’all be on Kevin’s ass if he didn’t die cause he actually agreed to the role js(No disrespect to him tho,he’s a legend and still have a solid performance even tho it isn’t as amazing as his other performances)
I think the biggest issue the developers made was the first pitch: thinking the Suicide Squad could just kill the Justice League. Doesn't mean they couldn't have the Justice League be the opposition, it just needed to be more realistic. I like the idea of the Justice League absolutely slaughtering everyone, and the Suicide Squad is sacrificing everything just for the tiniest shred of a chance to win (like Rogue One did). The goal could have been to successfully go back in time to prevent the slaughter like X-Men Days of Future Past did, that way you get to have these brutal fights and deaths and the League is still alive at the end. Instead, the developers tried to cover up how incredible the Justice League normally are. To make them "beatable" by random people, they had to make them as weak and boring as random people. They got shot down like dogs and frankly ignored.
Only thing j will give em is that sharko is probably about the only one who had a sliver of a chance to win against any of them. Given he was an OG superboy villain and even a threat to aquaman in his home turf. The rest....well least they got deadshot

Them Crooked Vultures pfp is such a W, most underrated thing ever nobody talks about it but the album is amazing
Switching between Wonder Woman and Batman is actually a great idea.

To be fair the Arkham games reuse voice actors all the time like nolan north(joker thugs, penguin, black mask, superman,) and troybaker (two face, robin and nightwing in arkham city, jason todd,) so the flash being voiced by ak nightwing isn't that crazy
Like the other commenter said, Troy Baker and Nolan North wrecks this point. These 2 take 4 characters easily in everything.
Yeah thats not what happened. Its VERY common to use the same VA on multiple characters in the industry.
That’s just talented, that means they can use multiple voice inflections to create a whole world from just like 4 people 1 voice.

All the more reason to support indie studios sure the writing might be not the best but at least they're trying to be creative.
What a joke
Joker didn't get into Batman's head, but money properly has taken over Rocksteady's CEO
We should boycott this game
It’s most definitely non cannon, this game was written by a 20 year old something that doesn’t even know the games. Just movie promotion
The rocksteady of today is not the same one that made the legacy and respected it. All of the those people have wisely left the company to start their own now.
this game is an alternate universe arkham
you can tell it is because king shark is dead in assault on arkham and captain boomerang got shot point blank in a comic
This is canon and you are all in denial lol. It sucks? Yes. Is it cano? Yes
Sweet Baby, Inc. hates heroes apparently unless they're a woman. I don't get the admiration that have for WW especially Lex.

But what did we get:
“Are you done with your bad stand up routine?”
And when it happens 2 things would usually happen:
Either 1: the person trying to enter his brain would be forced out because his mental defenses are so strong that even Deadman couldn’t use his body for longer than a handful of seconds
Or 2: it’s revealed that yea, a guy who can get his hands of YELLOW LANTERN RINGS, KRYPTONITE AND MAGIC BULLETS THAT GO FASTER THAN THE FLASH also just so happens to have built-in mind control procedures in his suit, namely resistive materials or something that’d disable his access to his arsenal if he was compromised (The Batman Who Laughs doesn’t count).
But that would require good writing... something these guys clearly missed on 💀

Also I just discovered your channel and I'm loving it. Hope you make it big brother.
I only disagree with you Justice league part, as it’s a Batman game not a justice league game, plus they were sort of mentioned in The knight game
@roccoz201 the heroes were referenced individually but they were never implied to have grouped up to have formed the League.
Contradictions the worst, right?
Sadly, their attempt doesn’t antonym of fail.
It's genuinely impressive how much they fucked this up 🤣
they mustve fed the script writers like literal dirt with what they produced
Or a bit of LSD and other drugs mixed in.
Injustice Batman after watching his Arkham protege dies like this:
Get fck out from Phantom Zone Clark. We have a city to burn.
And now you start to understand why Sefton Hill and Jamie Walker bailed away, Rocksteady is now a sinking ship.
My guess is that they tried to convince the others to change the story and gameplay and when they said no there were like bye and those agreed with them went as well.
I always felt weird with how willingly batman is too kill in this
Batman in other universes has been able to resist mind control when it comes to killing
A testament to his incredible mental prowess that he was able to overcome the mind control even slightly to where they can kill him before he does too much damage.
And thanks to Brainiac taking control, Joker is released and as the dlc progresses we destroy the influence of Brainiac and reclaim Batman's mind since Joker hates no other thing more then someone doing something better
Well that can't be fixed now that they put lead into his brain, effectively ending a possibly cool and interesting plot point for their OWN FCKIN FUTURE OF THE GAME!
This would have been hella cool 😂. Suicide squad would have sold better just for this dlc.
I can just picture Joker repeatedly beating Batman over the head with a cane telling him to snap out of it 😂
Be so fr, who actually wanted a Suicide Squad game to begin with?
I don't even like the Suicide Squad tbh. I would have easily preferred a Batman Beyond or Superman game.
i believe they wanted to do something different. you know unless you experiment how can you know if it will be liked
The underwhelming way they cut down Earth’s Mightiest almost makes me wish they had some throwaway line that Brainiac couldn’t properly manipulate their powers or something.

Harley Quinn has literally never not folded with one strike, it's insane to me that they keep shoehorning her into the Suicide Squad in the first place but also that they do that apologiea where she's apparently the new young badass of the world (she's the same age or slightly older than Batman, and she's killed a lot of innocent people.) having an arkham Batman game set in metropolis where he saves or kills the JL to take on brainiac and he has to conflict with his no killing rule, that would make an infinitely better game.
That Jessie edit is perfect man 😂😭
I always thought Insomniac's Peter Parker was suffering a lot of "badass decay" since Spider-Man 2, but here its _much worse_ since Batman doesn't even feel important to the games entire plot; reduced to some kind of *mook,* not _even_ getting a single scene of him attempting to resist or fight off the mind-control. RIP Arkham Batman :(
Its clear that the writers went out of their way to ruin these characters. Its clear the writers and creators of this game had massive malicious intent with what they created here. This was all written and done by people that hate comic books and the people that read and enjoy them.
There was no accident in this. This was on purpose.

@@BlackNigerKFCcut your arm upwards
They made this be part of the Arkham universe is just for destroying everything
I am way more respectful to your IPs than your current writers.
i actually like this, even tho still i don’t believe the suicide squad would have any chance beating them, especially superman or flash.
Congrats on all the views and success dude!!!
Hey genuis his helmets bulletproof
I was just thinking this😂😂😂
According to rocksteady , batman when controlled by brainiac is retarded and weak. So he forgot his helmet was meant to be bulletproof
Not to mention, you can hear a shell drop on the ground after she shot him, yet she's using a revolver smh 🤦🏾 😂
@@Rude_Boiit sounds like a bullet casing?
@@alexanderrivera5747 Yes, but that isn't the case (pun not intended) with revolvers.
I remember that when I 100% Arkham Knight to get the Protocol Knightfall ending, I cried. First ever game that made me cry.
The character felt so alive, since setting foot on Arkham Asylum, I had the feeling that these were games that I belonged to. Played day and night, discovered new secrets, and, most importantly, felt the world that Rocksteady built.
HUUUGE disappointment in SS. This shouldn't even be linked to Arkham in any way.
To pay respect to someone who directly and indirectly instilled better values in others

never let rocksteady cook again ❗️
The old rock steady team is still clean from this shit to me.
The actual Rocksteady. The one that cooked the Arkham Trilogy would never do this sh*t.
I know it’s childish but in my head canon it ended with Arkham Knight and Bruce is retired out somewhere with alfred and selina.

honestly, batman vs the justice league would have been so much better😭 i cant believe that the same arkham batman, the one who could outsmart miltia, stalk and gain intel, would be captured as easily as that. meanwhile, i would be able to envision a batman game where he would methodologically form plans to take on each justice league member in a final boss fight or long drawn fight.
They really saw Batman’s contingency plans ripe for a Batman-led game against the supers and said “3rd Suicide Squad rendition”
After arkham knight i always thought the next batman game would be the most gritty and violent incarnation of the character.
Instead we got the cringiest incarnation

Ever since the Co founders left, Sweet Baby Inc worked on the writing from what I Heard and what a Dishonor to Kevin Conroy and his Legacy.

He solod the SS on assault on arkham but loses while blood lusted scarecrow toxic infused batman?
"You were there at the beginning, and now... you get to see how it ends..."
Damn right, to true fans, the franchise ended with Arkham Knight

Only thing j will give em is that sharko is probably about the only one who had a sliver of a chance to win against any of them. Given he was an OG superboy villain and even a threat to aquaman in his home turf. The rest....well least they got deadshot
The only character I like in this is the shark
I got them all max level and he’s definitely the lamest imo.. but I think he just doesn’t have headsets made for him yet.. you will see when you play… like all the bane gear is definitely made more harley even tho it doesn’t say that.. probably in the ice season the shark will get more gear oriented for him
Sets * not headsets
And he should Be dead, just like boomerang, If this game is Canon
