Looks interesting, but one question. What type, not brand, of Soy sauce? The kind regularly sold and used in the west, or the heavy, dark, and strong tasting Soy sauce?
@@sarahzamnoun5407 I avoided using brand names. The western type is light in flavor as in the Kikoman brand, but Lite soy sauce is a low salt type. The Dark soy sauce sold in Asian grocery stores is very dark, very strong tasting, and usually used in cooking; nothing you would use to flavor your rice with.
I took a dive into it. She's using Sempio's Jin Ganjang soy sauce which is a cheaper grade of the premium soy sauce used in Korea (Yanjo Ganjang). Looking at articles Japanese soy sauce appears to be the closest style but Korean soy sauce is unique enough that you should probably stock a Korean soy sauce in your pantry. I'm probably going to use some tamari soy sauce I have on hand.

I think she used the dark soy sauce
It's not salty as the lite soy sauce.
The lite soy sauce has a stronger taste to it.
