Finally nice and clear cucumber recipe!
I love spicy cucumbers! More recipes please!
Great video. That looks like a good light. Look like peppers on your plants soon. Have a great day.
Hmmm very interesting I’ll have to try that this weekend
I’m making these cucumbers right now this late evening. First time ever making a Korean side dish. Can’t wait to try tomorrow!
Awesome recipe 🙏🙏
I have referenced this recipe a few times. After I get the info from it I leave you running because I find your voice very soothing.

Very good thank
Loved your video on Korean spicy cucumbers. My favorite by far. Thanks for sharing🥰
Looks very yummy. I’ll try because I love cucumbers and chilly thanks 😊
That looks like an awesome recipe. Thanks for sharing that! I'm going to try dehydrating my gochu peppers for the flakes when I get more ripe.
Looks delicious! Thank you for this recipe 🤗
Best recipe ever
This looks so amazing ! We are going to make this for sure !
I'm looking forward to more recipes in the future
No Asian supermarket near me so trying this with some substitutes. Hope it tastes good!
Good stuff!
This is soooo sweet, thank you...
Thanks for sharing Khang, sounds yummy 🤓❤️🤗❤️
Thanks for the easy recipe. Definitely do-able. I love those Persian cucumbers. Once you taste them, it's difficult to imagine any other cucumbers could even compare.
They are easy to grow hydroponically too. In fact I've always had crap luck growing any cucumbers of any type
But I started a new kratky bucket with 2 cucumber plants each every week this summer and this type is growing best with the most fruits!! I have just enough time to do one more bucket before it gets too cold. But I have them out in New greenhouse. I havent used mine in a few years as the poli went in a storm 😳
So hubs bought me a new one. My $700🥒 cucumbers🙃🤣🤪 weve been laughing about it all summer.
@@Emeraldwitch30 It's okay. I don't even eat that much peppers and I spent like $1000 the past year buying all the stuff for growing them in hydro and in dirt. The aphids got me a few months ago, so then I was so over growing peppers. I tossed my peppers outdoors and let them fend for themselves and realized I only eat Thai peppers and jalapenos that I buy maybe once a year and freeze most since I don't eat that much peppers at all. And I spent all that money, time, effort trying to grow peppers. LOL! It was fun until the aphids got me good, though. Ah, well.
@@datgal2u oh shoot I didn't even notice that this is a year old comment! I'm about $800 to $900 into my new obsession aka hobby out in my gardens. And🤬 APHIDS!!🤬 don't get me started on those little microscopic jerks!
Outside- I don't get them but inside under my light set up they sneak in like friggen ninjas and by the time you find them they are everywhere!
@@Emeraldwitch30 Yep, I thought I had those aphids under control, but then I decided to see what happens if you don't smash or wash your plants off for a week...OMG, big mistake. It was so gross how quickly they multiply and the plants looked so nasty. I had to toss them out. They seem aphid free now, but I no longer care for my expensive peppers. I'm going back to flowers. LOL! But at least I learned a few new varieties that I'll try to grow again in the future like the KSLS, SRP, KS White Thai, and Brazillian Starfish. I also purchased 3 citrus trees, so I can use the lights I purchased earlier this year on those during the winter, so it's not all a loss, I guess. :)
Great video as always. That looks good.
This is an amazing recipe! Great work.
Thanks for the recipe!!!
I love Korean food, ❤
im so excited to try this
I made it yesterday and tried it but today when I had it, it's so good. So in future I will have it from the next day. Also it's crunchy too. Thanks 👍✅
I want these so badly right now 🤤 Can I use gochujang in place of the pepper flakes? Or will it not have the same flavor?
I can't wait to make this!
Hi. I'm from Indonesian. I like your cooking
Pickling cucumbers are really good as well, and you don’t even have to skin them...🙃👌
Now I´m hungry .... Thank you for the video!
I make cucumbers with chile de arbol lemon and salt and tapatio. 😊
You should try toasting your sesame seeds make them nice and dark and toasty it adds another realm to what my favorite side dish is ❤
I also use rice vinegar. I have used balsamic :-)
Great video Khang! This would be a great series. Korean sides, entrees? Maybe?
You most definitely have to make more hot or spicy pickling cucumbers or spears or slices I prefer I love them Ha I love you spicy these are great
Hey does anyone know if this is supposed to be served cold or at room temperature?
Khang, try using Rice Vinegar instead of plain white.. you'll get a much richer/authentic flavor.
Khang, can you jar this minus the sesame seeds and put in the fridge like Kimchi ? Do you think the cuke would get musy ?
Korea has white vinegar?
Oh my, this is surely delish! TYVM. xo 💓
No shrimp paste or dried shrimp?
What was your "soy sauce?"
Was that Maggi?
Love itttt
I love making kimchi so I need to try this thank you for sharing 🙏🏻🌶👍🏻 of course I won’t have cucumbers until next spring mine have went to sleep and I won’t buy food at stores because of health reasons have a amazing Saturday super hot 🌶 peppers are amazing for me when I have bone pain from the lupus the endorphins kick in it helps a lot for a while can’t think about bone pain because I’m too busy melting my face off 😄
How does the flavor of a Persian cuke compare to an English cuke Khang? Do you do much with tomatoes and peppers? -Bob...
I love the Persian ones because they are super crunchy. They have a mild flavor so they're great even for people who don't like vegetables.
What is the shelf life please
👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️♥️
This looks mad good!!! Khang in the kitchen!
-N
I like your voice :)))
10/10
Why's there lemon Starburst in your hot pepper powder?
That's my jam oi muchim
Just made this! Going to have for lunch tomorrow :D next time I will put less chilli in though :')
Do you sale seeds?
O yes I’m a new subscriber
Ive had this in restaurants very nice way to get the taste buds going. Now, I have tried drying a few hot peppers and they have tended to go a grey/orange and dusty. Have you any tips on drying your peppers?
Use a dehydrator set at low heat. This will help retain their color but takes longer to dry. Browse my channel for a video on this.
My Kratky guy !
I like spicy cukes but they don’t like me. Quite painful actually. Have you a recipe that is really good but not so hot n spicy?
Yes, only use the Korean red flakes without superhots.
I had to watch your radish kimchi video twice to get to this video. By the time I finish typing my comments, the pop up next choices are gone. This I wanted to see. Mine never comes out right. Too salty. Ah, I never rinse mine. Okay. Oh, extra stuff. Okay. This is going to be good. Tomorrow I will make this version. Thank you.
한국 밥숫가락이 너무 정감가네요
What kind of soy sauce? It doesn't look like my Korean soy sauce
Our local restaurant serves those. But they are soon to close and I will have to take my Korean girlfriend 3 hours away to Atlanta to get her Korean food fix
If the skin is good for you as you said, then why peel partly , why not just not leave it unpeeled?😊
Is this like oi-muchim?
Yes, I believe that's what it is called in Korean.
Yummmmmmmmm!!!
🏆🏆🏆🏆
That was not soy sauce it was Knorr seasoning
wtf? This ist the same recipe as the Chinese smashed cucumber salad. lol

Omg. So time consuming video.
You talk too much just get to the steps already
