It's worth looking up TQMC. It can br applied to every aspect of your life. It's not hard to learn and practice. I went from 70 shop hours commission per week up to 200 hours per week completed shop hours commission work.
That much is certain. Meanwhile Dodge was number two on the J.D. Powers surveys this year. Also, because of air bags and gas pedals, Scotty fails to mention that Toyota had the largest car recall in history. And people were killed by sudden acceleration because of garbage throttle controllers. Remember that? Hardly quality.
@@dannysdailys name one Toyota that you've ever seen on the side of the road with hazards on and hood up. I've only seen one disabled Toyota in my whole driving career and it's the one my niece drove and that's because she didn't get any maintenance done on it. I've seen several dodges, almost every time I get on the interstate.
Toyota sells the most cars out of any car manufacturer in the world. It makes sense for them to have one of the largest recalls ever because of how many cars they produce and sell.
@@richbrake9910I also have respect for these three car brands. Helping my daughter buy a commuter vehicle for work, and all three of these brands leads the list! 😃👍🏼
I work at the Honda plant in Lincon Alabama making the V6 engines that go in the Vans SUVs, Accord's you get the picture. WE have a very strict quality control system and most other car manufactures don't. Another thing is we don't build a new engine type every year or so. Hey if it's not broken don't fix it this also make sure the bugs are all worked out.
I worked for a Tier 1 supplier to 17 US assembly plants, including the Ohio plant that builds Civic's. Honda had the tightest specs but was also one of the best to work with.Presently driving my 3rd CRV.
Toyota, Honda and Mazda should be known as the new Big 3. I live in a major city and I noticed that the old big 3 (ford, Gm, dodge ) only make up 1 in 10 of the cars you see on the road. People are getting tired of unreliable vehicles that fall apart and also being told by their mechanic to just buy Japanese and stop wasting money on repairs on domestic junk .

I have a 2016 Mazda CX-5 and it still has not had one issue. Literally NOT ONE SINGLE PROBLEM! The best car I’ve ever owned. 80k miles now(I know that’s not a lot). But still, that’s 80k problem free miles. Not bad. Only thing I’ve ever done over the years is keep up on the oil changes and change the brakes. I highly highly recommend
@@joepearlzz8504 Since early 2017, I've owned both a 2014, and now currently a 2018 CX-5 (since last year), with both being the GX/Sport trim with manual transmission, non-turbo 2.0 L Skyactiv engine. One of the main reasons I settled on this vehicle was because they are made in Japan. You cannot get better, more consistent build quality or reliability than this. It is such a huge factor when you understand the difference between their cultural mindset regarding individual workmanship standards VS the entitled, North American union employee workers' mindset (even if its' from Toyota), and an abused, third world slave laborer's mindset. Expect excellent reliability, with very little maintenance. Averaging only 4500 miles, 7000 km a year on my daily commute through steep hilly terrain with the odd road trip, I just need an oil change once a year. Had to get the 2018 CX-5 when another driver ran a stop sign and my 2014 CX-5 was written off (still drove perfectly fine after the accident). With the 2014 CX-5, at only 48000 miles (77000 km), I've only ever had to replace the brakes (less than a month before it was written off).
I love my 2018 Mazda6 signature. Such a nice looking car. Soul red exterior with white interior. Always get compliments whenever I go out. Before I got it, I was deciding between a Camry, accord and Mazda. I had a 16 accord sport before and as soon as I saw the Mazda I made my decision. I think I’m only going with Mazda’s from now on!
@@chuckfan1 noooooooo. My father in law just got his fusion totaled by a delivery truck and is going to let me pick the replacement since he had full coverage thank goodness. Been leaning towards a 6 since we already have a 2012 mazda 3 and a 2015 cx-9. The fact that they’re discontinuing them makes me want one so much more lol. Fingers crossed I come across the right one, can’t afford a new one.
I feel so good that I bought my Mazda now, even before I knew that it was a reliable vehicle approved by Scotty. Never had a major issue in 13 years, only regular maintenance and normal wear and tear.
Three great car brands. Since Ford sold their interest in Mazda their transmissions have more longevity. They are fun to drive and I am glad . Mazda are now made completely in Japan. 90% + are Japanese parts. They are much smaller company but are dedicated to doing a great job.
Some Fords and Mazdas shared the same joint effort designed Transmissions. Ford used their PCM to control them nearly flawlessly. Mazda used a troublesome stand alone TCM. The only difference between the 2 trannys was wire color used inside the transmission, bulkhead connector identification( letters vs numbers) and the control solenoids were lettered in a different order to confuse techs.
I appreciate Toyota's dependability, but when they focus on aesthetics they rock. I'd love to see a new Celica on the road. After 20 years I wouldn't mind getting a new one.
@@nextleveljourney6612 The TC looked like a loaf of bread on wheels. It's body had absolutely no curve appeal or character so I would be hesitant to believe it's the aesthetic progeny of the Celica. It may have had the same engine, drive train etc as the Celica (I don't know what the TC's had in them), but then, so did the Corolla and others. I've even bought Yaris parts to replace parts on my Celica, and I recently replaced my oem 1zz engine, with a 1zz from a Corolla. So, if Toyota just mix and matches it's library of parts to build their makes and models as they do (which I've discovered through experience) Then my thinking is that the Celica (at least the GT) is mostly about sporty aesthetics more than being the sum of it's constituent parts. The TC looked like a two door loaf of bread. There was nothing sporty looking about it. Now, the GTS Celica had a 2zz Yamaha engine which was a little better than its 1zz counterpart and that engine was also used in the Lotus Evora. So that Celica was sportier, but even with that, the drive train was largely the same except the GTS had rear brake calipurs and rotors.
Disagree. The only make uglier than Toyota is Benz. The new Camrys look like they came straight out of 1981, with extra chrome, tail light flaring, useless vents in the fenders, etc. It's like they are trying to be tacky.
My first car was a Mazda RX4 coupe. Since then I've owned 6 more mazdas and currently have two. Fun fact: Consumer Reports has two auto manufacturer best lists. One is overall which includes performance, reliability, and quality. The second is for reliability. Mazda is listed at #1 over 26 companies in both lists. The amazing thing is that Mazda is among the smallest auto companies with the smallest budget. Kudos to the best auto company!👍👍
@@thomas735 I agree, but the higher the trim levels the better the Toyota's def look. I have a 2020 rav4 hybrid and it looks very good imo esp when compared to the 2018 model which looked way more compact economy type. they are moving in a good direction. Like the rav 4 hse i think it is, and the trd model, look really nice. toyota also just released this year in the u.s. the venza, which i think rivals any luxury brands and it shares the same platform and motor as the rav 4. I think Honda is beginning to look more luxury ish as well. both Honda and toyota have higher end brands in their wheel house which they unfortunately save the better interiors and ext looks for.
@@thomas735 Damn genes lol. Im a whopping 5'9" so i practically have everything custom built to fit me lol. Never realized the pros of being on the low end of average height.
@@thomas735 i like the highlander as well, very good size suv for sure. Land cruiser if i had 100k to blow on an suv that can last 20 years easy. Thatd be my go to. Its funny, when u buy a toyota (many other brands too, esp like wranglers and others that always had high resale like the tacoma) right now, the way the market is today, ur driving a vehicle almost for free. Ur not going to get dealer prices, but u may lose 5k over 2 or 3 years which is absolutely nuts n thats almost regardless of mileage. Its just insane what people are doing today
I love my 2007 Mazda 3. Of course I had to get one with a Manual transmission. It's never had a problem other than an electric window motor repair. Other than that my only complaint is that the AC could be a little stronger. Best of all, the zoom-zoom is a real thing. I know this is no race car, or even a sports car, but I test drove a lot of cars in the same category/price range and the Mazda felt the best to drive, especially on curvy mountain roads.
I love when people want to tailgate my CX5 on a straight highway and then take the same off ramp as me. On a 30mph ramp I can DUST them on the curves 😂😂😂 and that’s in a taller car!!
Yep. Same here. The g-vectoring makes the CX5 handle surprisingly well at speeds other similar sized vehicles need to slow down for. It's a great feeling when a Ford F150 hugs the inside lane on an on ramp and I just zoom zoom around him on the outside.
After watching your channel for over a year... And as a hardcore german car fan (in Europe we maintain them and the dealers are great)... Next car will be a Japanese car.... Mazda... Than Honda and Toyota... Will try them all.... Thank you for your work!!
A friend of mine (an aircraft engineer) had an MX5 for years. Then he thought he would buy the same thing in a BMW. For different reasons he was totally disappointed with the BMW and went back to an MX5. He loves it. I have never owned a Mazda but I am now on my second Lexus. The SC300 was a much better car than the current RX330, but with her bad hip the SC300 became impossible for her to get in and out. Shame.
Drove a Mazda 3 a couple years after they came out. It was a loaner car from the dealership while doing warranty work. I have to tell you it's very hard not to drive between 55 and 90 and not even feel like you are speeding. I was thinking about buying a used I have seen here locally.
2005 Mazda 3 GS 2.3 , 515000 KM , two alternators , one starter, ac clutch, valve cover gasket and few engine mounts.Driven trough harsh Canadian winters. The best car I have ever owned.
Mazda has come a long way and has really made a name for itself. I own a 2014 Mazda 3 160k and still fun as hell to drive zero issues. I recently bought a 2019 Mazda 3. Great little cars. Not to mention my daily driver is a mint condition indestructible 92 Camry. I agree with Scotty.
Hey Scotty. Would you consider doing a vid like this for the best cars for owners who do their own repairs and maintenance?? Which makes, models, and years are easiest to work on?
I absolutely LOVE my 2013 Miata NC Club. After spending a year and a half looking at the Porsche Boxster, Toyobaru, Camaro, Lotus Elise, Mustang... basically anything they'd let me drive... the Miata was the pick of the litter. I feel guilty with how little maintenance I need to do to it. Change the fluids, and she roars to life without a hitch. I say that "people don't believe me when I put my turn signal on", meaning the thing rides like it's on rails.
I had my 3.1 Malibu for 19 years, and when I let it go, it wasn't for engine or transmission issues! And my Charger is a 07 3.5 SXT with 200 thousand plus miles on her, and she run like a Champ! Got her in 08 with 19,000 miles on the odometer.
I had two 90's Proteges with manual transmissions. They were fast, and got a consistent 35 mpg! Both had cylinder head issues shortly after 200,000 miles, but loved how they ran!
Yes, here I own a 2002 Honda Civic EX and a 2008 Honda Civic EX, 20 years old and 14 years old car respectively and they still take me to the places I need to go. I own them since they were new, very careful with maintenance and I LOVE them.
Toyota is the best carmaker............... for the past four decades. Cant wait to see their full effort towards EV's. The 4runner and tundra get no mention ...................................................................................................... wow
Surpringly my sister's Ford has lasted her over 10 years. A Ford Expedition 2005 only thing the had really get worked on was the transmission. Which got me thinking, a car can last you a long time only you as the owner takes care of the car. Granted some company brands make crappy transmission but not ever transmission they make ends up messing up. I've noticed it only happens when the owner isn't maintaining service on the vehicle and sadly it's mostly young people. Please make sure you do your maintenance in time or as soon as possible, it can prevent accidents and it can prevent you from buying a new motor, transmission or another car
Owner of an RX8 R3 model here with some modifications that have brought it up to 300 HrsPrs here going on 200K miles with no rebuild in sight - I love the respect you give these cars Scotty, most mechanics seem to stay away from giving praise to these cars because of the stereotypes built over the years from owners/mechanics who didn't understand these cars - The series 2s in general are very reliable. For both S1 and S2 RX8s though, they're cars that are meant to be loved by their owners, and as such need owners that love them and care for them. The number of RX8s on the market that aren't neglected by their owners seem to keep getting rarer and rarer these days.
I had a Mazda GLC in the 70’s. It was a “great little car” for zipping around LA. I think I only paid $3500 new for it. I loved that car. After 8 years with no problems I traded it for a 626 which I loved too. They weren’t race cars but were very economical to drive and reliable.
My brother bought one when he was stationed at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii and 4 years later had it shipped home when he left active duty. In Hawaii cars rust from the top down, in Illinois they rust from the bottom up. That car became a total mess after about 8 years, but this was in the 70's when cars rusted like crazy.
My old man bought a 626 with turbo in '88. That sucker was fast. It was like having an RX7 in a 4 door. The only car at my high school that could take me off the line were the souped up muscle cars and my buddy's Chevy Stepside.
Those Rav-4s were all over the road in Sacramento when we lived there in 2000-2001. Living in central Ohio, our family has always been a Honda family. The second car I ever owned was a first generation '76 Accord. It was wonderful. I'm fixing up my sister's '98 Civic sedan that she left sitting for five years. Those are tough little engines! But I still have my eye on that Subaru Forester Wilderness.
I've owned three mazdas, a 1992 protégé, a 2002 protégé, and now a 2015 mazda6. I've always loved the tight steering, interior design, and the reliability. All three had manual transmissions. I would definitely buy another as long as they keep making manuals.
My manual Mazda 323 in the early 90s was the most amazing little car I've ever driven, definitely had that feeling of being one with my machine/horse. Really wish I hadn't sold it.
I feel like I hit the lottery after watching this video, I currently own 2010 civic, 2009 camry, and 2021 cx 5. Didn't know what I had until I started watching your videos
Love my CRV! Both me and my gf have 2005 CR-V s and appreciate how useful they are as daily drivers. A ton of cargo space, spacious interior, and suitable for outdoor pursuits with the AWD
Bought my first crv in 2021 after being a chev/buick own whole life. Traded in an equinox to get this one.. I was shocked at two things, amount of road noise coming from CRV , bought new tires at 20k miles which helped somewhat and the sound system. I may go with a Buick Envision next time
Thank you Scotty! Happy to find your channel. I have a 2011 Chevy Equinox with 79K miles. Regular oil changes and filter changes thank God. I think it’s time for a new car. Always a Chevy girl but willing to change now cuz I don’t trust their service advisors. They try to find something wrong with the car and there is nothing wrong because I go to a different dealership on my next oil change and they never mention the previous service recommendations. It is very upsetting that the some service departments treat their customers this way. Have a great day everyone!
Learned my lesson with my ‘01 Malibu. Will never drive another Chevy if I can help it. We’re a Mazda family now but Toyotas and Hondas are awesome too. Good luck finding something you love that’ll last forever.
Toyota Sienna for me. In 2001 I bought a 1999 Sienna with 38,000 miles on it. It ran like a watch with virtually no maintenance besides regular (3,000 mile) oil changes, inspections, and a few little things until 2019. It had 335,000 miles on it and I got a few bucks for it in a trade-in for a 2013 Sienna, an even better, more comfortable car.
Japanese Big 3 used to be Toyota, Nissan, and Honda. Nissan got frenched, so I suppose it's Mazda's time in the sun. So far, they've had a major turnaround the same way Hyundai/Kia have: uninteresting middling cars in the 90's, grown into premium-leaning incredible values that are still excellent driving experiences.
I had a ‘12 scion xb in super white & twice the paint started “falling off” in different spots. Luckily both times Toyota fixed it for free! No other major issues since 👍🏼
Have never owned anything but Japanese cars, ironically from all three these brands. Needless to say, have had VERY few car related issues my whole life driving. Had my RSX for 7 years, the replaced it with a CX-5 when I had a baby. Running into our 8th year with our CX-5...only "issue" has been a battery dying.
Love my CX-5. I don’t regret trading in my RAV4 for it. RAV4 had loud engine noise in cabin, awful wind noise at highway speeds and inside was a rattle box.
Glad you like the CX-5. Though I have to disagree. I checked out both and went with the RAV4 ('19). Best decision I've ever made. I don't think you can go wrong with either. It just comes down to what you need from the vehicle.
@@kharjai5433 I agree. RAV4 to me is more truckish. The CX-5 is more carish. I like quite rides. And the infotainment is ahead with Mazda. Screen is more crisp but lacking touchscreen.
I wanted to replace my Ford Focus with a Ford Fusion but I recently learned Ford no longer builds cars. Now I am considering either the 6 cylinder Camry or Avalon.
As much as I want to support American car manufacturers I refuse to let any company rip me off. I am a woman with very little car knowledge and I HATE car trouble. When they start making cars as reliable as the Japanese cars then I will happily buy American.
My husband was a mechanic his entire like. A very good one. He always told me you buy one of those foreign cars, you get someone else to work.on it because I wont!! HE bought me my 93 c1500 chevy truck. Been driving it for almost 30 years. At 337,000 miles, I say he made a great choice. I'm still driving it. Never any major issues!
you don't have to tell me about Mazda. I fell in love with them when i bought my first Mazda back in 2017. It's a Mazda3 2014 and I love it. Mazda is the best and more underrated car brand today
@@scottykilmer my 2007 camry just started intermittently accelerating from idle, and sometimes not wanting to decelerate when i take my foot of the gas. I just ordered some throttle body cleaner and hope that will fix it, what do you think?
@@thegeth4293 There is a recall for that. Take it to a Toyota dealership and ask them what recalls they have for your vehicle. The work should be performed for free. Don't let them sell you something.
@@thegeth4293 put your vin in Kelley Blue Book and it will tell you all recalls for your vehicle. I'm not saying it's your specific issue, but just about everyone remembers Toyota's acceleration blunder.
I love your channel Scotty. Some of the little pictures that pop up in the corner really make me laugh too. I have a 91 Mazda B2200 I bought for parts. It had a blown engine. Later I bought a 1984 B2200 that was smashed up. I took the Mazda/Perkins diesel out of it and put it in the 91. Quite a project. Nice that they have a drain plug on the gas tank. I love that little truck. It's slow and noisy and bumpy and smelly but it just makes me happier when I'm driving it than any other vehicle I own for some reason. Cheap to run too. For electronics it has an alternator and a radio and that's it! I've always wondered if anyone else has done that swap. Maybe it's one of a kind. Maybe not. Ford had the 4.135 (4 cyl. 135 cu.in.) Mazda/Perkins in their little Rangers too.
You gave me some good history behind the vehicles. I am a mechanic and always willing to pick up a little info here and there as long as it’s legit like yours. 🙏 thank you.
Just follow some simple rules. What brand/model "old" cars are still on the road. What brand cars you usually see on the freeway shoulder belly-up, or waiting to be towed. Go to the junkyard and see which brand/model cars are fairly new but waiting to be scrapped. Talk to a busy mechanic. Etc. Scotty should mention Lexus (Toyota anyway) and Mercedes (some hiccups, but solid motor and tranny).
When i lived in the UAE i was fortunate to own a mazda 6 although for a short time. What a car it was and nothing compares to the drive feel it gave me. The best brand i owned and im sad i dont own it today.
Just clocked 204k km on my 07 mazda3hb. Driven it across Canada 2 times. Manual 5 speed. Still a fun little car, hate to sell but just bought a 2023 mazda 3hb. So smooth and quiet.
I love the saddle of my Mazda 6… probably because it’s made of Napa leather. The 2.5 turbo engine is nice too…Assuming Mazda proves Scotty is wrong about turbos shortening the life of the engine.
Scotty says that the turbos don't last because the people that drive them just can't resist kicking it down. I've heard him say many times that you can make them last "forever". Just don't floor it all the time😎. But most people can't resist ☺️
Turbo's almost always start leaking oil when they age. My 2009 Mazdaspeed 3 did around 90-100k miles. I kept toping off, but was putting off replacing until I finally let it go to long and oil starved the top of the engine. Rule of thumb with any turbo car: losing oil? Check turbo and plan on replacing! The Skyactiv NA's will probably go for a long time. My wife's 2014 CX-5 is still going strong at 82k miles.
I had an Acura TL forever. Went with the 2018 Accord, then the 2019 Accord Touring 2.0. Great car. My wife had a Civic hatchback forever. We switched to a 4 door civic when we had kids and then we tried to get a 2016 Pilot but we could not find one. We ended up getting a Toyota highlander. Great choice. We plan on keeping both current cars for a long time.
I agree. Mazda’s are good from my experience. I have a 2010 Mazda3 with 140,000 miles on it, and it is a very reliable and dependable car. It needs some work done to it but it still drives and handles very well.
You forgot to mention big problems with oil burning on Toyota models from roughly 2007 to 2011. Probably too old for most people to buy, but it is a big problem. My 2010 Prius burns oil like crazy, has done so since 150,000 miles (now has 220,000). Smog compenants are starting to fail because of soot buildup. Still Toyota is my favorite brand, just something to watch out for.
nice to see a lot of mazda owners here. it truly is a great carmaker. I drive a cx-9 after previously owning a 2014 mazda 6. The reliability, technology and design plus the relatively affordable price is hard to beat. Glad I made the right choice sticking with Mazda.
Went to a KIA dealer to see a SUV. The salesman showed me that I would have to pay a $5,000 additional "Market Upgrade" fee because of the semi-conductor shortage. On top of a $33,000 MSRP, this was a deal breaker. Must be with the rest of Auto-makers. Maybe if you buy last year's model, there is no such "fee".
then buy a Subaru. the Subaru company sent a message to all the dealers to stop doing that. kia dealers were doing that before the shortage was in the news. they were doing it because the telluride was so popular that they did not spend a week in the dealer lot. and now they are blaming the shortage. and let me tell you something you do not want to be in the situation that you have to buy a engine for that Telluride.omg. kia sell the vehicle for less but they make it up with the parts. I own a Kia Optima. if I sold that by the parts I am going to make a fortune.
Like 6 years ago my mom decided to buy a new car and I knew nothing about cars at the time, but I picked out a Mazda CX-5 for her and Im very very happy about that (considering my lack of knowledge at the time) she absolutley loves it, its super robust, and since everyone began copying the design still looks newer than most new cars🤣
Scotty, I love your channel. But I drove a tow truck for many years, and yes, Japanese cars their engines will run forever (unless the timing belt breaks) however, they would out last the bodies. Japanese car bodies would rust out too quickly for me. My experience in towing, only the Japanese cars broke in half from a collision. Not too cool. But keep up the good work. 👍👍
As a new Englander we learn very quickly to oil undercoat our cars. Yearly. No matter what brand. Do that faithfully, and they do not rust. Including early Japanese models. if you don't, the salt on the roads here will eat an Abrams tank I think. lol
Doesn’t that make them safer though? Cars are designed to crumple in an accident. It’s the rigid American cars that wouldn’t have a scratch after an accident, but people inside would have more injuries.
I've hated Mitsubishi for ever but doing research on them has shown they are one of the cheapest vehicles to maintain over it's lifetime and are actually pretty reliable. The warranty is also great, because the trust their cars.

Any Scotty fan already knows it's Toyota, Honda, and Mazda without watching the video

I've only seen one disabled Toyota in my whole driving career and it's the one my niece drove and that's because she didn't get any maintenance done on it. I've seen several dodges, almost every time I get on the interstate.
Definitely 😂
Toyota sells the most cars out of any car manufacturer in the world. It makes sense for them to have one of the largest recalls ever because of how many cars they produce and sell.

Toyota, Honda and Mazda should be known as the new Big 3. I live in a major city and I noticed that the old big 3 (ford, Gm, dodge ) only make up 1 in 10 of the cars you see on the road.
My sister has one and it’s lasted here 8-9 years. I bought a Mazda 3 last year. They just make good vehicles that are high quality.

Three great car brands. Since Ford sold their interest in Mazda their transmissions have more longevity. They are fun to drive and I am glad . Mazda are now made completely in Japan. 90% + are Japanese parts. They are much smaller company but are dedicated to doing a great job.

Many Mazda 3s are assembled in Mexico (such as my 2021 Mazda 3 S sedan).
My CX-30 GS is made in Mexico..
Wasn't there a de-link between Mazda and Found On Road Dead. Sounds like the BEST DIVORCE EVER.

@Bruce Morris ok, boy racer.
Yep. Same here. The g-vectoring makes the CX5 handle surprisingly well at speeds other similar sized vehicles need to slow down for. It's a great feeling when a Ford F150 hugs the inside lane on an on ramp and I just zoom zoom around him on the outside.

Likewise. Mazda family since the 1980s. Won over by the venerable GLC, and succeeding 323. Tough, ready to rumble cars.

Always a Chevy girl but willing to change now cuz I don’t trust their service advisors. It is very upsetting that the some service departments treat their customers this way. Have a great day everyone!

I have a Tundra, 2003, a 97' CRV, Honda and an 89' K3500 Chevy. All good stuff!
@@asajayunknown6290 I drive pretty conservatively… unless someone is too slow for my take.
My 2016 Tundra is the best truck I've ever owned! And at 59 yrs old....I've owned a lot of vehicles!
The mazda rotary engines fail in a huge way quite often. The amount of oil they consume is also not ideal.
Having owned three Gen 2 RX-7’s, yeah you very quickly learn what an “apex seal” is 😂 extremely high maintenance but god what a fun little car
Great production Scotty ! Love it
Where's the Mazda Protege and 323 modded w Turbo n AWD! 👀
Excellent video! Perfect narration and pace and chock full of invaluable information. Thank you!
3 Mazda’s, just moved up to a Honda Acura RDX. Never any issues.
Mazda not only goes for the feel but the looks too, I do not care what anyone saids, if you drive a mazda you will see the difference right away.
i love your attitude and knowledge you share you are easily one of the best car related youtube creators
I agree. Mazda’s are good from my experience. I have a 2010 Mazda3 with 140,000 miles on it, and it is a very reliable and dependable car. It needs some work done to it but it still drives and handles very well.
Can confirm that a 170,000+ mile CX5 still runs great, I love Mazda reliability! 😀
One from Nissan to Mazda last year on a CX-3 that I bought certified pre-owned with 14,000 mi on it and I love it. I will never go back to Nissan
Why not Subaru? Primarily Outbacks?
Edsel, DeLorean , and Studebaker
I have two of the three cars recommended. Civic and a cx5 ,Mazda will always be considered by me . I’ve owned two of them and love them.
Scotty, I echo "Darth Dracula's" statement. I love your new series. Love learning about cars and their history. Great decision.
Toyota; reliable, slow and business car.
Honda; reliable, speed and cheap interiors.
Mazda; reliable, luxury and stunning look.

I love my Honda and I like your description of Honda's.
Have a great day. 🌞
Mazda is a hidden gem 😉
I love my Mazda, my 9 years old CX5 has no any engine issue. Ride like a dream also so fuel efficient.
According to scotty that is blaspheme talks.
nice to see a lot of mazda owners here. it truly is a great carmaker.
Lol, Scotty not a body guy. How would he know? He"s a mechanic. Scotty take note. Lol.
Just bought a 19 Mazda 3 hatchback premium with a manual transmission. I'm loving it so far.
I've hated Mitsubishi for ever but doing research on them has shown they are one of the cheapest vehicles to maintain over it's lifetime and are actually pretty reliable. The warranty is also great, because the trust their cars.
They just don't have much to offer to the North American market right now. It would be nice to see them give it a real effort again.
Owned a 1984 Starion , 1 injector in 198k miles a ND never left me stranded. Cruzed at 90 mph .
late 90s to mid 00s mitsubishi tho
