Being British I’m so glad you’re enjoying our country. I love watching you guys. You’re doing now what I longed to do when I was younger. I truly hope you guys keep having fun and bringing a little joy to your fans. ❤️
The Yanks gave English food a bad name during the war when things were hard to get. British and Irish food, cooked properly with good ingredients is as good as anywhere in the world.
My thoughts exactly. I'm glad you guys are single-handedly showing the audience that British food is not disgusting. It's just a myth. If you know where to eat, you can eat healthy, delicious, and full flavoured British fayre
Those are proper English pies. Too many places just put a dreadful balloon of puff pastry on to a bowl of stew and call it a pie. They look delicious. I'm astonished that more countries haven't embraced the savoury pie.
thank you for showing England is such a positive light - I'm so privileged to be British and live here. I love our countryside and small market towns and villages. I'm not a city girl but London is beautiful and exciting. I live near Brighton, look me up next time you're here and I'll show you around Brighton. x
I've seen all of their vlogs and they spent so long talking about their food, that I found myself saying 'don't let it go cold! And while some Americans get on my nerves, these two are cool!
Wow that looks delish! You guys are really killing it with this series, I have never seen such good content on England before. Exploring the UK is at the top of my bucket list, so y’all are giving me great ideas for when I get go. Good job 👏
We hope you get to visit one day! We're constantly blown away by the sites and history there. England and the UK in general is beautiful and delicious 😍
I can see you guys have been totally affected by the British winter weather - craving pies & welsh cakes. Can you tell I'm hungry as I'm watching this?
Thanks for sharing your amazing trio to England with us! I've always wanted to Christmas in the English countryside. I feel like I'm there without any of the hassle!
I like that you drive around and check things out rather than just utilizing public transit...i'm always amazed on some other travel vlogs that the first thing they do when they get on a train or bus etc...is hop on their computer or instantly sleep or watch a video rather than seeing what is outside the window...pies seemed expensive...
Oh Endless Adventurers...those pies! As a native of the area I can say the West Country does make brilliant pies, amongst other foodstuffs. Next time I'm in Gloucester I'll check out that pie place...
"Replying is futile" is a fool and is spouting complete rubbish. For a start Leeds is 175 miles away and while I'll admit parts of some of our larger cities can get a little grumpy from time-to-time, crime against the person is very rare. So come and visit us!
@Replying is futile I apologise for calling you a fool. I don't know you so I should not have said that. What I should have said is that the views you expressed are foolish. I never said we didn't have our problems and there's no question that some of the areas you cite have challenges. But you're just factually wrong about Brixton, Portsmouth (where I live) and large swathes of Glasgow. Clearly you've got issues - the source of which no doubt lie elsewhere - and I should have recognised that. So I hope you stay off platforms such as this, social media, forums etc for the time being while getting support (what is a proven fact is that people with a mental health deficit should do that) and then come back healthier and better placed to appreciate what a truly fantastic country the UK is. Best wishes.
@mrwogo goolies Nothing - and I mean, really, absolutely nothing - is more extraordinary in Britain than the beauty of the countryside. Nowhere in the world is there a landscape that has been more intensively utilised - more mined, farmed, quarried, covered with cities and clanging factories, threaded with motorways and railway lines - and yet remains so comprehensively and reliably lovely over most of its extent. It is the happiest accident in history..... Bill Byson, US- born writer
£7 is alot for a pie buuuuuuut from the look of them they are good pies. Well filled nothing like you'd get in a supermarket. Also Game Pie be suspicious if its cheep the filling should be local wild critters not farmed so some bloke spent the evening walking around the countryside with a gun to get the filling for that pie.
It's actually currants not raisins in Welsh Cakes, my Grandmother taught me that they were much better than raisins. I'm Welsh and our Welsh cakes are a delicious staple but not necessarily a breakfast item, more like afternoon tea. You should try Morrisons or Asda's instead of Waitrose as you're on a budget, Asda is owned by Walmart but not many people turn up there in their under clothes! At least not in the UK lol
I have been watching your travel vlogs recently and think they are fab and then just found that you visited my home town in cirencester on your uk road trip, Hope you had a great stay and look forward to more of your travel adventures when this virus has gone. take care, Wayne.
Love your videos, you make our English food look so delicious and inviting! My mouth is now watering! You should try from an English chippy steak savoury pudding, chips, mushy peas and gravy!!! A traditional dish from the north!
The food looks excellent , feeling hungry just watching. As you are in Gloucester you are near to Shropshire a county I lived in for many years,Shrewsbury is a fascinating medieval town well worth visiting.
As i am an Englishman from London now living in Ohio since 1978, I always hear Americans knocking British food, after watching your videos on British food, I dont see any complaints about the food.SOOOO did you really enjoy it, I know I miss a lot of it.Did you try the jellied eels and pie and mash. I make a lot of the food you tried in UK and give some to American and they always love it and ask for the recipe.great videos you make, thanks.
Dude, it's so crazy as a British person to see you guys filming yourself eating pies. That's everyday for us. Imagine watching a British person evangelise about a pancake stack at iHOP. The mundane re-framed to look amazing. Love it. x
Having watched many of your videos I think you two have to be the nicest people on youtube! You are not affected like so many, you’re totally natural and we don’t have to put up with endless swearing and trying to be clever all the time. It’s very refreshing and a pity all youtubers can’t be like you.
Just literally found you guys on UA-cam!!!! Great videos subscribed straight away! I am from Gloucestershire we are such foodies here! Shame you weren't here in the summer it's even better!!! Looks forward to catching up with your content and watching future stuff!!!!!
Really enjoy watching your videos - keep up the good work. One observation is that you seem to shop frequently at Waitrose - there are far cheaper supermarkets that you could frequent that have all of the same fresh ingredients at a much lower cost. Tesco, Sainsbury, Morrisons etc. Just an FYI. Still love the videos though.
I'm from Gloucester--I actually used to live there at the Docks where the rink was set up--so it's a little surreal for me to see you two swanning around here. Hope you had fun!
I love you guys! And Allison's smile lights up my day! 😄Thanks for all the great tips. I adore the UK, and will definitely take advantage of the spots you mentioned in this video. Cheers!
We love your reports on the UK. We lived in the US for eight years, made many friends, loved the local culture. Rode our motorcycle through the back roads and small towns. We avoided cities, as we do in most parts of the world. But seven quid for a pie? There isn't a pie of that size on the planet worth seven quid.
Glad you had a rest guys. Try and visit Warwick Castle if you’re in the area. Tetbury in the Cotswolds is where Charlie boy lives( Prince Charles). It’s a beautiful village. Lower Slaughter,Broadway,Bourton on the water,. Great Vlog!👍🏼👍🏼
Hi from England!! Stumbled across your Channel and I love it! Fantastic Videos guys. I have to say that Food in the UK rivals anywhere in the World nowadays. My local City is Birmingham, so I am a regular at The Botanist and The Alchemist! If you’re ever in Birmingham again, then you must try Afternoon Tea at the Edgbaston Boutique Hotel - highly recommended! Much Love to you both 💕
We enjoy your videos a lot, you always seem to shop at Waitrose, it’s possibly the most expensive food shop in the UK! You should try Aldi or Lidl instead!
I see so many Americans dissing British food online without actually having tried any. It's so good to see you guys trying it and enjoying it. If I ever go to the States I promise to try American food that sounds weird and judge it on it's merits the same way you do for ours!
Can't say I agree with the use of Waitrose (way-troze to Brits) shopping all the time. It's expensive! Toddle down to Lidl or Aldi for great food at 1/3 the cost.
those pies look truly scrumptious Most famous place for quality of pies is Yorkshire I believe(You have just been there ) and Ayrshire in Scotland has a good pie rep North of the border---also that looked like a great wee '' pod'' you rented. enjoying this English adventure guys ---OH yeah--HAPPY NEW YEAR--lang may yer lum reek.
Love the video as ever, but it's hilarious in the final bit where he says the sentence about the pasta in an English accent but still pronounces 'pasta' like 'posta'!
The Corinium museum in Cirencester is one of the best in the country - the Roman mosaics that have been dug up and restored in there are astonishing. Gloucester cathedral is a wonderful place too - it houses the tomb of Edward II, who waged bloody wars on Scotland and was taken prisoner and murdered by usurpers, and the cloisters were used in the Harry Potter films as parts of Hogwarts. Well worth taking in a rugby game at Kingsholm too, especially against local rivals Bath or Bristol - one of the most raucous sport venues in the country. It doesn't have much going for it does Gloucester, but I have a little soft spot for it all the same.
There has been no mention of an old family favorite, that I know both of you would enjoy, 'toad in the hole'. Yorkshire pudding with sausages usually served with veggies and gravy, well, it was when I was a kid.
I love your enthusiasm and honesty. And I love your soundtrack. Yorkshire wraps dipped in gravy, by no means a traditional dish. But absolutely delicious
zuchini = Courgette :) P.s. if there's an ALDI or LIDL where you stay, shop there instead of Waitrose . Much cheaper and the veggies are top quality too.Waitrose is for rich folks.
first time i had welsh cakes was in wales too lol i didn't even know they were a thing until we spent the weekend there. our host provided us with little breakfast things and they were part of it. i need to remember to get them when we get our first visitors in a couple of months :D
The Endless Adventure. The pod looks boss. If you decide on pies obviously when your hungrier, mash and mushy peas are wonderful with them. If you do not like this, mustard is brilliant on pie.
I hope you guys can get down to the West Country again and visit Somerset, Hampshire, Jurassic Coast. You guys should also definitely check out the Isle of Scilly off the coast of Cornwall, it's a lovely island that's almost tropical like. Probably best to experience in the warmer months though, but definitely a recommendation.
Thanks for the suggestions! We really want to make it out to the Jurassic Coast (and surrounding area) soon! And the Isle of Scilly looks absolutely amazing...adding it to our list 😍

Robert Hayes I am not British but I am missing good old England✌
Lukas Gmünder - are you German?
Jack Beanstalk - tbh you're right
Well said! It's nice to see genuine people enjoying what loads of us probably take for granted or forget
Why aren't they fat?
Thanks guys for showing the world our food is not crap ITS some of the best in the world.
The Yanks gave English food a bad name during the war when things were hard to get. British and Irish food, cooked properly with good ingredients is as good as anywhere in the world.
I agree, English food is some of the best food I ever had.
My thoughts exactly. I'm glad you guys are single-handedly showing the audience that British food is not disgusting. It's just a myth.

Those are proper English pies. Too many places just put a dreadful balloon of puff pastry on to a bowl of stew and call it a pie. They look delicious. I'm astonished that more countries haven't embraced the savoury pie.
I wish we would. It's too bloody expensive to fly there just for a steak and mushroom!
If you want a pie you come to Wigan. We’ll show you a proper pie lad
thank you for showing England is such a positive light - I'm so privileged to be British and live here. I love our countryside and small market towns and villages. Allison's penguin mittens are so cute 😁
Warwick castle is a must while you are in the Stratford area.
Kenilworth too.
They are on a budget Warwick castle is expensive ...from a resident of Warwick
Oh Endless Adventurers...those pies! As a native of the area I can say the West Country does make brilliant pies, amongst other foodstuffs. Next time I'm in Gloucester I'll check out that pie place...
Awesome, we hope you do! They were so fresh and delicious :)
What an amazing trip! Enjoyed the video immensely🌟👍😊
The tiny house is sooooo adorable!!!! 😍 - Anna
Right? We had so much fun in there! 🏡
Is that the countryside of England? It's so beautiful and quaint. It must be so peaceful there.

I love English food like those pies!!
The pies and the Welsh cake looked great. Cool place to stay too.
damn those pies look so fire!!!
Davidsbeenhere They look Fire??. Do you mean they look great?.
At 7 quid a go they should be dipped in Gold!!!
My thought exactly, £7 for a pie!

Everything you ate looked absolutely delicious (yes, even the healthy stuff!). Hope you have a great weekend (wherever you are?!)
Thanks so much, Paul! We're back in the US, but we still have a few more UK vlogs to go (with loads of yummy food) 👍
These videos make me want to do two things. Eat and go on Holiday. Really good work. Thank you!

Welcome to the wonderful world of pies!

It’s very refreshing and a pity all youtubers can’t be like you.
I love a good pie this time of year. I always make a hole in the top and pour all the gravy in before cutting in.
Now that is a great idea!!! 😊
Just literally found you guys on UA-cam!!!! Great videos subscribed straight away! I am from Gloucestershire we are such foodies here! Shame you weren't here in the summer it's even better!!! Looks forward to catching up with your content and watching future stuff!!!!!

Aww, thanks so much, Lindy! Glad you enjoyed the video 😊
Watching from December 2020 and getting my Christmas fix from these videos. I miss human contact.
I can't believe you went to Cirencester, Gloucester and Bath but missed Bristol, the best city in the South West of England... and so good for food.
They get there, eventually.
I love Animals I second Warwick castle, I loved visiting it!
This was filmed like 3 weeks ago before christmas. Dont think theyre in uk anymote.
Think they're back in the US of A now.
Its beautiful around that way, bit of a hidden gem in England.
Thanks for the suggestions! Sadly, we are indeed back in the US, but we'll be back to England soon enough 😉
Thanks for liking our food and culture

Stratford upon Avon isn't far at all I love watching you go round England so I can find these cool places too.
Awesome! Hopefully you have some good adventures when you're exploring :D
We enjoy your videos a lot, you always seem to shop at Waitrose, it’s possibly the most expensive food shop in the UK! You should try Aldi or Lidl instead!
You guys stay in the most amazing places 😀
Surprised you didn't have a quick look around Gloucester Cathedral!! It was used for some of the filming of Harry Potter! Bx
Wells Cathedral is worth a visit too.
King John's tomb is in there, where he ended up after losing the Crown Jewels in The Wash
So jealous, living in Florida now I so miss a Holland’s meat and potato pie, chips, mushy peas and gravy.!
Hopefully you find a delicious alternative in FL to get you through!
Or a pukka pie. Those things are delicious.
Hollands pies are crap nowadays,
The last time I had a Hollands Meat Pie, it was refreshingly like the ones I'd had from 1957-2007
You must be a Lancashire lass and likely to have consumed many a Babbies Yed.
I see so many Americans dissing British food online without actually having tried any. It's so good to see you guys trying it and enjoying it. If I ever go to the States I promise to try American food that sounds weird and judge it on it's merits the same way you do for ours!
The most recent vlogs of Americans and food were very favourable to the food!
Can't say I agree with the use of Waitrose (way-troze to Brits) shopping all the time. It's expensive! Toddle down to Lidl or Aldi for great food at 1/3 the cost.
In a lot of places it’s pronounced ‘Wait-rose’ ( the ‘t’ is silent).
And where staff are treated 1/4 as well.
I live in Gloucester! Nice to see some places I know! Hope you enjoyed the quays. Pro tip - park in toys r us for free for 3 hours
Oh cool, we had a lovely half day in Gloucester! And thanks for the tip 👍
those pies look truly scrumptious Most famous place for quality of pies is Yorkshire I believe(You have just been there ) and Ayrshire in Scotland has a good pie rep North of the border---also that looked like a great wee '' pod'' you rented. enjoying this English adventure guys ---OH yeah--HAPPY NEW YEAR--lang may yer lum reek.
Game pie, my favourite kind of pie!
Love the video as ever, but it's hilarious in the final bit where he says the sentence about the pasta in an English accent but still pronounces 'pasta' like 'posta'!
Stood out to me too. Not to mention zucchini instead of courgette and 'erbs instead of herbs.
The Corinium museum in Cirencester is one of the best in the country - the Roman mosaics that have been dug up and restored in there are astonishing. I bet you didn't feel the cold after those great pies.
pie looks amazing
There has been no mention of an old family favorite, that I know both of you would enjoy, 'toad in the hole'. Yorkshire pudding with sausages usually served with veggies and gravy, well, it was when I was a kid.
best of luck to both of you .and yes the pie`s , ( davidsbeenhere ,said and i agree ) look real good .all the best.
Doctor Foster went to Gloucester, In a shower of rain; He stepped in a puddle, Right up to his middle, And never went there again.
You're NOT a poet and you don't know it!
How do you both stat so slim? You are making me so hungry with the amazing food you are eating. Yummy!
You guys are awesome loving the channel.....although now im starving :)
I love your enthusiasm and honesty. And I love your soundtrack. Yorkshire wraps dipped in gravy, by no means a traditional dish. But absolutely delicious
I have stayed in that very pod at YHA Stratford upon Avon! They are fab and the food at the YHA restaurant is pretty good to

I timed this watch perfectly. I'm sat eating a steak and ale pie hahaha.
the pies looked great... that final pasta with broccoli on top made my Italian heart miss a beat by how bad it looks 😅
Omg you literally drove right past my house 😂
zuchini = Courgette :)
P.s. if there's an ALDI or LIDL where you stay, shop there instead of Waitrose . Much cheaper and the veggies are top quality too.Waitrose is for rich folks.
No one enjoys food more than you two.
☝️ truth!
You should visit Svalbard. THAT’s an adventure. Be sure to visit around march.

Im from brirmingham but i wish you guys had gone to newcastle. Its a really cool city
You have to go for a balti in Birmingham, also just outside Birmingham is Lichfield Cathedral which is just breath taking.
Ohh and try Henderson’s relish from Sheffield with any pie or sausage roll :)
you guys really need to spot the freakin' gravy - next level stuff on a pie!!
As a nation we do pies so well. Even our crap ones are still edible. Even tasty if you're hungry enough! But at their best pies are bloody wonderful.
first time i had welsh cakes was in wales too lol i didn't even know they were a thing until we spent the weekend there. our host provided us with little breakfast things and they were part of it. i need to remember to get them when we get our first visitors in a couple of months :D
We love them! Hopefully you find some yummies ones to share :)
That ice-skating rink does not look small at all ! Come and see the one in Pasadena, California. By the way, they are not raisins, they are CURRANTS.
Ah Stratford, less than a stones throw from my house, a beautiful if not pricey town.
The Endless Adventure. The pod looks boss. If you decide on pies obviously when your hungrier, mash and mushy peas are wonderful with them. If you do not like this, mustard is brilliant on pie.
That pie looked yummy. Try Toad in the hole, sausage mash an onion gravy also yummy
Cool Jazz!
Superb food
You people certainly deserves way more subscribers!❤
I’ve lived in Gloucester for 30 years and work about a mile from the docks and had no idea there was a pie shop there 😮
Eric, your pie looked like it had a spider sitting on top of it.
One of my favorite meals is a Marie Challender lg beef pot pie!!😜😜 I can only imagine what one tastes like there.. The Real Stuff😜😜😜.
Ooh man...ur killing me as u bite into those delicious hot Welsh pies! Yummo 😋
