My favorite car that was added to GT7 in 2024 is the Toyota GT-One. The memories of Gran Turismo 4 punched me in the face. The details are beautiful, the sound is excellent, and you explain why it’s in Gr.2 perfectly. I was a little desperate to try to fit it in Gr.1, but I suppose it is what is. I still cannot get over myself that this Gran Turismo legend is back after its 11 year absence!
I'm a simple man, give me good engine sounds and I'll drive--The LP-560 and the 430 Scud were the two that did it for me. Huge enthusiast for that era of the automobile and loved seeing those old GT5 favs come back to the series. And always hoping for more along the late-'00s lines. Certainly could do with those over GTR #1201380 and the latest Vision GT nonsense.
For me the cars I was most excited for were the EVO 8 and 9. I’d been waiting eagerly since GT Sport for the CT9A platform to return. I’ve always liked the 7 for its red tail lights and the style of the rear spoiler and I’m sure we will get the 7 at some point but I’m so happy with what we did get non the less! The Escort was also a delight to get. Certainly was a good year for cars imo.
My top are: Ford Escort, Honda NSX GT500, Volvo 240, Skyline R31, BMW E36, HiAce, Jimnies, and Mercedes-Benz W196 R. How grateful I am for the Escorts!
My picks 1. Honda NSX GT500: I’m an NSX fanboy and own one as well irl so it feels nice to have my car in there. 2. Toyota GT-ONE: Nostalgia and it’s a really good Saradegna car. 3. Volvo 240SE: It’s the ultimate sleeper car
My picks - TS020, GT legend car as always, and brutal power Gr.2. - 240SE, it's a meme at first but later with swaps it's even better. - 430 / Gallardo / R8 V10 / EG Civic / R31 Skyline, I love that they care about the older models that's relevant to existing models. - E36 M3, with v1.49 update it's one of the spotlight of the year - Escort RS, it's on the leak list for so long and finally arrived and well represented. - Urus / RGT / 992 / R35 T-Spec, no comment but fine to race them from time to time However Affela / Genesis VGTs / Bvlgari VGT / Mission X / Skoda VGT are really not my cup of tea, I'm not an EVO aficionado so EVO8 / 9 didn't mean the much for me, R4 / Jimnys are fun but not much
For me, there's 6 stand outs of the year. First 4 were already favourites of mine in Gran Turismo, last 2 are predominantly due to their interior experience. Honda Civic EG SIR II Subaru Impreza Rally Car Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Toyota GT One Race Car Skoda Vision GT Mercedes W196R
Maybe not everyone’s cup of tea but I really like the Genesis X Gran racer , it’s a missile on any tracks with plenty of straights ie Monza . For Grinding nothing seems to beat the Porsche turbo . Great channel and look forward to more great content 👍
Two cars on your list illustrate what’s wrong with the current state of GT7. First, the Skoda. Why bother adding a new brand when we don’t actually get real, usable cars instead of another useless Vision EV. Completely pointless to most players. Second, the Toyota GTOne. This addition relies solely on nostalgia and doesn’t really bring anything new to the game. This car does not handle well or turn at all and is more of a good memory than a good car. We need more modern group 1 and 2 cars as well as more races. I would also add that nobody needs the umpteenth EVO or GTR. Enough is enough already.
The GT-One is grossly misrepresented in this game. People forget the 1999 model was an LMGTP car that could lap just as fast as Group C cars and even not far off modern day Hypercars. In GT7 it’s a joke, the 1998 version would’ve been more appropriate for GR2 since it’s 7 seconds a lap slower than the 1999.
Ya PD tends to become obsessed with adding a million trims of the same model. They have done this with the skyline/GTR, lancer, and also the Porsche 911. It seems we get one of these 3 in every single update almost 😂
It would have been good if the added something like an Octavia VRS along side the Skoda VGT, it would have been better than brining in a new manufacturer but it been represented entirely by a fictional car.
Ive returned after a yr hiatus and it seemed the grind has gotten even harder. The old 700 builds dont seem to do it any more. Sad they keep making the game less appealing to come back to.
Happy New Year HSG! Wishing you all the best this year! Hoping we get some really cool stuff in GT this year!

Subaru Impreza Rally Car
Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4
Toyota GT One Race Car
Skoda Vision GT
Mercedes W196R
When we get new circuits then I'm hoping to see Mondello Park. Some of the layouts are perfect for a lot of car classes.

You're right on, tracks, tracks, tracks. A 914-6, an Europa, and super 7. These 4 things would be pleasing.
The Bvulgari, the Hiace Van, and the Toyota GT1 are the best cars that are my favorite
Volvos
Need more of them in game
Also more trucks
Gt one is my favorite car in the game nothing comes very close
If anything, I want the final model (1989) 930 Turbo in the game just because it has a more usable 5-speed gearbox.
Saw a random Forza video today, they have the Senna and the GMA T50 and what do GT7 players get...a panelvan.
I like the 2024 GTR skyline, that thing is quick, I finally beat fisherman's ranch
I like the skoda vgt it can cheese some weekly eventa that would require a road car super overpowered on them races❤❤
My Top 10:
- GT-One
- Jimny Sierra (with the swap its fantastic)
- W196
- R31
- E36 M3
- Evo 8
- Cossie
- 992 Turbo S
- NSX GT500
- Impreza WRC
Toyota gt one race car
