    FOLLOWING ON FROM OUR RECIPE FOR SAFFRON BUNS, I WOULD WE SHOULD SHOW YOU SOME MORE CORNISH RECIPES.
    SO HERE ARE THOSE FABULOUS GINGER BISCUITS...
    CORNISH FAIRINGS.
    INGREDIENTS:
    * 8oz/225g plain flour
    * half tsp salt
    * 2 tsp baking powder
    * 2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
    * 2 tsp ground mixed spice
    * 3 tsp ground ginger (we used 2 and it was enough for us)
    * 1 tsp cinnamon
    * 4oz/110g butter
    * 4oz/110g caster sugar
    * 4 tbsp golden syrup, gently warmed so its easier to work

    Now I’m not keen on ginger but these look wonderful and the kids who do like ginger love them. Give them a go. Much cheaper to make your own xx
