So glad I found you! I've been transitioning my diet to whole food plant based. This channel has been so helpful so far! Other vegan channels use fake meats and I really strive for whole, planted based. This was a helpful video!

Just found your channel - love your recipes - I have recently moved from vegetarian to high carb low-fat vegan - Your down to earth instructions are very helpful as I transition to my new way of eating.🌱💚
Thanks for this awesome video. Rancho Gordo, another golden nugget, nice one. You pointed out that Heirloom grow and keep seeds to protect the future of specific plants in this case beans, nice one. The Game Changers suggest the crops and water needed to sustain animals as food sources promotes more CO2 than humanity has managed by itself until now. It doesn't take a genius to see that climate change will effect the availability of edible crops, therefore it shows foresight to act as the people behind Heirloom have. The 2 Esselstyn ladies on UA-cam run their video on quick speed and do pushups and star jumps as their blender operates thus circumventing the noise of the blender and giving the audience a giggle. Anyway, proud of ya. Keep up the good work, you're helping more people than you know. God bless.

11 - Do Bragg Liquid Aminos contain MSG? Bragg does not add any MSG to its liquid amino products. However, MSG is found naturally occurring in many foods, such as mushrooms, tomatoes, parmesan cheese, and soybeans. Since Bragg Liquid Aminos is made from soybeans, there can be some very small amounts of naturally occurring MSG. Patricia Bragg is personally very opposed to adding MSG as a food ingredient to foods, and she is very sensitive to MSG. Many of our customers who are very sensitive to MSG have never had any adverse reactions to Bragg Liquid Aminos. [BACK]
I follow Dr Fuhrman's recommendations. His studies show that we consume 5-10 times the amount of salt that is required. Yes, our bodies need sodium but the amount is very small and we get more than enough in natural sources like vegetables. It is the same for oil. Our bodies cannot process the amount of oil that most people get in their diet. Nuts and seed have the kinds of oil that is healthy for us because it comes inside a whole food source. If you would like to read more about the actual research, I would suggest reading Eat to Live by Dr.Fuhrman. It is very informative.
ok. But I must say this: salt greatly improves the taste of any kind of food. And you know, taste is something that we vegans don't get with every meal... do you know Himalayan Salt? it's a pink one and it has 50% less sodium than regular white salt. And one other detail: himalayan salt contains 88 kinds of minerals, which is a good thing for our health. Oils: unfortunately, nuts like almonds and walnuts are way too expensive in my country, therefore I can't eat them everyday. Instead, I put olive oil in almost everything that I eat, it tastes good and it's very healthy. Coconut oil is good too. Do you use coconut oil? Avocado oil is a powerful one as well... this concept of "Our bodies cannot process the amount of oil that most people get in their diet" is relative, because every diet is very personal and can vary a lot. But I understand what you wrote, Dr. Fuhrman is not wrong. p.s.: do you know anything about germinated seeds? It's a "super food"!
I ordered the island survival box from Rancho Gordo, cooked the black beans last 'cuz not a big fan-they were fantastic-tasted like butter! The yellow-eyed beans tasted like pork! Just ordered beans from Rancho Gordo because I am worth it. I have spent more money on animal products and to what avail? Health is wealth.🦋
Isnt raw cashews bad for your kidneys?
Is salt not vegan ...?
Lovely 😘
liquid amimo is MSG 😓

You should do asmr vids 😀
Cooking beans in tomatoes(or anything acidic) will make them take forever.
cook the beans separately: add half tea spoon of baking soda to the water and let it boil - it will take quarter of the time.
I don't get it. Why you don't use salt or oil? it's good for your health and it's vegan...
Wow, these oils are just bad for you. Whole foods...eat the avocado not the oil, eat the coconut, not the oil. To say oil is healthy is crazy!
You can not buy raw cashews, unless direct from a farmer.
For $6/lb., those beans better cook themselves.
At LEAST. They better be what was meant when they said "Beans, beans, the magical fruit".
I ordered the island survival box from Rancho Gordo, cooked the black beans last 'cuz not a big fan-they were fantastic-tasted like butter! The yellow-eyed beans tasted like pork! Worth the $ to me....I'm from the South and always want to season beans, but cooked them in Spring H2O w/just S&P @ end-they were delish!

Just wondering if you ever studied about or knew anyone that has an underlying itching skin? The doctors know nothing. Thanks!
Jim Gaffigan was right. People from the south are just slower. Not mentally, he said, just in everything.
Jaya O'M Yall northerners need to sliw down and enjoy life 😂
I think I'm the only one who doesn't like nutritional yeast.
sun shine Same. I haven't made a recipe that I like it in. I'll try the popcorn.
www.iherb.com is an unreliable website. I just spent the better part of an hour trying to make an order, trying to make an account...a huge waste of time.
