Cinema 4D Tutorial: Easy Embedded Cloth Look with Only Deformers
Вставка
- Опубліковано 23 гру 2024
- In this Cinema 4D tutorial I'll show you a really cool technique for creating a embedded in cloth look but only using deformers. If you've used soft body or cloth you know it's slow and a bit finicky and sometimes you just want faster results with an easier method. This is a great technique using the collision deformer, smoothing deformer and pose morph in C4D to generate this look quickly. This is a collaboration tutorial with my friend Alessandro Boncio. This is what I've been looking for! Thank you so much for this simple and incredible tutorial!
This is a fantastic technique, thanks for sharing! 😃
Wow! Thank you so much, I really appreciate that! :)
Probably the best tutorial I've ever seen
Very smart technique! Love the control you have all the way through. No calculations and caching. Great!
Oh my god, you helped me a lot to be able to do my modeling homework, it's as simple as you explain it, you have my like ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
This is really helpful! Thank you so much!
Nice work... super clean and clear presentation... Thanks!
Simple and awesome tuto as usual! 💥❤️
Nice trick !
But i think that adding a jiggle deformer on top of that would help to have an even more natural cloth look !
Plus, I would have prefered a more procedural approach to drive the morph deformer with the fields ; just use the bottle object itself instead of a capsule child, by dragging it in a new, empty plane's weight map with is "Use field" option checked ; change the vertex mode to "surface" ; and just add a "Freeze" layer on top of it with a "Add" fusion mode and its mode set to "grow"...
Just use this animated weight map as a field of the morph deformer or, even simpler, drag this weight map in a "Restict" tag on the morph deformer :)
These are awesome ideas, great feedback mate, thanks for your input to make this work even better. Good idea especially with the jiggle deformer, I bet that would add a ton!
...3 years later..
For some reason I don't get the vertex map to affect the Morph deformer. It's not the first time I have this problem. It's growing alright.. Either there is a bug or I am applying it wrong.
Wooo....you are a Modeling Monster..!
Amazing..!
Such a well presented and informative tutorial. Great work
Brilliant!
That reset osr made you my personal jesus man! Thanks a lot, great tut
thank you very much
really helped
big fan from bangladeshhh!!
Brilliant solution! I should really play with all the powerful deformers a lot more!
OUT CLASS Amazing technique still waiting more technique...... for cloth
Excellent tutorial thank you. I'm guessing this is where a good CPU comes into it's own. Unfortunately I'm curently on a Macbook Pro so this kind of animation coupled with the sub-d deformers give me severe throttling and I get cpu and ram usage warnings!
Yeah, unfortunately this gets heavy on the CPU so you're definitely going to be hurting with a macbook! :(
! I'm dragging with magnet tool but to no avail! how to fix?
:(
Hi nice tutorial ! really helpful stuff ! but if I wanna to bake all the deformer animation for wrapping things up, what should I do , I tried the build in cache tag in collision deformer ,but it didn't work the way I hoped , could u give me some advices ,pls
Greate, and Thanks so much
That is one great tutorial. Smart, concise, comprehensive. More please. :)
Thanks for the kind words! :)
Thanks! Great lesson! I liked it very much!
I click Magnet and Magnet empty?
How can resolve problem ?
click the magnet with "model" next to it
@@archiebrunsdon3023 I did it :( but it was the same problem! I'm dragging but to no avail!! how to fix??
brilliant
You rock! nice tips
Thank you for sharing!
Easy way to learn c4d thank you 🙏🏻🌹
Nice! Thanks
IS it normal for none of these tutorials to ever work like they do in the videos? I've come over to C4D from Modo, and I'm yet to follow a single tutorial that produces the result in the video.
Such a clever tutorial.. thanks for sharing :)
amazing
Awesome!
very useful!!! Thank you for sharing♥
thank you for sharing!
Just a question here, is it possible the Collision effect also can be affected by Simulation like Object falling?
Easy way to LEARN.... Nice
so usefull
Is there a way to do it with the falloff in r19?
Hi, i was following this tutorial, but i'm using R19.. so i couldnt use the "fall off - capsule field " and drag it to the bottle.. will there be other way to solve this problem?
I tried with capsule shape, but couldnt apply to the bottle.. which is the point of what i'm struggling with..
Hi, i had similar problem (im using R20) and I fixed it: before to use magnet tool, don't forget to make editable your plane
the magnet doesn't work!!!! WHY????
make sure to click the magnet option that has "model" written next to it
@@archiebrunsdon3023 model already written but no avail :(
add some delay effector...:)
Нихрена не происходит, когда анимирую филд. 3 раза заново делал, думал мб чет не так нажимаю.
Nothing happens when I animate the field. I did it again 3 times, I thought I was even doing something wrong wrong.
Soo clever ;D
Wow great comments!!!
но сладки тем не менее не торт
Nice, but please, don't call that an 'an easier method' ????!!!!! ahahaha !!!!!
