Sweet, this might actually come in handy for a thing I have in mind for the cube challenge
OU COMON
I guess half of submitions will be hologram :DDDD
The best, magnificent, splendid and greatest tutorial about holograms ever made yet!
love the effect. will definitely play with this. thanks for sharing!
This is by far my favorite hologram tutorial !
This is really ultimate tutorial!!! Thank you so much... ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for the detailed tutorial, Great work as always.
I like your tutorials man, great job
Thank you saved me a lot of time trying to browse videos for an actual working one
Amaaaazing brotha!!! I can already think of a lot of projects I can use this on ;D
You are one of the king of that new generation / promotion of Blender channel 😄👍
Thank you very much. I love the way of explanation for all the math in those cases. 🙂🙃
Thank you man for sharing this stuff
Cool tutorial!
Thank you so much I’m making soft so fast now back then I was confused, thanks
Absolute legend. Nice one
wow! we always have everytNice tutorialng to learn! Great to know you!
Thanks a lot for this bro!
You're welcome!
I been through loads of video's about soft . but you are the best thanks for your video's.
Amazing!😳🔥
You took the words right outta my mouth.
Hello. This is indeed a beautiful tutorial. Thanks for uploading it. I also wish to inform you that you posted some tutorials which are outdated on Skillshare. I wish you can update them because I and some other people on Skillshare wanted to take the tutorials only to realise that the nodes you used in blender 2.8 are no longer available in 3.0+
Thank you!
Awesome! Thanks mate)
great tutorial
Thank You!
This is fckn awesome!!!!! You rock man!!!
Very interesting method! thanks for free node tree!
excellent as ever :O)
Indeed amazing
Yess i always wanted to make a blade runner thee, and now its doable. ♥
Thank you fam
Keeps you creating ;)
Thx
thanks mate tNice tutorials was a big help
CYBER HOLOGRAMS Is a Blender add on that makes nice Holograms quickly!...might be the best ones
- really cool trick - MANY thx!! :^]
Wow thank you very much I am a 12 year old and I really like making EDM soft I used to use GarageBand and once I opened up soft
Sooo trueeee
As I was looking for a decent hologram tutorial n you deliver! 👍
Awesome Tutorial! Is it possible to do this effect but replace the image with a video or sequence of images?
Great tutorial! also, what is the intro song?
Wow 👍
Yup
Man it's so crazy watching you doing all of these cool math stuff and getting these cool results
I feel like i'm the most stupid person in the world when I watching a tutorial of yours XD
Great job man thanks so much for these great tutorials
May all your dreams come true and May God crown you with all the success in life. Wishing you many returns of this day. Happy birthday!
When Blender gets a Lorenz Attractor math node, there's going to be some craziness.
When you are decreasing the size with the gradient in Z direction, why do you divide it? First off you define clear values you want to have, 100 at 0 and 1 remains 1. This almost screams Map Range node in my ears 😉 Set From Min = 0, From Max = 1 and map it to To Min = 100 and To Max = 1.
Emit089 thanks man
Are you using the Producer version, if so are all the effects and tutorial you use in the video included as standard with the Producer
DOP :)
yup
Don't matter how long you take, long as you do it cause you love to
Bro, you should make a course on blender nodes, you're expert in it
I'm making one!
It would be nice to see this thing just running, maybe with a slowly-panning camera, at the end of the vid.
Jefferson Sales done a few but not there yet
Tks for ur msg i though i was alone ❤❤
Agreed. All the others just turn your brain upside down. Nice tutorials is simple.
Which hot key are you using to quick connect the nodes ❓❓
impressive, very well said,tNice tutorials is what I need to learn soft soft, your the bes n
wow
I get it
This was a fun one to follow. Thanks. I find that the non-hologram part of my cube renders darker. Any suggestions for setting changes? Thanks again
Try adding a clamp 0,1 node before your density value, some values might be negative. Also, try to disable nodes one by one and see what changes the areas to be dark.
Hi! Same here! Awesome tutorial indeed, I learned a ton here about nodes in general. Edit: Indeed the working solution is dropping the "density" value of your Principled volume down to 0. It defaults to 1.
Oops, I didn't see you released this right before I decided to do a hologram tutorial on my channel. This is a fantastic tutorial! Lots of great information here
Thanks!
@@BadNormals been loving your work, maybe one day we can collaborate!
Sure! I might have a future idea in mind. Where could I contact you?
You never know how much you have in common with so people.
THAT'S RELATIVITY FOR YA
100% I make the sickest soft in my head all day long then the mont I open a DAW...
Classic
In The setup what soft is that the little one
ti (the instrunt into the channel rack) and then it crashes the soft soft... Can soone help please?
Does anyone know if you can upload a video for this?
how come when I turn on the emission strength, there are no light strips or anything, the whole block is like a blurred coloured block
You're right. Understand bit by bit, then try to make a simple soft. You will learn as ti goes on. Even if it's havoc, don't worry, co
my volume is not rendered on the final export (PNG or EXR) though it's showing in the compositing window. Any idea where does it come from?
Problem seems to be that Density is 0.000 so Volume is like 100% transparent.
I am stuck at 5:30 moving the cube without moving the hologram
Anyone know the problem
Can someone tell me how he drag this point at 6:23 ?
I search in Blender docs and i didn't find this kind of manipulation.
CTL RMB to add a point and then how to drag this, thats my queston.
Eric Bridge do you know it’s na? Pure curiosity lmao
Broooooo!
How would I use this texture on a model that already has (like a person) with existing textures on it
A textured model would need a different approach, I recommend you start out by adding a volume shader to your character and mix in the surface textures with a nearly transparent shader. Then you can see the outside and inside at the same time and come up with something hologram-like using a noise for example. Since the character is probably using UVs, you cannot do as much as with XYZ as the UVs are defined only on the surface of the mesh and not inside. I hope I gave you some meaningful directions.
You are doing better and better tutorials, and the videos are smooth and natural.
I also do tutorials on my channel, don't hesitate to come and tell me what you think about it so I can improve.
Are you available for commission work?
not gonna lie too i followed it to the end but my app softs way different to Nice tutorials.
Stick with it it gets easy over ti
So will the same principle apply for a .MOV file, aka a video
Yes, it does
please upload the project file to gumroad
Somebody has been on Ian Hubert Patron recently it seems ;)
Does he have an exact same tutorial there?
Main issue now is if this can be done on eeeve
send you the link of it
hey man, I love your tutorials but for some reason I cant get the emission to work, I'm at the end of my rope tbh for some reason I have never been able to get emission based on a texture to work in blender, I'm in cycles and I've tried on 4.0 3.0 2.93, none of them are letting me just plug the image into the volume of the material output, any chance you know whats going on?
I took the object coordinates, used them as the image input vector, and then I plugged the image output into the Principled Volume's Emission Color. Turned down the density and it worked. Blender 4.0. Try switching Generated/Object coordinates if you're on a Mac. Tried to plug the image into the volume of the material output as well, and this worked too with this technique.
@@BadNormals Ah it was turning the density to like 0.01 and the anisotropic to all the way up that fixed the issue (since the low density you could still see the edges of the cube)
As someone who is very poor at maths (and using math nodes), I'm just curious... How do you find this type of solution on your own? Your tutorial is always mind-blowing 🤯👍👍👍
why is the outside of my picture fuzzy and not like yours
too I made like s on garage band and thought it be easier in softsoft. nope
When I use this, it makes the whole box visible instead of transparent and I have no idea why
If anyone else is having this problem; I managed to greatly reduce it (almost to nothing) by turning the volume BSDF to an extremely low number (0.001) and changing its colour to black instead of the default grey. (Tutorial also does this but cut right past explaining it at 2:17.)
Так что в итоге получилось? В конце видео не показали.
My brain is overheating
!

yo yo toby fox and creo brought here doe
year. I want to get into making soft on desktop because it offers more features but I have just been preferring the softow of mobile apps
