Honored to be in Top 100! Mines here 9:12. First personal project I've done in a while because I have been stuck in a creative rut. So thank Bad Normals for putting this all together.

@@workromworkrom2853 thank you! Nothing to special on my end. Using Sky Texture node Nishita. Playing with settings and position. Also adding in area and point lights to light subject and interest. Glow mode in comp really helps as well.
For me that's the best tho. I love the idea and also this warm and cold look at the same time. Just my fav at all :D

How did you rig the cube?Btw that's a really great render.very creative.
@@hasindukumara5358 thanks!, The cube was hand animated (rotation keyframes), and the controllers were just parented to the centers in the right position

From this collection I like the most 06:44 (Mattew Revee). Snowy mountains match so beautifully with red cube. Looks bewitching.

Both of them are sort of foggy, which can either be relaxing or nostalgic
My animation didn't make it to Top 100 but no regrets at all. I had lots of fun making it and will participate in the next challenge too. Also, congrats to winners and everyone else that was part of this. Great animations!

I really love these render challenge things because of how imaginative they are. It's like getting a glimpse of thousands of alternate worlds, every one is so detailed and I'm always wanting to see more.
You couldn't have worded it better!! It is so wonderful to see how the exact same object can be interpreted in different ways. Such collaborations are my favorite content to watch!

@@hasindukumara5358 oh that's a Brachiosaurus, I kinda put it into the render for paying homage to the first jurrasic park movie cuz that is one of the first dinosaurs that appears in the movie.

I can't even explain how, but this video manages to move me: maybe it's the music, the beauty of these renders, the stories I imagine behind each one of them, the understanding of how much time these people have dedicated to creating these wonders, or a combination of all these factors, but watching these beautiful masterpieces truly moves me and now the only thing I want to do is to hop on my chair and start working on somthing new.

Idk why, but watching these makes me feel sad and nostalgic, like there are so many worlds in the universe, all of them vastly different, but we’re just one of them. We haven’t even fully explored our own world and there’s so much that we don’t fully know. So many guesses and theories, all of which have the possibility of being true. It’s like feeling alone even when there are so many people aren’t you.

@@gogyoo They loved the video and said it was motivating, but we had a small turnout last night so our sample size was low, not conclusive. I would say though that it is not right for you or anyone to judge how you feel about something; feelings are always valid, and I appreciated hearing them. I recently saw a couple excited videos on the state of the art of AI and the imminent inundation of robots replacing human activities and found it all similarly demotivating. Anyway, I recognize that my assumptions are often wrong and try to accommodate other people's preferences whenever I can, thank you for raising my awareness.

My favorites include: 2:54 3:15 6:28 and my absolute favorite is 7:01 The little cardboard people were so cute.

It was great fun watching most of the live stream yesterday. You guys did a great job working with the limited capabilities of UA-cam and ironing things out as you went.
I hope you do another exhibition/contest cast soon. Right now I am enjoying watching the entries at .25 speed. The music is nice at regular speed but like all videos, at .25 speed it sounds pretty bad. I was just thinking maybe there could be a loop that sounds alright at .25 speed and good at full speed.
Also, a time index in the description for each submission with links to the artists' channel would be nice.
