    Brown rice solved many digestive problems including IBS, and has constituted my dietary basis for many years. The digestive process is comfortable, without the bloating, gas, pains often experienced with eating meat, wheat and sugary foods. A good amount of brown rice will provide long satisfaction, avoiding the 'biscuit and candy snacks' so prevalent otherwise. Once cooked it will keep for a couple of days in the fridge and provide accompaniment or basis for easy dishes, with fruit or vegetables.
