Awesome! The Arcadian clay is by far the best hair product I've ever used (sorry, Morris Motley. But you're a close second). Now Arcadian is collaborating with Blumaan. This should be some amazing stuff!
hey, i wannna know why arcadian clay is the best? comparing to cavalier clay and claymation. thks! i live on a tropical climate btw and have a thick hair, so i want to know which one is the best product for me
ardiuna Arcadian Clay is a totally different animal than Cavalier and Claymation. Cavalier and Claymation are more traditional-type, heavy, dense clays while Arcadian is super lightweight, creamy, and wet. For your situation I'd say a wax-based or oil-based clay like Cavalier would hold up better for you.
wtf i have literally been searching for weeks for a product exactly like this, i had thought that it didn't exist. ty blumaan/arcadian my search ends here
Hey man just curious....I bought the discovery kit and have surprisingly really liked this product as it’s super easy to use and seems to work well in my hair. For me though the scent I’m not a fan of....just curious if you know of any products that are similar to the hybrid in the sense that it’s soft to scoop out, easy to apply but a better version of the hybrid?
Arcadian clay pomade. It’s essentially the same thing but a little drier and with more hold. But there are plenty of soft scoopers these days - Hustle clay from TheSalonGuy is great for medium hold, Oasis clay from Templeton Tonics great for strong hold, etc.
Another great review, my good man. Quick question: Do you ever cocktail any of these hair products? Be it Blumaan, Hanz de Fuko, etc...if so, what cocktail have you found to work best? Keep up the good work!
CloudSurfer821 Thanks! I do quite often cocktail - lately my favorite has been to prestyle with 25 and/or Tidal Wave by TheSalonGuy, and then finish with Cavalier or this. But I have so many products, I'm always experimenting :)
Dude ive literally been on the fence for a year i seen this review and for sure ordered it i liked it best on you when you used just a little...perfect finish on that one i like ur work man
+Eduardo Escorcia Thanks! I definitely do - it's a fave combo of mine. The 25 makes it easier to set your shape while blowdrying, and the combo of the two makes my hair feel amazing.
Would you say this is lighter and less dry than the Arcadian Clay Pomade. I want something wet with low/medium hold that doesn‘t tug. Is the Arcadian or this one better for that?
Haider Thanks! Well, this stuff is quite different from Cavalier. I love both, but I feel Cavalier is better for a heavier/firmer holding style, where this is better for softer, looser styles. Both have good hold but Cavalier acts more like a traditional, denser clay.
Hey! would you recommend hybrid if I was growing out my hair? Will it have enough hold for 7~ inches long hair, I also have fine hair, which is why I'm not sure on this against cavalier... what do you think? love the videos!
Can you please do a full review on Arcadian clay pomade. Much much requested. And also a comparison between hybrid and Arcadian clay. Thanks keep up the great work and honest reviews!
I am so pumped for this product i hope blumaan will announce it fast! Also amazing review very nice and in depth !! ,Well i just got my highlights i got darkk blond and they putted a lighter shade of blonde in it but its almost not noticeable so i feel kind of ripped off and dissapointed So should i just wait or buy some highlights at a store and put new ones by myself or ... ?
+KingdomRohan Nah don't get the store bought stuff - they're full of ammonia and harsh chemicals that will fry your hair. It took me 3 - 4 coloring sessions to get mine to where I wanted, so just be patient :) Most people don't get it exactly where they want in one shot because it could be too damaging for the hair.
TDM Style Oww oke thanks for the response, So how lonh should i wait for going back for new color !? or i can buy color in a hairsaloon like the products they use and then do it mtself or just be patient ? 😂
+KingdomRohan You can't buy pro color unless you are a licensed stylist and buy it from a special store. You can color every 4-6 weeks for the first few sessions :)
Hey, I'm deciding to order either Original or Hybrid Cream clay; however, I'm not sure which one to get. I have straight, medium length hair that goes down to my eyebrows, and my usual everyday style is a textured, slightly parted fringe look. I've been using quicksand for the past couple years and loved the texture I got out of it, however application was rather difficult due to how dry and clumpy it made my hair. It basically made my hair feel like straw, howeve once the product settles in after 6 hours, it feels very smooth and natural. I'm able to run my hands through my hair and still get the same amount of texture I had when I first applied it. I'm looking for a product that can do exactly that. I'm not looking for volume, just a texturized lightweight look that is easily workable throughout the day, good hold, and doesn't leave my hair oily.
Well, Original (aka Meraki) and Hybrid are very different from one another. They both provide a matte finish (I think Meraki even more so than Hybrid) - the Meraki is definitely very lightweight and provides pretty high hold. Hybrid provides more texture, probably a similar amount of hold or maybe slightly less. If you're still going to be aiming for the fringe style want want soft hair with lots of texture and decent hold, I'd suggest Hybrid. If you were looking for a prestyler to add lightweight hold, I'd go with Meraki. They do cocktail well together too, but that amount of hold would not be necessary for a fringe style. A clay might even be overkill if you're really just looking for some texture and not that much hold. If you want more like a medium hold and just some texture, smoothness and control, you could try something like Baxter of California's cream pomade (or even their new Clay Effect spray).
I have long straight hair (5-6 inches) and I'm looking for something that'll make my hair stay up throughout the entire day. I like when a product allows me to touch my hair and lets me re adjust it whenever I want. However I cant decide if I want Bluumans Hybrid Cream clay or just the Cavalier Clay. What do you suggest?
Farjad Amin Both are pretty reworkable, but Cavalier is definitely thicker and has a higher/longer lasting hold than Hybrid. Depending on your hair type though, it might be different for you. Hybrid is more designed for thin hair, and Cavalier for thick/unruly hair.
Hey, mate. One question: I have wavy thick dry hair, but I never blow-dry, so lots of frizzy, I know. My goal is is a kind of messy style, not too high hold, but at the same time it has to be something that moists and helps frizzy. Which one is better: Hybrid, cavalier or scheme cream??! low shine or natural matt finish...
Of those 3, probably Hybrid or Scheme Cream would be best for what you’re after. Though above those I’d recommend Bond Paste by TheSalonGuy - medium hold, matte finish, and does a nice job at controlling frizz.
I haven’t done a proper review video for it yet, but yes it does a very nice job at making the hair feel soft and healthy. I especially like to use it on damp hair before blow drying.
Hey, I know you haven't done a 10th doctor video in a while, but in most of them, you use the Hair Concrete, and it's been discontinued since then, and I was wondering what the best replacement/substitute for that would be. Thanks :)
+Bilbo Baggins The closest thing would be a firm clay, like Baxter Clay Pomade, Cavalier, Kevin Murphy, etc. Tons of them out there to try and see what works best for you :)
As someone that's been using Hanz de fukos claymation for over a year how do you think the switching to this product would be... I'm looking for something that has a weaker hold that would make more pliable or loose. I'm sorta sick of claymations feeling in my hair and I want something with less hold. I'm planning on buying a new product but I can't decide between original (smooth) and hybrid, please give me your opinion :) Thanks
+Roshan Pai Hello there! I think Hybrid is exactly what you want. It has a lighter hold and feels really soft in your hair, and is really great for looser styles and can be easily reshaped. The Meraki can be a bit like that too, but it's definitely more tacky and doesn't feel quite as soft as Hybrid once set. They do cocktail nicely though, if you want the softness of Hybrid but the added hold of using Meraki as a prestyler :) I hope this helps!
So I have thick hair, not super thick, but thick enough. I've been using Hanz de fuko's gravity paste, sponge wax, and claymation. I already bought cavalier clay and waiting to it to come in which I'm excited for bc it seems to be one of the best out there right now. Gravity paste and sponge wax are good products for my hair if I want a more messier or light/loose look, but in the summer lately it hasn't been doing the job. I sometimes use quicksand when it's humid out to give me that relaxed messy look, but I feel I could use a bit better hold when I have it in. So would you recommended this product for me if I'm looking for a product that can give me a messy/relaxed look but still has a good hold and can withstand the heat/humidity of summer?
+Mike Capalungan Definitely! That's basically exactly how it works for me. Not as high a hold as Cavalier, but still pretty good considering how light it is. Plus it makes my hair feel moisturized and seems to combat the heat pretty well.
TDM Style Thank you so much for replying! Also since my hair is thick I already know cavalier clay is going to be better for me, but is there a big difference in the hold between Cavalier and Hybrid?
+Mike Capalungan Not a huge difference, but a fairly significant one. The Cavalier overall has a more traditional clay feel, where the Hybrid stays really soft and bit looser.
Oztrum Strikes Back No, although I haven't cosplayed him in a bit. While Ten is one of my favorites, I (like most cosplayers) enjoy cosplaying lots of different characters.
JosepticBanana86 - Joseph Guda I haven't tried Arcadian yet myself, but this stuff has been great in the heat and humidity we've been having here lately. Holds up nicely.
+TDM Style Hey! I hope Arcadian can hold up too because I can't buy online but a store here sells a bunch of stuff like Arcadian, Baxter of California, HDF, Daimon Barber and tons more stuff. I hope that I can buy some BluMaan soon but for now I'm planning to buy Arcadian. Thanks for responding!
DO NOT buy Arcadian Clay if you have thick hair, especially in hot and humid weather. It will weight your hair down after 15 mins applying. IMO, it just suit for fine or thin hair. Finally, do not believe in reviewers too much. it might work well for them but not the same in your hair type. I thought blumaan products were being hyped so much lately
Hey bro, can I have some advice? I have very fine, medium thick straight hair. I use mousse and I blow dry, but what should I use as a paste to get my hair to stand up tall like blumaan with a strong hold and matte finish? (shiny is a no go since I have acne and it makes me look gross). Thanks for the help!
+NostalgiaFactor Hey there! For lots of volume I honestly do really like the Blumaan Meraki (aka Original Smooth) as a prestyler. Works much better than mousse for me, and way less drying to the hair. Nice matte finish, and very light after blowdrying. Then you can use a bit more as a poststyler too if you want, or maybe finish with a matte clay instead. Hope this helps!
+Xuan Thai Pham Totally different. Meraki has some stickiness to it and has a really dry finish, which I think is best suited to be a prestyler. This has no stickiness at all and is definitely best as a post styler like most clays.
+Just Dank Totally different. This is a lightweight clay with creamy application, pretty high hold and a matte finish. Scheme Cream is a light to medium hold cream with a medium shine finish.
+Nathan Nathan Nope, not sponsored. They sent me the product to review but that's it. If it was sponsored I would say so. I just honestly really love their stuff!
+Ryan Criollo Depends on your hair type and personal preference. Cavalier is a dense, thick clay designed specifically for thick, coarse hair types. This clay is much lighter and creamier and gives a texturally different style from Cavalier. It's all about what you like and what works best for your own hair type and style :)
+Michael Rivandiego They are very different from each other so it's not really fair to compare them. Depends on what hair type you have and personal preference on which works better for you.
+Michael Rivandiego Cavalier was specifically designed for people with thick, coarse, wavy hair like mine. Hybrid would likely be better for finer hair types, but also works great for me.
Hey! would you recommend hybrid if I was growing out my hair? Will it have enough hold for 7~ inches long hair, I also have fine hair, which is why I'm not sure on this against cavalier... what do you think? love the videos!
Rami Matar Thanks! Hybrid is definitely more suited to fine hair than Cavalier is. It has a surprising amount of hold for longer hair - but it takes about 15 minutes to set in. What type of styles are you going for?
TDM Style I want to grow my hair out to pull it all back, not sure how the style is called, if you see TheSalonGuys "no more undercuts" video, the look I'm going for is at 02:40~ While growing it, I'll be doing the regular quiff, untill it's too long for that then I'll start pulling it back/doing something more classy.. You think hybrid is the product for me? Thanks for the quick response!
TDM Style alright thank you very much! I'll be waiting till fifth sample is back in stock and I'm gonna order both! Thank you very much for the quick replies! wish you all the best with the channel!

+Eduardo Escorcia Thanks! I definitely do - it's a fave combo of mine. The 25 makes it easier to set your shape while blowdrying, and the combo of the two makes my hair feel amazing.
Product reviews are great. Keep up the good work.

Oztrum Strikes Back No, although I haven't cosplayed him in a bit. While Ten is one of my favorites, I (like most cosplayers) enjoy cosplaying lots of different characters.
Exciting product! Have a nice sleep hanz de fuko
How does this perform to heavy or humid weather? What do you think is better for that type of weather, Arcadian or BluMaan

+John P Thanks man! 🙏🏻
Great video once again, you should try to change the blonde streaks into brown so it looks natural for your skin tone :)
Jamie Davison Maybe I'll do a darker colorway for the autumn ;)
TDM Style awsome
For the guy who has thick and Wavy hairs, which product you recommend Cavalier clay or this one in video??
+Dwij Patel Cavalier. Hybrid is better suited for thin hair, or looser styles for us thick haired fellas ;)
Thanks man, appreciated it
How is the washability of this product. Does it all wash off?
+Basic Matrix I cover this in the video lol
TDM Style Sorry must have dozed off and never heard of it. Hapens a little lot. idk why..... great video btw
So far this product looks promising, right now I'm using Redken paste...
+NostalgiaFactor I've never used the Redken paste, but I do like some of their other products. Hybrid as a post styler would probably be good for you.
Thanks a lot!
Hi - how does this compare to The Daimon Barber No.4 Clay Pomade ? Thanks.
+Gino Evangelista I haven't used the Daimon Barber one yet, so I can't say for sure.
Your hairstyle is looking abselutely fantastic! How do you ask BluMaan, if you want to get a product for free and make a review on it?
+Lukas Jankovic Thanks! I'm actually not sure, they contacted me. But you could probably get in touch through their contact info on their website :)
How does it compare to Original Styling Meraki ?
+Xuan Thai Pham Totally different. Meraki has some stickiness to it and has a really dry finish, which I think is best suited to be a prestyler. This has no stickiness at all and is definitely best as a post styler like most clays.
Do you recommend this product for thick hair like mines?
+Brian Kop Sure! I have thick hair and it works very well for me. Cavalier works great too though if you're looking for a more traditional clay.
How would you compare this to Hanz De Fuko's Scheme Cream?
+Just Dank Totally different. This is a lightweight clay with creamy application, pretty high hold and a matte finish. Scheme Cream is a light to medium hold cream with a medium shine finish.
Great vid!
+Jose Lopez Thanks!
TDM Style hey matt which clay do u think has a stronger hold baxter of California clay pomade or blumman's cavalier clay?
+Jose Lopez For me they seem almost exactly the same in terms of hold. Both are great!
Is this sponsored? Seems like you're biased with blumaan products
+Nathan Nathan Nope, not sponsored. They sent me the product to review but that's it. If it was sponsored I would say so. I just honestly really love their stuff!
Ah okay cool, does is it made up of healthy ingredients?
+Nathan Nathan It is! Check out the ingredients section of the video.
So just curious, why would someone prefer this to let's say the cavalier clay
+Ryan Criollo Depends on your hair type and personal preference. Cavalier is a dense, thick clay designed specifically for thick, coarse hair types. This clay is much lighter and creamier and gives a texturally different style from Cavalier. It's all about what you like and what works best for your own hair type and style :)
is this out yet
+Ryan Murray Not yet, no. I'm guessing it will be soon!
cool
Does this work for wavy thick hair.
+Russell Liaw I have wavy thick hair and it works for me..
All I see are exalted praises for this clay :/ Sad that with international shipping it rockets to almost USD$30 sigh how exorbitant
which one better between hybrid clay and cavalier clay?
+Michael Rivandiego They are very different from each other so it's not really fair to compare them. Depends on what hair type you have and personal preference on which works better for you.
+TDM Style what do you think the best for thin fine hair and thick hair and hair just like yours
+Michael Rivandiego Cavalier was specifically designed for people with thick, coarse, wavy hair like mine. Hybrid would likely be better for finer hair types, but also works great for me.
+TDM Style can you do product punch out between blumaan hybrid clay vs hdf quicksand?
+Michael Rivandiego Those two products are totally different from one another, so it wouldn't be a fair comparison
Dude - relax, will you? Great vid tho
Nice video
+Karan Patel Thanks!
Why does this look and work exactly like Arcadian Clay Pomade?
+Josh McDaniels Probably has something to do with it being a collab with Arcadian lol
Josh McDaniels it's similar but it's a little heavier
Hey! would you recommend hybrid if I was growing out my hair? Will it have enough hold for 7~ inches long hair, I also have fine hair, which is why I'm not sure on this against cavalier...
what do you think?
love the videos!
Rami Matar Thanks! Hybrid is definitely more suited to fine hair than Cavalier is. It has a surprising amount of hold for longer hair - but it takes about 15 minutes to set in. What type of styles are you going for?
TDM Style I want to grow my hair out to pull it all back, not sure how the style is called, if you see TheSalonGuys "no more undercuts" video, the look I'm going for is at 02:40~
While growing it, I'll be doing the regular quiff, untill it's too long for that then I'll start pulling it back/doing something more classy..
You think hybrid is the product for me?
Thanks for the quick response!
