    So happy to see your name on the packaging! Also, Original by Blumaan was also advertised as being a lightweight product with strong hold, similar to Hybrid Cream Clay. So, for our fine hair, which product would you recommend between Hybrid and Original?

    • @StrandandThread
      @StrandandThread  7 років тому +3

      Thanks my man :) Original doesn't have a strong hold in my opinion . The two products work really well together, original for pre and hybrid for post however if you only have the money to buy one, then i'd choose Original

      +Strand and Thread hey man I'm glad i found you. A lot of hair UA-camrs have thick hair, so their reviews don't really apply to me. I have pretty much the exact hair as you. So you're saying the original has more hold than the hybrid?

      +Strand and Thread I'm using blumaan original right now, after watching your review I was eager to try it out 😂. It turns out that the product is just soo good in my fine hair due to its pre and post styler ability. However, the hold is not soo good, but the reworkable ability of the product cover that disadvantage. Its just the complete package or me 👍 I'm really excited to continue trying the blumaan product line 😀
      cheers for you bro!

    • @StrandandThread
      @StrandandThread  7 років тому

      Aaah that's so good to hear mate! Yeah Original is a great all rounder product but as you say the hold isn't amazing but I guess that's why they are releasing other products to compensate for that

    For me my favorite one is arcadian clay it's provide medium-high hold , texture and very smooth application but i heard from mike modernmantv that this hybrid is improvement from arcadian clay in term of hold which is very exciting, i need to try this one when available in my country haha

    • @StrandandThread

      Oh yeah thanks man , i mean there isnt any reseller that sell hybrid cream clay cuz if i purchase on blumaan website well shipping cost will take around 10-15 usd and not include tax in my country so yeah i dont think it will be worth it. So right know im waiting for my reseller to bring this product in my country haha

    Hey awesome review, I have fine, thick (in density) hair that is about 4 inches long. I like to go for a sort of brushed up natural/messy quiff style with a matte finish. Which product would be best for achieving this look, hybrid cream or original styling meraki?

    • @StrandandThread
      @StrandandThread  7 років тому

      Bob Jones hey thanks man. To be honest I'd use both. The meraki will get you that nice volume which is needed to style that forward facing quiff and then the hybrid will do well to hold that volume in place and make it messy if you wish. However we all have budgets, so if you can only choose one - go with the meraki

    • @BobJones-ss5xt
      @BobJones-ss5xt 7 років тому

      Strand and Thread wow thanks so much for your help, just one more question, do both of rhe products I previously mentioned work better than claymation by hanz de full?

    • @BobJones-ss5xt
      @BobJones-ss5xt 7 років тому

      Fuko

    • @StrandandThread
      @StrandandThread  7 років тому

      They both different from Claymation because claymation is a heavy oil based clay if I'm not mistaken. I have never used claymation so I don't like to compare products that I have never used as I feel that misleads my viewers - however its pretty unanimous across the hair community that meraki and hybrid will work better if you have fine hair

    • @StrandandThread

      Thanks so much my man, huge honour indeed! Funny you should ask that. I've been sent a volumizing powder recently so I'm planning on releasing a video soon expressing my thoughts - but for now I'll say that they're designed for guys who's hair is thinning. That's where they work best

      Strand and Thread he man I use cavalier on my fine but thick hair it worked perfectly but when I finished distribution in my hair I saw 30 strands on my palms is that bad

    • @StrandandThread
      @StrandandThread  7 років тому

      mudar somm did you brush your hair before using it? If you didn't then you can expect hair to fall out when styling but if you did brush your hair out beforehand and you still have your hairs pulled out - then perhaps the product is too grippy for your hair

    • @mudarsomm7117

    • @joaocoimbra1846
      @joaocoimbra1846 7 років тому

      Edwin Gaitan In terms of hold, definetly Hybrid, the two products work well together but if you have fine hair and can only afford one, go for Original since it can be used as a pre-styler and post-styling

    • @StrandandThread
      @StrandandThread  7 років тому

    If you think hybrid scoops out easy in your opinion you should try the clay pomade from arcadian. That shit truely scoops out like nutella.

    • @StrandandThread
      @StrandandThread  7 років тому

      Haha yeah i've heard so. I was going to purchase Arcadian Clay pomade but then I got sent this so i thought there was no point in me buying that too. They're rather similar from what I gather, would you agree?

    • @David-hc8he
      @David-hc8he 7 років тому

      I'm using the arcadian clay pomade right now and I do agree with you. They're rather similar, but I think hybrid has a slightly stronger hold.

    • @StrandandThread
      @StrandandThread  6 років тому

      to be honest with you - when I first started using Hybrid on my short hair - i preferred it but now as my hair is growing out I'm preferring using Cavalier. I find that hybrid makes my hair look too messy and dirty, whereas a smidgen of cavalier as a post styler really works well

      Strand and Thread I have used Carters Fortify Clay, Pete and Pedro, etc. But it seems like my fine, dense, straight hair always falls down.

    • @StrandandThread
      @StrandandThread  7 років тому +1

      yeah i think Fortify is a more traditional heavy clay, which is probs why your hair keeps falling down. You need a lightweight product. I'm awaiting some more products, then i'm gonna make a video showing my all my favourite products for fine hair and give suggestions
