I just discovered your beautiful art the other day! I loved the moon tile (lunar crazy you could say LOL!) AND I just love these curtains. It was just meant to be - all those beautiful panels look so good together! I do have a material stash - but they just wouldn't flow together I would have to purchase some fat quarters or something. Thank you for sharing your lovely work & wisdom (recipes too) with others!!

Truly awesome! I have been wondering how many fabric quarters that I would need to make some curtains and I was thinking all wrong. I LOVE the idea of using old clothes, scrap fabrics, jeans, etc. Awesome idea!! Thank you and take care!!

Cali Black You're most welcome and I sure will! 😊 Btw I know you mentioned needing an ironing board in one of your videos. While at Walmart, I saw neat iron mats that are magnetic and roll up when not in use. If you're interested, I will find out the exact name and brand asap and let you know. 🤔
Cali Black The ironing mat is called 'Brighter Days' Non-Slip Iron Mat. It's in a clear package in the Walmart home goods section. It will most likely be with closet hangers and such. That's where I saw it at the one here. Take care!!
Beautiful & cool!!! hugs thanks for sharing

I love these curtains, correction i love love love these curtains. My only dilemma whilst im a big crafter im not a sewer as such. I do own a sewing machine but no material....ooh the fun im going to have sourcing some. Love the colours you chose. Might use similar for boys rooms and use rich burgandy hues for both my daughter and i.
Tfs 🌹
Thank you so much for watching and for your wonderful comments :) ..Have a beautiful day, sending lots of Peace & LOVE
Beautiful Cali! I used to quilt so I know how much time the process takes. Good idea going with the 8 inch blocks☺. Peace and love to you as always
HUGS sending you rainbows and rainbows of healing and hugs
im gonna missyou my dear cali .
Great idea I I want to copy a late 1980 bed spread that had rich green, purple ,fushia ,blue, turquoise geometric shapes with my colorful assorted Cosplay tiny scrap material like velvet satin sheer and boring lining material that all compliment .
Bravo Sister, You Did it !!! The Curtains are Marvelous; and oh so Cali :) So cool we have the same sewing machine...Do you have an Overlock ? I did a lot of curtains and I don't know how I ever made them before I got The Overlock...I've done Quilts, but Never Pieced an entire set of Curtains...Take it from an Old Nana when I say " You did a Fantastic Job with this Video !!! " If you have enough squares left over you could make a matching Table or Dresser Runner., or Purse or Skirt...Your so talented the possibilities are endless :) TYFS Love YOU a Very BIG Much XOXOXOXOXO
No I don't have an overlock...is that like a serger???? I adore sewing, there just isn't enough time for all of these projects lol....Sending you lots of LOVE and many hugs to you and yours, love you so much LYBM XXOXO
I love those curtains a lot. Beautiful colourscheme too. I do have some questions; you mentioned to Iron the seam open but it looked to me that you ironed them to one side instead of open. If so do you put all those seams to the same direction ? And doesn't it give a lot of extra bulk specially with both the front and back done that way? I noticed you didn't zigzag the edges. Won't it fray after a while As curtains Will be used a lot. And last question, lol, would it not have been easier to also close the top and Just leave a small opening to turn it the right way out and handstich the last part?
I also like those curtain clip rings a lot, never saw those before. The curtain doesn't come off thise clips when crossing or opening? Oeps, that was a 4th question lol. Thank you very much for this video, I love it and will make curtains like that in the future. Regards and love
I lover these, but man is this going to change your lighting and the ambiance.. Love love love... So when you think of it and have time, could you take another picture but pulled back from your window? Plus you've not shown your other curtain, going into your bathroom area, or did you change that too? Let me say this again, I love these. lol I've got sheer chiffon scarves sewn together for my window and I used a white shawl, that I've not used in ages and draped it as a valance. I have ONE window.. lol but I love my little apartment. Keep going gf.. now on to your next video.. BB
Thanks so much as always for all of your LOVE and support sweet Sandi, hope you're having a great week Sister XO
Where did you come up with such cool scraps? I can't find material like yours anywhere.

Your kenmore is really quiet. I had one years ago. I think it was my first machine. Too many years ago in SF.
Love from kashmir
The bottom would look great with a little dangly purple balls on the end
