  • Ok love, so I find that winter can be so harsh on my hair and my regular routine does not cut it! I always need a little more TLC and this hot oil treatment is beyond amazing applied to skin, the ends for sealing as a butter or melted down for use as a traditional hot oil treatment. Hello hydrated hair!
    Cocoa butter 1 cup amzn.to/2sgv0n5
Block of shea butter ( approx 1 cup) amzn.to/2DYy4XT
    Beeswax 2 Tablespoons amzn.to/2YxC7Ue
    Almond oil 2 Tablespoons amzn.to/2Ry91Tr
Recommended addition if not using on your skin (1 tsp of fenugreek and 1 tsp henna )

You inspired me to go natural when I was 17 years old and I promised myself when I graduated high school I was going to cut my hair into a bob and slowly transition. I’m 20 years old and have made it to my original shoulder length with thick curly hair. Thank you for all your advice and support along my journey. I have truly learned so much from you about a part of myself that was thought to be unruly and a hassle to tame but now I can truly say wholeheartedly that I love every part of what makes me me. Much love from Tennessee (USA).🥰🥰

Am a Sudanese living in sultanate of Oman.. beeswax along with sheep or cows melted fats with another vegetable oils are ancient as a hair and body butters and kept our then ladies skin and scalp healthy young and glowing.. I felt really joyous and satisfied looking at how you did this faithfully .. in contrast nowadays young ladies are dreaming of high end companies products from UK and USA to get the ultimate magazine covers shape.. thank you 🙏🏼

Darling, double boiling using a bowl over water is much better than direct heat for melting butters less risk of cooking off the nutrients in raw butters.

I think you have said that in one of your videos before, someone did and it makes sense. Heat (breaks down nutrients), it takes away some of the nutrients just as when you cook food.

@@CurlyProverbz wow. Nice to know. Thanks for sharing very useful information with the world. Thanks to You, I tried fenugreek, Amla and henna for the very first time and my hair loved it. I tried Amla mask too. I didn't know much about ayurveda until I found your channel. I made my first batch of henna oil I'm currently using and I love it. My scalp hated oil in the past but surprisingly not this oil. My scalp used to itch like crazy and I saw 2 different dermatologists, one only few months ago but not much improvement. Now I have witnessed a huge difference. Apart from prayer I have added new recipes from your channel to my regimen and I'm very happy so far. God richly bless you. Your channel is "God sent".❤

I’m a big fan & this is the first time I’m leaving a comment. I had heard of this type candle/moisturizer and was looking for a recipe. Lo & behold I find this with a (hair) twist. I made this a few days ago for my skin and you use so much less than you would a lotion; it’s not slippery, I use it on the bottom of my feet & don’t feel like I am sliding on the bare floor. I’m going to use mango butter or coconut oil in my next recipe instead of cocoa butter (not a big fan of the smell) and I’m going to add some Ayurvedic herbs for my hair. This was so easy to do. Thanks so much! Keep inspiring.

Hi, so I was wondering about your opinion on an infused oil I’ve been developing for me and my brother. We both have dandruff and the Shea moisture product that saved us has been discontinued so I’ve needed to find a new treatment for us (as well as fast and healthy hair growth in which I’ve been using Jamaican black castor oil for but I want an upgrade).
I’ve decided to use the following:
Alma powder, Aloe Vera powder, Lavender flowers, rose buds, chamomile flowers, red clover blossoms, fenugreek seeds, Jajoba oil and Avocado oil. What do you think of this line up?
Also, how much of the powders do you think should be in about a 300ml of oil?
Thank you so much , I love all your videos!

    Hey Farida
Yihan from Brampton, Canada. Your ideas for the infused oils have brought out my creative side and I've been making my own infusions and even glosses, rice water and teas.
For this hot oil, do I need to use the beeswax? My lovely 4c hair and my scalp throws a tantrum when there is wax in any product I use.

Shout out from Philly!!! I big chopped 10 years of locs and am embracing being a curly haired natural. But I had hair down my back and now I have TWA. I want my hair back...but no more locs. Cheerio from across the pond.

Love this! Just checking on the amt of beeswax. The notes say 2 tablespoons, the text in the vid says 1-2 teaspoons. How much and is there any concern w amount if using in hair?

Loved this idea and great vid!! Only thing, it’s my YT pet peeve for ppl to say that stuff will b “down below” or “put in the description” and then it’s not😤 I went immediately there to look for the wicks and of course it’s NOT there🙄

Hey, I am new to your channel and watching your old videos to catch up on hair growth journey. To make this easy for myself bcz I am highly thinking of starting it. I want to kindly ask did you stop using MSM products since you didn't include it in this recipe? Thanks :)
