You inspired me to go natural when I was 17 years old and I promised myself when I graduated high school I was going to cut my hair into a bob and slowly transition. I’m 20 years old and have made it to my original shoulder length with thick curly hair. Thank you for all your advice and support along my journey. I have truly learned so much from you about a part of myself that was thought to be unruly and a hassle to tame but now I can truly say wholeheartedly that I love every part of what makes me me. Much love from Tennessee (USA).🥰🥰
Go, girl!
This is just so sweet .... so glad that you are loving your natural hair and that it is thriving. sending love xox
Did anybody get confused if we were making hair oil or a candle
Oh ladies.... it’s a hot oil treatment that you warm with a wick it was supposed to be a fun twist x
I would just leave the wax out of the ingredients 🤷🏿♀️
@@Unseentoyou1 would y'all die if you didnt find something to be negative about?
Yes, I got confused for a moment. 😂 I was like what? A candle hot oil treatment. Was starting to think we adding candle wax to it. 😂
LOL!
Am a Sudanese living in sultanate of Oman.. beeswax along with sheep or cows melted fats with another vegetable oils are ancient as a hair and body butters and kept our then ladies skin and scalp healthy young and glowing.. I felt really joyous and satisfied looking at how you did this faithfully .. in contrast nowadays young ladies are dreaming of high end companies products from UK and USA to get the ultimate magazine covers shape.. thank you 🙏🏼
This is low key genius tho
Right!
SheRea DelSol it really is! But I’m confused what the beeswax for? And how it benefits the hair. Time to research
Darling, double boiling using a bowl over water is much better than direct heat for melting butters less risk of cooking off the nutrients in raw butters.
Exactly! I was about to say the same thing. I always try to help people with this. 😊💚🌱💛
Thanks love... you are absolutely right!
You miserable humans...I am going to destroy your planet if you don't stop using direct heat to melt butter and oils😡👽😆
Angela Tannor this May be true, but obviously she’s doing something right if her hair is down her ass. Let her be.
I think you have said that in one of your videos before, someone did and it makes sense. Heat (breaks down nutrients), it takes away some of the nutrients just as when you cook food.
Shout out from Belize!!!! Girl you need a laboratory with all the work you put in!!!! Thank you for sharing so many natural ways for us to care for our natural curls. Your channel has given me hope 🤗🤗🤗
Tantimol Murl haha I do need a lab right!? So happy my channel has been helpful x
small trick is to dip the bottom of the wick into the wax, then press it into the vessel of choice & let harden, then pour the rest after the wick is in place.
@CurlyProverbz
Great tip!!
OOOooo girl you have done this before haha thanks for the tip!!
Curly Proverbz Hey girlie. Just discovered you a few weeks ago. Plan on making the oil soon..CANT WAIT to see the benefits. One question.. I saw someone say u stopped adding Vitamin C powder to ur mix because it made your hair dry. Is this true??
A hair and skin candle?? Omg CP, you have outdone yourself!
Zee , Truly!!! I wish had seen earlier for Christmas gifts!!!
I love a good hot oil treatment for my hair during the winter. Regular hot oil treatments certainly help you hair growth.

Yaay
LOVE Ghana. It is actually the very first place that I ever bought Shea Butter x
@@CurlyProverbz wow. Nice to know. Thanks for sharing very useful information with the world. Thanks to You, I tried fenugreek, Amla and henna for the very first time and my hair loved it. I tried Amla mask too. I didn't know much about ayurveda until I found your channel. I made my first batch of henna oil I'm currently using and I love it. My scalp hated oil in the past but surprisingly not this oil. My scalp used to itch like crazy and I saw 2 different dermatologists, one only few months ago but not much improvement. Now I have witnessed a huge difference. Apart from prayer I have added new recipes from your channel to my regimen and I'm very happy so far. God richly bless you. Your channel is "God sent".❤
Thank you for the idea and tutorial! I made my candles last night and love the smell and smooth texture of this hot oil/butter! Will be giving two as gifts. I've been following you for a year and learned so much from your videos. Your recipes have been game-changing for my hair!! Happy Holidays to you and your family.

I am from Jamaica and I am a big fan of yours, I just love your Hair treatments and methods are easy to follow.
Brazilian here! Love your videos!
Hey beauty! Watching from North Carolina and this is BRILLIANT! You can light the candle just long enough to soften for single use. Girl, you keep us guessing!
I’m a big fan & this is the first time I’m leaving a comment. I had heard of this type candle/moisturizer and was looking for a recipe. Lo & behold I find this with a (hair) twist. I made this a few days ago for my skin and you use so much less than you would a lotion; it’s not slippery, I use it on the bottom of my feet & don’t feel like I am sliding on the bare floor. I’m going to use mango butter or coconut oil in my next recipe instead of cocoa butter (not a big fan of the smell) and I’m going to add some Ayurvedic herbs for my hair. This was so easy to do. Thanks so much! Keep inspiring.
Reppin’ the east Side! 🇺🇬🇰🇪 kenya/Uganda!!! So happy I found you! You have literally changed the natural hair game! My happy days are going shopping for herbs now!😂😂 My wash days are so fun now! 😍😍😍 who would have thought!
Hey! Where in Kenya do you find your herbs?
@@OliviaWanjohi check out Mara organics..
I don’t currently reside in kenya I’m sorry!
Watching you all the way in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines it's a lovely island in the Caribbean.

@@Jadonalecwilson23 I love Saint Lucia...been there 3x this year.
I'm getting spa indulgence vibes and I l❤❤be it. Bless you Bella.
Alison Thomas bless you sis.... yes those were the vibes we were going for x x
This is an amazing prepoo treatment, body butter, hair moisturizer. I made mine with olive oil and a triphala powder. I cant stay out of it. When you burn it it leaves this oohey gooey goodness that turns into an oil. It is truly liquid gold for skin and hair. I think this is my favorite diy. Thanks curly proverbz you are a gem.
I love a good hot oil treatment but wow I NEED to try this now!!
Thank you so much, much for the great, wonderful, Genius idea. I’ve never thought of that.
It’s December 2020 and I’m still making this! Such a nifty idea and feels so good on the hair and skin!
Hola ! Me encanta la idea 😍. Este método facilita algo que puede dar mucha pereza. Es una idea genial. Muchas gracias por compartirlo.
A moisturizing candle who knew? You threw me a curve ball at first but by the end of the video I understood what you meant creative and fun content I've used all your DIYs I'm sure I'll love this one as well keep on 🙌 🙌
at first i was confused but this is effing GENIUS! u shd totes sell this it'll be revolutionary
Wow! Beautiful creation 🙏🏾.. amazing as always..your channel is the reason my hair has reached its most healthiest stage ever and is growing.. thank you so much especially for your Ayurveda hair routines and tips which have taken my hair to the next level 🙏🏾❤️
What a BRILLIANT Idea! Love your channel! So when you do a wash and go - do you just use the butter only - no gel? Does it maintain curl definition with no frizz
ok this is GENIUS!!!
This would be great for Christmas gifts. Put the mixture into mini candle glasses, tie a ribbon on it and boom!
Seriously actually about to do just that and I am gonna put my calligraphy course to use and write some cute notes and scriptures and booom! (as you say... haha)
Can't wait to try these oils together! Thx for the recipe sis 🙌🏾 I am viewing from the US but my heritage traces bk to Sierra Leone ❤
Definitely trying this recipe I have been looking to grow my hair and my daughters hair and care for it this winter... love your videos been watching you for a while👏🏾👏🏾😊🙋🏾♀️👌🏾
Kelly Woods thank you so much Kelly! Enjoy x
Right On Time - Thanks Farida!!!
Thank you babe! Enjoy x
You guys it’s both a candle and hair oil... it’s all natural and she is letting you know that when heated up it applies better, smoother. For us low porosity girls (like meee) then this is amazing and I keep a bottle of essentials for my hair and skin anyway so this is fantastic and I love it !!!!! ... keep me coming !!!
I make mine with cocoa butter, shea butter, honey, virgin grape seed oil and virgin coconut oil. I put on my hair and skin and it is soooooo good. I am going to try beeswax and honey quat with it next.
Oh yes grapeseed and honey would be a good addition

Thank you 😊
Man your hair is absolutely stunning. Wish I could grow my natural hair that long.
Thank you so much my love. Be encouraged. I was stuck at collar bone length for 2 decades with a change of practice my hair flourished....I share all these practices on my channel xox
Hi, so I was wondering about your opinion on an infused oil I’ve been developing for me and my brother. We both have dandruff and the Shea moisture product that saved us has been discontinued so I’ve needed to find a new treatment for us (as well as fast and healthy hair growth in which I’ve been using Jamaican black castor oil for but I want an upgrade).
I’ve decided to use the following:
Alma powder, Aloe Vera powder, Lavender flowers, rose buds, chamomile flowers, red clover blossoms, fenugreek seeds, Jajoba oil and Avocado oil. What do you think of this line up?
Also, how much of the powders do you think should be in about a 300ml of oil?
Thank you so much , I love all your videos!
Excellent idea, thank you so much.
All I can say is WOW!💙🥰
From Eritrea East Africa living in the Uk🙂 Thank you for the tips ♥️
Thank you for the video!!! I would like to know how do you incorporate this treatment to your entire routine?!!😘😘
I LITERALY WAS SALIVATING OVER THIS......Contemplating how to use this but it looked delicious over stove-top. Wow, my Amazon cart is going to tip over!!! Amazing as usual Mademoiselle Farida!!!
Yeah yeah, viewing from Nigeria..... Your very loyal follower

Mona Bryant 😭😭😭😫😫😫 Thank you so much babe🙏🏽 blessings upon blessings to you ❤️
I never melt my Shea butter with heat my grandmother who was a Shea butter maker always said its is best to use it as is or by just whipping it, as heat will kill all the nutrients good for skin and hair. I only heat up Shea butter when using it to cook food as it is edible. Thanks for sharing
xo
How do you heat it to whip it@ mateyana
Love hair, makeup and gorgeous sweater.
ElegantPaws01 thank you my love

Hey Farida
Yihan from Brampton, Canada. Your ideas for the infused oils have brought out my creative side and I've been making my own infusions and even glosses, rice water and teas.
For this hot oil, do I need to use the beeswax? My lovely 4c hair and my scalp throws a tantrum when there is wax in any product I use.
Enjoying your videos from Ghana... much love
Wow! Amazing! I would love to make this 🌹❤️
This is CREATIVE!!!
Shout out from Philly!!! I big chopped 10 years of locs and am embracing being a curly haired natural. But I had hair down my back and now I have TWA. I want my hair back...but no more locs. Cheerio from across the pond.

Love this! Just checking on the amt of beeswax. The notes say 2 tablespoons, the text in the vid says 1-2 teaspoons. How much and is there any concern w amount if using in hair?

Loved this idea and great vid!! Only thing, it’s my YT pet peeve for ppl to say that stuff will b “down below” or “put in the description” and then it’s not😤 I went immediately there to look for the wicks and of course it’s NOT there🙄
Massachusetts! Close enough to Boston. I love watching your videos! We both have a similar curl pattern and texture too 😍🤗I went from a little past shoulder length 3 years ago to waist length. Literally reaching to my hip ❤️🙏🏽🙌🏽 Thank you for all the advice
Hey, I am new to your channel and watching your old videos to catch up on hair growth journey. To make this easy for myself bcz I am highly thinking of starting it. I want to kindly ask did you stop using MSM products since you didn't include it in this recipe? Thanks :)
