      I'm guessing for two reasons....
      1) People haven't found her yet. Some people have been in the game far longer than CP. There is one very popular content creator who has over one million subscribers. But she also has a product line that is very successful. She's been on UA-cam for at least 12 years.
      2) CP doesn't have the hair type of the majority of people, which is 4a-c. My friend discovered her in 2020, but didn't subscribe until 2021. Her reason was because CP doesn't have hair like hers. She was looking for content creators with her hair type that she could relate to. But when she watched a few videos this time around, she realized that she could use CP's vast knowledge on growing your hair long. That's universal among all hair types. We can ALL grow our hair long no matter what texture we have.
CP is Amazing! 🏅 She also recently launched launched her own product line that her fans have been asking for. I have no doubt that she will get to one million subs in due time. 🙌🏾

thanks for the tips! so would you say that amla is equivalent to protein?
    1. Tea (leave in)
    2. exfoliant mix with soft sugar and oil (recommended papaya oil)
    3. add to cleanser
    4. mix with clays
    5. mask (amla aloe juice)
    6. mix with henna
    7. mix with deep conditioner
    8. infuse in oils/butters
    9. infuse in gel
    10. ayurvedic skincare

My hair was suffering from general neglect and a bit of heat damage before the lockdown. I decided to fall in love with my hair again and really take care of it. I didn’t have any protein products and couldn’t get my hands on any BUT I did have some amla powder funny enough. It really does work like a protein because my hair has leapt back to life in these last 6 weeks. I’m so pleased because I thought I had irreparably damaged my hair that I’ve been growing for 6 years and is quite long. The thickness is ridiculous too. I can’t recommend amla enough.

I’m new to your channel so I’m trying to catch up on all of your content, which is great by the way. I just had a suggestion that if you plan on continuing the series for each Ayurvedic that you can insert a demo of each way they can be used, such as teas, oils, etc. even if you place them at the end so viewers have the choice to watch them or not. It would also be helpful if a “recipe” was added in the contents so everyone has a list of ingredients, directions and suggestions on how it can be altered (I usually take a screenshot so I don’t forget or miss anything).

Did my Amla pre-poo again this morning this time it went much better. Sitting with it on my hair scalp now. Once I’m done my house chores I will jump in the shower & wash && deep condition. Thank you so much CP for all of your videos. I used 1/4 cup of Amla & mixed it with hot water & oils. I’m going to see how this helps my hair & my scalp health as I’m a sufferer from ccca. Im hoping that this will help me to retain my length as well. I was using onion juice & it helped massively but I couldn’t retain the length & growth, once I stopped my hair stopped growing as well so I’m praying this helps. Blessings to you & your family - stay safe

    • @rdaliz
      @rdaliz 4 роки тому +7

Amla is amazing for hair growth. I believe it increases the density of the hair. I have been using it since I used to wear my hair straight. And I continue to use it now that I am a curly girl.
I am also using it as a mask for my spouse mixed with aloe vera, and it is helping with his receding hair line. I told him give amla 3 months of consistent use and you will have your hair back. He has 6 weeks using it. I'm impressed.
As for me, I do not use it as often I have pretty good medium to high density, but it is game changer.

Theresa Baldwin I’m not sure how she uses it. I’ve used shikakai as a rinse in place of shampoo just mixing it with water and letting it sit for an hour before use. Then follow up with conditioner. I try to rotate between regular shampoo and shikakai. I also use brahmi, Amla, aloe, neem, bhringraj in water overnight and use it as a rinse after shampoo/conditioner.

There are interesting videos on how to reverse perms on UA-cam. I never had a perm. My mom was a scientist and took me to see cadavers and she told me the people who had green scalps were black women with relaxers. I never wanted a perm again. Thanks to this channel - at 32- I finally learning how to take care my hair...don't fell bad

Great video! I prepoo'd with amla and brahmi last night 😍. Is it safe to leave the tea in the hair? Or do I have to wash it out the next day? I would also find a video on oil infusion really helpful. I just got a boat load of new ayurvedic powders, and would love some tips on infusing them into oils. Thank you!

Hi Farida, I started adding Cassia and alma to my conditioner a few years ago, after giving the herbs your stamp of approval- and yes the growth is real. However, after watching you recent herbs video, which included the alma case studies and it’s effects, I started applying the herb with an oil directly to the two sparse shots (loss braids as a teen) on my temples about a month ago, but now both areas appeared to be even more pronounced. Any suggestion here-should I revert to the rosemary, peppermint and castor oil suggested in the last video?

Bless you!!! I've been watching your videos for quite some time, you are truly an inspiration. I'm over 50 and experiencing shedding and thinning, I love some of your methods but when I make certain things oils or teas I'm not quite sure how to store them or for how long. If I've missed a video could you direct me to that, or would you consider sharing your storage methods.
    Thank you, Sabrina.

Tea should be stored in the fridge and used within a week
As for oils you can last as long as a month just keep them in a dark jar away from sunlight so they can preserve their properties and keep on infusing , for application just add a little bit in your applicator bottle and use and refill once finished

Just a note on the amount (%) of extracts....etc in cosmetic products; an extract is super concentrated as is other actives so it only takes a very small amount to provide benefits. Also at higher amounts the formula would break down in multiple ways.

So I'm a guy and I am learning as I watch these videos, but do you use the rinse on the same day that you're washing your hair? Or do you use it on the other days that you're not washing? Also how frequently can you use before you should stop and take a break? And how what is the life of the tea? That is, how long can you use a batch before you should dump it out and make another? Do you have to refrigerate it?
Like I said, I'm a guy and I am learning all of these things that CP is disseminating in her videos. I enjoy learning from CP and all of you. My mind is an empty bowl.

Thank you for introducing me to Amla more than a year ago. Henna, Amla & Bhringraj. Actually, to Ayurveda on the whole. A colleague told me to look you up online and I've been with you since. Hair challenges, All things O'natural, Henna Sooq, Belle Bar. Thanks for everything, you are so wonderfu! My hair is the strongest & longest its ever been. however, I continue to have scalp soreness and moisture retention past a day eludes me. Before your channel, I didn't even know about deep conditioning, now I do this once a week. Also, I spritz with water, aloe vera juice or herb infused water twice a week and apply oil and seal with a butter. Still using the Argan butter from the last Belle Bar challenge. My hair just sucks it up. Any ideas what I could do to improve this. Yes, you guessed it, I have high porosity hair. :-)

Hi, I believe Amla straightened my naturally curly hair. My hair is bleached. Has anyone had straightening occur? I want my curls back. This has been going on for a number of months.

    • @LoriUnleashed
      @LoriUnleashed 3 роки тому

History: I used it on my hair as a single ingredient mask and left it in for many hours. I did this 2-3 times as the color would fade. It did make my bleach blonde hair a gorgeous strawberry blond. But my curls are bone straight. It’s like I took a straightener to my hair. It did make it thicker and stronger.

I love watching you so much. Your hair is an ultimate goal but right now I’m just trying to get to shoulder length. It’s been the same length for years but I now know it has to do with low iron. I love your recipes and since using them my hair is just healthier. No length yet but hopefully soon once the iron level is up but I love how pretty and defined my curl have become. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Quick question; CBD what is the deal? It is everywhere! Infused in shampoo, conditioner, body lotions and almost everything. Have you had any experience with it for your hair? If so what were the results. Is this stuff just hype?

Hi Curly. Wonderful and informative video as usual. I am using amla oil in my oils ...thanks to you. How much of the henna powder to you add to your oils. I purchased henna from the " henba sooq" link on your site but I am unsure of how much to use in my oil to prevent my hair from coloring. I just want to benefit from its conditioning properties. Continue to stay safe and remember ...Sharing is. Caring❤
